Pre-Snap Motions & Other Subtle Peeves of Rule Breaking
peterpan replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yea ive been noticing that too. They no longer call illegal motion like that, when guys move forward before the snap. -
Williams for sure! No other defense in the world is so dependant on FS.

What are these two druggies up to these days? Lets go get them! Seriously lets discuss these two as options.... Last I read CLE was tired of Gordon's antics and would be willing to part ways with him for peanuts. Blackmon hasn't played in years and I assume his contract is up. Get these guys some personal escorts like Dez Bryant, work with the league to get them reinstated, and get them playing again. I can't image either getting more than league minimum to play, and all unguaranteed money. And with a full offseason to train, they should be in great shape come opening day. I would say WR was our weakest position all of last season. Then considering we have two WRs on the roster, and one of those two has THREE career catches, I'd say WR is by far our biggest need. Lets pursue these two yahoos and have the most dominant WR corp ever assembled. (for a couple of games anyways.)

Rapsheet: Cowboys priority is trade Romo. Not to Broncos
peterpan replied to dezertbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
3rd rounder for romo seems really high to me. Not a trade I would make. Best place for Romo is backup in Dallas. That's where he should want to be too. Old and broken QB who should be relegated to backup duty hopefully never seeing the field again but raking in millions in the process. -
Doesn't Whaley have to retain Taylor?
peterpan replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peyton also had 26 TDs on the worst team in the NFL. Id be delighted if we drated a guy like that in May. The real solution here for DW, and MCDermott too, is to retain TT AND draft a guy McDermott likes and can work with. That way they are covering all their bases. -
Doesn't Whaley have to retain Taylor?
peterpan replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peyton looked the part in year one. You could tell he was going to be good. You could tell he was a sure-fire guy in college. If the rook comes in and plays like EJ Manual or Jared Goff you can bet its bye bye Whaley - and deservedly so. -
I think this was directed at me. For the record, I was refering the the play design and play calling, not his play specifically, when I said "HS level".
-
Either TT come back or Romo comes over and stays healthy. Other than that we need to draft some big athletic pass catching tagets, improve the pass protection on the right side of the line, and get a competent DC. And KW needs to not retire
-
10 might be early but we need a big target stud and this guy is that. Him and that Mike Williams and retaining TT no one could stop our O
-
That stats truly mean nothing in these gimmicky college offenses. Watching the game last night Watson had something like 300 yards passing and two TDs at the beginning of the 4th Q yet, he had done almost nothing spectacular. No impressive passes. No amazing throws. Just dink and doink bubble screens. only 3-4 of his passes were even NFL caliber throws. Everything else was HS level crap.
-
One thing is for sure though, I have no faith in Whaley to determine which QB is or isnt worth drafting
-
You want to know who the bills should draft from that game last night? Mike williams the 6 foot 3 WR and OJ Howard the 6 foot 6 TE. Those two and TT at QB and our O would be so dominant. Give TT some big target to jump up for contested balls and you will see him throw more into coverage. The past two seasons he had NO ONE to catch those balls. EDIT - Add that Boulware guy to the list too

As far as Kizer goes - giant PASS. He stinks. Again, this is from walter football "One playoff general manager told me Kizer has the tools to be the prototypical quarterback prospect but never seems to put everything together and doesn't win. " AKA looks like tarzan plays like Jane. AKA EJ Manual 2.0

I knew there would be a love fest for this kid today. I am constantly suprised that people STILL haven't realized the difference in a college spread QB and an NFL passer. Man the entire game Watson looked like a nobody. He attemped and completed maybe 3 NFL throws before the middle of the 4th Q yet his stats were off the charts. Basically throwing bubble screens. People complain about TT wanting to run too soon and they like Watson !?!?! Watson nor Kiser will be anything in the NFL. Its fairly obvious to see. but don't take it from me, this is from the walter football site regardign Watson -- 1/9/17: I surveyed teams around the league to see where their initial draft grades were for Watson. Two playoff teams told me they had third-round grades on Watson. One said it was on the low end as a third- to fourth-rounder. Another playoff team told Walt that they had a third-round grade on Watson. Two other teams said they had second-round grades on Watson. Another team thought that Watson still could be a late first-round quarterback, similar to Teddy Bridgewater, because of the dire need at the position across the NFL. So basically Playoff NFL teams think he is a 3rd rounder kind of guy, with one team admitting he may go in the 1st round out of desperation for a starting QB.

2016 draft and 4-3 defense...
peterpan replied to HerdMenatlity1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok so zach brown and lorax have career years and make the all pro list........ so why on earth are the bills gonna let these guys walk!?!?! Gotta keep one at least you would think. Typical bills to let guys who priduce, leave -
Building a super bowl roster is a lot differnet than find the best QB in the league. A qb like tyrod can help you win partly because of the salary cap. No we cannot afford to pay him 30 mil but im sure that can be renegotiated. With an affordable qb you can build the rest of your roster. TT has shown that he can produce points well above the "game manager" label AND commit little to no turn overs. Salaries for the lucks of rodgers etc can really handcuff your team. We will never have that problem with TT. Please please please resign Tyrod Taylor!!!

NFL Coaching Hot Seats - Black Monday
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If im pegs id pay his brother 20+ million to come to buffalo if that is what it took. Seriously give him a blank freaking check. Id give him control of everyhing and i mean EVERY- THING. Roster, coaches, scouting too. Fire whaley if you want idc. If he likes mello yellow more than mountain dew then id only sell mellow yellow during the games. Pegs said if he wanted to make money he woukd drill another well. Ok- drill a few more and empty your bank accounts for Jimmy. -
Perfect spot for a big WR target. Top 5 scoring offense is possible with TT
-
I completely disagree. Tyrod is good enough. We are top ten in points scored!! Thats good enough!!! Look at the broncos just last year, Tyrod would have won the SB in that situation. They got there and won with Osweiler and an injured Manning.
-
Yep, watkins plus a big target wr woyld be a huge help. Use the #1 or #2 pick on a tall WR and thats great
-
No reason the bills cant go 11- 5 next year with tyrod and a realistic defensive improvement
-
Athletic wr with height of 6'4" or more

Former Bills DBs playing for other teams
peterpan replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why limit it to DBs? Moats is still startibg for Pitt who won their division tonight
