Probably. But that would still make him our best wr. By far.

We need a backup QB and it might as well be someone who toeing the line franchise QB before injury...... If you are like me, then you have no faith in Allen whatsoever. I'd trade a good draft pick for him if possible. Obviously we shoulda signed him in the off-season........

Ditch McCoy and bengamin but I'd make some moves for guys like A. Cooper, D. Thomas, T. Pryor, j. Maclin. Those guys can help us in the future.

Josh Allen looks on par with this year’s other rookie QBs

Seriously?? It's pretty eye opening. Watch some of Rosens videos on YouTube. Rosen/Allen is a stark difference. It's like Aaron Rodgers/Losman obvious -
HELLLLOOOOOOO. Everyone with a clue knew Josh Allen was abysmal and should have never been drafted. Only the Bills could possibly employ a scout dumb enough to think he's an early round pick let alone top ten. Here is only.one example. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/dan-orlovsky-2018-nfl-draft-class-quarterback-breakdown Fire the QB scouting Dept and just draft whomever this guy likes next tine.

Allen will never develop under Mcdermott

My opinion is Allen won't devolve under ANYONE. Allen would surely be a better QB if he was going to grow. Truth is he hasn't grown as a player much at all. Not in the NFL nor in college. McDermott is proving to be a great coach. Of corurse our O is gonna suck with those QBs. If we drafted Rosen we are 4-2 or better and a serious SB contender next season or in 2020 with that cap room and a stud QB on his rookie deal. Instead we will be middle of the road and looking for a new QB in 2020. Hopefully with McD still as coach -
If Anderson is physically able he should start next week

I did. Bc Allen stunk in that game too. People forget about bc he jumped over a linebacker and we won. Allen needs to sit. He needs it more than he needs more game experience. He needs the game to slow down for him before he can even begin to develop -
Trade mCcoy for foles. It makes too much sense. If he walks as a fa we get a third round comp pick. We can tag him for a few years if Allen does develop. Sign him long term if he works out

He has so much to develop it's just so unlikely. If it were possible you'd think it would have happened by now. Like in college or something.....

McDermott has been great I'm. Bean tho disappoints

Patrick Peterson available; has now requested a trade
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, there are now onlytwo formulas for winning the SB. 1 is have a HOF quarterback. 2 is have a good QB on his rookie deal and a stud team around him. I know we need tons of O help but, we can afford both spending on O and D. And with Allen not looking as good as we've hoped, that D will have to be best in the league. We shoulda traded for Mack but Peterson is good too -
Lots of sarcastic replies but I think the OP is right and I think that at least the coaching staff knows it. This actually reminds me a lot of last season with Tyrod and when we signed Kyle Orton last minute. Marrone knew EJ blew but Whaley wouldn't accept it. The staff wanted to move on from Tyrod last year but Peterman was worse. I turned the game on half way through the 2nd quarter and it wasn't until later in the 4th quarter that I saw Allen make a good play actually throwing the ball. He threw two good ones in a row, the second was a pick bc generic deadbeat receiver let it go through his hands, off his helmet, and was picked. Everything else was pretty awful. Down by 2 with 4 minutes left and we ran the ball the whole way down the field. I think Allen threw two passes, a swing pass to McCoy and what was basically a bubble screen- basically long handoffs. The playcalls are hiding Allen and it's deserved. Allen really has a long, LONG way to go. Derek Anderson can't hurt anything and I won't be suprised if he gets some playing tome and some point.

We've need a TE for 20 years.

Sal Carpaccio’s Plan To Fix Offense in 2019
peterpan replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need big targets with big wingspans to catch Allen's off target passes. Little speedy guys, like the ones we've signed and drafted so far, won't mesh with Allen's skillset. -
The Rosen Era Has Begun in Arizona
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Basically, Josh Rosen is the QB we hope Josh Allen's can laern to become. Which is pretty stupid to say, when we could just drafted him from the beginning, but it's true. And we will have to wait three years before he either makes it (highly unlikely, sorry that's just the odds) or doesn't. I loved Rosen, still do, I fully expect him to be a probowler by year 3 and have the Cardinals as perennial super bowl contenders. He is the best nfl qb prospect I saw in college since Luck, maybe even better. Allen was a essentially a 3rd round QB prospect who became a top 3 qb prospect because he could throw it 20 yards farther than everyone else. He is basically EJ Manual or Losman all over again. He struggles with basic reads. He has terrible pocket presence. He is inaccurate. He has shown flashes of greatness tho I will say, I just think it's luck mostly. I unfortunately don't have much hope but am still hoping. -
Marrone went for 2 up 31-12 with 25 sec to go vs Jets

"because I couldn't go for 3" haha! I like it. Play to win, no chances. Take your sportsmanship argument back to your kindergarten safe space.
