  1. Yes. A number of times. But I have NEVER really liked someone, and they turned out bad.
  2. Reminded me more if Aaron Rodgers. I think he handled it great and I think AZ will be the next dynasty if he can stay healthy
  3. I hope they do a number of run/pass option plays. Allen seems comfortable with those and is athletic enough to do it. It seems like the wave of the future and the cheaters struggled with it in the SB.
  4. I think k you mean for the people WITH lives
  5. Totally normal for a new QB and C working together.
  6. These rankings are based on perceived potential. Allen does have some serious potential. Me personally I would have like more of a sure fire thing....
  7. I actually agree but, Whaley would have N E V E R found us a good QB. Marrone could have if given the opportunity. Not Whaley tho.
  8. Same here. I know 3 separate and independent people who have experienced and/or witnessed his behavior during the training camp here in Rochester. One of those was even an employee of the team at the time.
  9. Because they are stupid. I've seen it a lot recently, really good football people simply don't understand quarterback. I fear Beane is one of those people
  10. I agree with you. The WR additions do point to this type of offense. Problem is that type of offense is not Josh Allen's strength. Rosen was the perfect QB for the system you described.
  11. Allen should start day one or after game 4. Any later is scary to me. You can bet your butt Rosen is starting day 1
  12. See I think that this makes no sense. Josh Allen is not a quick decision, timing passer. He is a deep ball, deep out, scramble in the pocket type guy. With these two draft picks and the Kerley signing we now have three short little speedy guys. So why would we square peg him into a round hole??? Allen needs a vertical passing game more like the Steelers, not the Pats. He needs big targets that can compete for jump balls and inaccurate throws. The bills have had this problem across regimes; getting players who compliment each other. Another example of this is us constantly jump back and forth between power run game and zone blocking. Ugh
  13. Rosen was THE guy and bills didn't even know it
  14. Rosen would have avoided more contact by making the correct reads quicker. Allen will miss hot reads and make our OL look worse than it is...And it's already terrible
  15. More like we passed on Marino for Ken O'Brien. Am I the only one who thinks the excuse of "the browns and jets also passed on him too!!!" And then Bruce ariens team trading up for Rosen, is more of an affirmation that he is the best, than worst?
  16. I very famously said R Wilson was the second best QB in the draft (Luck being 1) and should be a top 5 pick.
  17. No, his arm will fall off once the re teach him to throw :-)
  18. Mayfield will retire after his next concussion too. And Allen after his next shoulder surgery.
  19. Because we don't have a starting quarterback.
  20. Is this a sarcastic comment?
  21. Dude dries over tweets for 5 years ago? Great....
  22. I want Allen to start day one. This team doesn't have the luxury of letting him learn for 3 years like he needs, but they knew that when they took him . Play him Immediately and let him sink or swim. Let's go 1-15 and get some other talent in here. Showwhatyou got kid.
  23. Allen has all the physical tools. Mentally he is really slow and doesn't see simple blitzes or make easy High school level reads consistently. In 2-4 years he MIGHT develop and be as good as Josn Rosen is right now. Rosen will likely be competing for Superbowls on his rookie contract while the Bills are still wondering if Allen will be the guy or not. McBean just penned their own oink slips if this kid doesn't perform.
