  1. Obviously but, in this case, he is also right. For most of the college QBs these days, their pocket presence stinks, because they are so used to bouncing outside and running. All of this year's guys do that, execpt Rosen and Rudolph. After watching these guys for years, I'm almost certain teams should start avoiding the bounce-it types. It's aparant that it's a hard habit to break
  2. I thought this was a cool segment and worth posting. Jim Mora Jr is a former NFL head coach, his dad was an NFL head coach, and he coached UCLA through this season. Mora answers to some of the questions re Rosen, and really praises him. Says Rosen is great in the pocket, great with accuracy, and anticipation. I have to say I agree watching Rosen's game. Mora also likes Darnold, but mainly praises his athletic ability, and then says he isn't yet a "pure passer" (which scares me personally). But he also said he thought Darnold would be a good pro. Mora says he "doesn't know" if he would take Mayfield in the first round, and if I read between the lines, he isn't very high on his NFL prospects, but was trying to be polite and upbeat about the kid. Overall....I'd say Mora's take is pretty spot on from what I have seen.
  3. Browns should bring in Whaley for some lesser role. He is a good talent evaluator, just couldn't seem to build a roster.
  4. Two options. 1- we spend all our cap room bringing in a free agent QB like cousins, and fill holes via the draft. Option 2- we trade all our picks to move up in the draft for a QB and fill all our holes with our cap room. Two sides of the same coin.
  5. The best thing for any "addict" is to get him away from his "friends". If you recall JFB brought a small Entourage with him to Cleveland. Hopefully he goes to Canada alone
  6. Same here. We can't even rate our OC of the. QB keeps missing reads. Who knows how much Dennison held back too
  7. It really helps when the league assigns you wins in games you shoulda lost too
  8. I would agree that all three were correct BUT BUT BUT not consistent with the rest of the NFLs rulings. If we are going to be CONSISTENT - then neither the TD nor the INT could be ruled a catch. The TD should have been reversed like Benjamin's Pats*** TD and the INT "wasn't controlled to the ground" like that Pitt TD against the Pats*** The proper rulings would have been KB TOUCHDOWN. And Pitt touchdown. But since the NFL botches it then, they should B word it now.
  9. I think the OP is spot on with how this draft is going to pan out. Cle and NYG are both going to go QB. Rosen says he won't play for Cle, but Rosen is clearly the top guy. I see Cle drafting Rosen and trading him like the Eli/Rivers deal from years past. It makes the most sense to trade with the Giants, and get the pick of the litter at #2. But Cle also picks at #4. There is a real chance that the 1st overall pick (Rosen) could be traded anywhere in the league, including the Broncos, Jets, Cardinals, or Bills. Now, why anyone is Against giving up all those picks.... I don't get it. Welcome to 2018... That's what it takes!!!!! Why do you think we made all those trades last season???? We were preparing for this exact scenario! We have the ammo to get to #3 by just trading out 1st and 2nds in this draft. I believe this scenario 100%. I thought this going back to the last draft day....They stockpiled picks during the draft and during the season to make this move up.
  10. I'm shocked you didn't mention the play calling at the end of the half...Which allowed them to save two timeouts and resulted in them getting 3 points.
  11. After that pick today, it's evident Peterman just don't have the arm strength. I mean come on , he can't get the ball there on an 8 yard hitch. Move on now and don't waste anymore time.
  12. I know we have needs, but add them all together and QB is STILL our biggest need. In fact, even with no needs at DL or OL we are still at best a 9-7 team. We NEED to upgrade QB!!!! What I listed is simply what it costs to upgrade the position in this day and age. Any/every draft pick has risks. We could draft a few duds at OL or WR or DL too. John Miller is a backup G and he was a high pick. Zay Jones was completely forgets let this season. Gotta make a move. HAVE TO. We passed on Mahomes and deshaun Watson last year. Bills can't wait anymore. Just can't do it!!!
  13. I disagree because we could end up with JP losman again, where the other teams got Rivers, Manning, and Roethisber. Look at the teams that need QBs....We gotta get ahead of them.
  14. Yea, I don't get this one. KC gave up a 2nd for him what, 8 years ago??? Why would he still be worth a 2nd?? It's impossible to say we need a new OC when TT could not execute the offense. Romo showed a number of times open WRs whom TT simply couldn't find. I say keep the OC for some consistency. We need that as much as anything.
  15. More evidence we need to make a big move for a QB. Our. Two #1s and a #2 is 1980 points on the trade chart. The 4th pick is worth 1800 ...... Add our other #2 and it's 2350 total. The #3 overall is worth 2200...... Trade up Buffalo!!!
  16. I don't think you have to worry about Mayfield going very high. He is not a first round talent. Allen will likely go to the Jets, if not Denver. I just don't see these QBs getting past all those QB needy teams. Rudolph will shoot up I bet, and end up in the first round. Jackson has serious physical talent, but mentally he isn't there. Can he get there is the question??? Historically, that's going against the odds Darnold is over rated and Rosen the rumor is he doesn't love Football. I'm hoping those two guys go early and we can trade up for someone else.
  17. I know, but I'm thinking out 2 #1s and out 2 #2s are traded away, maybe more
  18. Our OL is awful but we gotta trade up for a QB. DUH!!!
  19. Idk, their TD and the INT at the end of the game.... Those exact kind of catches were called incomplete passes for the Bills this year.
  20. Clearly many people in this thread have never heard of the 48 hour rule.... Besides just that, one can't just stay up late one night, and go to bed early the next, your body needs a routine. If it gets thrown off of its routine, it gets messed up.
  21. Looking at the draft order its hard to see anyone worth their salt falling out of the top ten. Cle, NYG, Indy, Cle again, , Denver, Jets. I can see the top 3-4 QBs being drafted in those top 6 picks. I just watched some of Rudplphs videos and he has an NFL arm and ball placement. I could see him in those top 6 picks come draft day. Mayfield does not have the NFL arm. His ball placement isn't good and his size isnt helping him. Lamar Jackson has an amazing arm too, but like Tyrod, cannot anticipate a WR coming open. Mentally he lags behind. I'd take a 3rd/4th on him, see if he can learn, and if not, he makes a great WR imo. I think if the Bills want one of the top guys, then a trade with Indy or Cle#2 is the play. I would be totally fine with trading our 1, our extra 1, our 2, and our extra 2 to move up. I see those extra picks as bonuses we got from great moves last year, while still getting great players (EJ gaines and Tre White) We accumulated those picks with the intention of doing exactly this....trading up into the top 5 to get our guy. Think of them as a sunk cost. Using our 2nd is nothing to lose.
  22. I think the obvious answer is......Bill knows Brady is in full decline. It was evident watching them this year that he isnt as good as years past. Watching Grappalo, its possibly, and even likely, that Belicheater knew Grappolo was better than Brady this season. The Pats*** record is what it is due to refs. I'm sure Belicheater wanted to ditch Brady this offseason and move forward with Grappalo. Think Rodgers/Farve here. Kraft wanted nothing of that, and made Belicheater keep feminine Brady instead. Just like when Pegula made Whaley keep Freddie Jackson....bad move.
  23. I personally expect it to be 50/50, or even 60/40 bills fans. If not in pure numbers, it will surely feel that way due to the excitement.
  24. Wow, just wait till someone tries to lure jim harbaugh out of Michigan
  25. Cool stat. With these teams, the win could easily come down to a few 50 yard FGs.
