That is a great gameplan for teams with game manager or rookie QBs. We happen to have the best qb in the nfl. Now our best pass catcher may be our third string running back but still, I think we should open up the passing game some.

I thought the O in the second half went into a total shell. A few short drives and quick punts to open up, when we could have gone down and scored to be up by 18. Then the strange call at the goal line with Shakir lined up at FB. the only reason this game was close is because our O in the second half wasn’t good, and lost their first half success. And without our D causing those turnovers, we lose.

Against the best teams, we tend to get into shootouts. Our D can’t hang. Like the chiefs 13 second game, the rams and lions this year, etc. We should go for two every time right from the beginning. If we are better than 50% at converting, which we absolutely should be, and considering our kicker is far from 100%, we should get some extra points. And that could result in us being up 4 instead of 3 with 13 seconds left for example. If the team had been practicing that situation, and had some real solid plays in place, we’d have another advantage over the competition, who would be caught off guard. Kick No extra points in the playoffs!!!
