  1. We have been circling the drain for 12 seasons. I'm not sure we can 'collapse' from there - but I get your point.
  2. Well, I'm sold. But it is likely we draft 1st overall. Even still, with Geno SMith, Landry Jones, and the QBs from Tenn and VT whose names have excaped me, we should have a chance to get SOMEBODY. Hell, I'd draft two of those guys just to be safe. We aint going nowhere without a top ten QB
  3. Who says TJ even needs to learn the playbook? There is NO WAY you can be worse than Fitz.
  4. Well I guess its a good thing for you guys that Bills fans just love schitty football. Have a nice season.
  5. this is not a one game reaction? This is watching fitz the past 3 seasons and seeing only 6ish good games out of him. Why waste more time with him is my point. Its stupid.
  6. Fitz has been in the league 7 years - he has had plenty of time to be better than he was today and for the alst 12 games Besides, if a late round pick sucks as a rookie he wil lprob never amount to anything. Times have changed for high picks, Barkley will prob be a star from day 1 just like Luck RG3 Newton etc.
  7. If not Cousin then who? He is a rookie that looked OK in PS. McElroy from the Jets I thought looked OK in his PS snaps but I can't think of any other QB worth giving a shot. (for the record I'm not even saying these guy will pan out, but its better to try and find a Franchise QB rather than trot out Fitz every week) I mean people around here hate Tebow but I don't think I've ever seen Tebow play as bad as Fitz played today. Some fans are waiting for Fitz to get back to his early season 2011 form, but truth is he is a 7th year QB who has sucked for 6 2/3rds years of his career
  8. Trade for Kirk Couins and cut Fitz. At the end of this season we are going to be looking for a new QB regardless of how Fitz does this year. Use this year to find out if Cousins is worth keeping around. If he sucks, then draft someone, anyone high. We are just wasting time with Fitz on the roster. 3 first round picks traded - RG3 still looks like a STEAL. Fortune favors the BOLD.
  9. Me thinks 7-9.
  10. Vilma tweeted: "Victory is mine!!!! -stewie griffin" Wasn't Vilma's stance all along that he didn't offer money to other players and that the evidence was fabricated? I thought thats why he sued in civil court. This ruling sure makes it appear that he may be right. Either way, Goodell is still a d*ck. In other news - IF it comes to light that Goodell had no real evidence - does that in anyway make people further question the Spygate incident in NE? I still think that situation stinks with corruption. 'there was nothing incriminating on those tapes - so we destroyed them' - Goodell. And I'm sure there was nothing incriminating on the 14 minutes of the Watergate tapes either.
  11. Where are all the guys?
  12. Neither - he'll be lined up on SJ but Revis can't cover him!
  13. thats awesome, I would totally buy one. But a few years ago I was in a Macys or something and stumbled upon this shirt - which actually made it to the shelves..... I can't think why I didn't buy it at the time? For the record, the Bills did not win the AFC in 1980, but I believe they won the afc EAST in 1980.
  14. I'll take the 2nd year QB over the 7th yr journeyman QB. We aren't looking for a backup we are training our future starter, and I'm not sure what a 7th year journeyman QB could offer, regardless of how bad the 2nd year player may be.
  15. I remember hearing reports that teams found issues with Troup's back during their physicals. Maybe Kiper said it on ESPN but his back was an issue around ddraft time. Ironically, the Bills Medical staff cleared Troup and not Gronkowski......
  16. Fitz has struggled this PS and to finish last season. If things get bad TJack could be starting at somepoint this season. Im glad he at least has experience, but at some point the Bills need to take a big risk and go get a QB they think can play in this league, regardless if they think he is a reach at that pick or if they have to give up extra picks to make it happen. It was rumored the Bills like Ponder in the 2nd, well he went 12th overall. We passed on Dalton and Wilson this past year who won a starting job in Seattle. These playes may not pan out but at some point the Bills need to give it a try, or we will never find a QB.
  17. Well, if I was like Tupa, I would making about 20 times what I make now. Aka if I was a punter for 2 years, thats the same I would bring home in my entire working life (22-62). SO I think I would be a little prepared to do something else other than punt....like sit at a desk with back pain like I currently do. If he was paralized and couldnt work at all then OK yes, but there are thousands of jobs this guy could still do. I hear being a CPA pays well.
  18. Bills gotta take a chance on a QB at some point. They will eventually ahve to 'reach' for one too bc all the other teams do....and it is no longer reaching. You have to value the positon more and take a chance
  19. I believe that was the one Stevie dropped the TD in the endzone in OT. I remember thinking afterwards that without KW that day we could have lost 45-3, but instead its was an overtime game. KW is maybe the best interior DL player in the league.
  20. Williams, Kelsay, Merriman, Anderson Dareus, Williams, Johnson, Heard Carrinton/Edwards/Moore for the final two. Troupe has zero chance in my book.
  21. We didnt have a single run play or take a snap from under center until 9 mins left in the 2nd. All of the first team reps were shotgun passes. The only play action play I recal was a very nice completion to a wide open #11 whose name is escaping me, the rookie from NC state. This team is not the packers, Aaron Rodgers is not our QB. We should be running the ball 30 times a game with 10-15 play action passes a game and we could be great. I fear Gailey wont run the ball and Fitz will be a turnover machine. Fitz isn't cinsistant enough to throw it 60 times and win.
  22. Really? What about Gailey's pass happy offense the last two years has made you think that? Thursday night, the first team offense had 15 pass plays and zero run plays. Not even one of those pass plays were from under center and for about half of them we were 5 wide. In fact, the first run play and snap from under center wasn't until there was 9 mins left in the 3rd quarter. This is not a run first team. This is a pass it every play team.
  23. Last year I thought this team fell apart when Gailey abandonded the run. Fitz is average and gets worse when asked to carry the team. Going 4 and 5 wides kinda points in a pass happy direcection even if it is preseason. It is not a good sign of a producing offense IMO.
