The Bills could Cut Fitz, save 450k, then hire me to play QB for 100k, and save 350k. I couldn't be much worse!

Tuck rule - wtf? What was with that 'intention to throw forward but it was a lateral but it doesnt count bc he wanted to throw it forward' call - wtf? Defenseless receiver - wtf? Chanllenging a play that is automattically challenged by the booth results in a 15 yrd penalty and now they wont challenge it ? wtf? Constant PI calls all the time when there is no interference?? WTF? No calls ever that go against the patsies ever - wtf? If you can review a play, and the entire play is under review, how come the refs cannot call obvious penalties that were missed? WTF? The steve johnson catch and fall to the ground dropping the ball so i guess he didnt catch it even if though he did catch it called differently each week - wtf? Using video review to review a questionable call and the video shows incredibly clearly shows what the correct call should be but the ref still make the wrong call - even after reviewing it - which completely defeats the pupose of replay - WTF? I could go on but I got tired.

I like Greg Roman!!! I'd take this guy if it meant we got him. I think that means we trade for A Smith and have a realistic shot at the playoffs next year (we would also likely draft a QB in the 2nd still) Atlanta has done very well recently. I have to think that isn't the sole work of Dimitroff but that he had help. However Polians last years in Indy I thought were terrible. So who knows. But I like the fact that he is young and hungry at 36, not another old fart dude. He directed the college scouting department which bet the farm on J Jones and couldnt have been more right. Being born in Buffalo I have to think he grew up a Bills fan, which couldn't hurt us if we asked him to interview. In fact, I would be suprised if someone on this board didn't go to HS with him and could answer that question for us.

Sports Illustrated coaching change article

I still like Shaw or Roman as HC. If we couldnt get Harbaugh then lets get someone just like him! I also couldnt argue with Arians from Indy, but I think he will get a better offer than the Bills job. -
Seemed to work out OK for the Skins.

IDK guys, The jets are tanking worse than us and I think they are going to follow in Sancheeses footsteps and completely give up on Sunday. I see the Bills winning unfortunately. -
Deadspin: Bills Fleecing Taxpayers

• They're going to wire the bathrooms so you can hear live game sound while you piss. It'll cost $600,000, but the Bills are only on the hook for $164,000. God damnit still no beer shelves in the bathrooms -
Nix Doesn't Deserve To Pick A New Coach
peterpan replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good point. I never put Chans hiring on the list of buddys faults. But Gronkowski, B Spikes, JPP, JJ Watt, trading Lynch and getting only a backup tackle in return, Aldon Smith, Dalton, Kaepernack, R Wilson, Cousins, Orakpo, Mason Foster, those guys are all on his list. And Im sure there are others I am forgetting. -
How about trading for Alex Smith and hiring David Shaw (or Greg Roman, SF's OC) as HC? I assume Shaw has the same, or extremely similiar, scheme as Harbaugh and Alex Smith knows that scheme and played extremely well in it. That would allow use our strengths, our RBs and OL, as they are run heavy coaches. I think we make the playoffs next year with those two, simple, moves being made.

Draft Order Now highest is #4, lowest is #10
peterpan replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
is Jarvis Jones as quick as Miller was? It seems that 10 yard split time is a great indicator of success. But on the 3-4 idea - I think we would be very close to a success lineup on paper. Dareus likely starts at NG but KW could play there too. KW and Mario start at end with Carrington as a backup. Dareus could also play outside. Troupe could be put on the IR and not take up a roster spot. Anderson and J Jones and Moats outsside with Shep Nigel and Barnett inside. That may make barnett and Shep better players, hiding them inside like that. -
Draft Order Now highest is #4, lowest is #10
peterpan replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So what you are saying is - its OK Buddy drafted the wrong guy as long as someone else would have made the same mistake? Why is that OK? Buddy is one of 32 NFL GMs, he is supposed to see through that BS and take the superstar. Dareus looked average at best this year. Troupe stinks Williams Stinks Shep isnt any good, and there are players all over the place at the same and other positions that Buddy passed on who are significantly better. How in the world can you say Buddy Nix has drafted well? Let me name his good draft picks: Spiller Carrington AND NEITHER OF THEM START. So in two years, 14 picks, Nix has yet to draft a good starter. ****I left off this years class bc they only had one year, I realise Spiller should start, but the coach Nix choose doesnt start him, and I realise Sheppard and Williams etc start, but they aren't good. -
Wood should take it easy on his knee IMO. He has a history of injuries and Id hate for him to injure it worse - affecting next season.
-
What about Rinehart? He is a FA too and he is our top backup (aka starter if Levitre leaves.) I dont want to lose either honestly.
-
Hahaha good point.
-
Its hard to argue that spiller deserves it when he doesn't even start on his own team. :-) But it does make me want to throw up seeing all those players buddy passed on making the pro bowl. Ugh. PS if Landry Jones made it by coaches vote.and not fan vote we.should totally pursue him in FA. We need a.stud hard hitting SS to scare some other teams guys. I still like William Moore tho
-
I hope Burd and Levitre dont make it, It wouldnt help our negotiations at all.

Not trying to brag, but I did say I thought Wilson was a top ten pick back in March!!! http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/144025-mocck-draft-page/?do=findComment&comment=2425357 I was off on where Wilson would go tho, mainly bc of all the other stuff on the internet. This is the page I based my Mock off of http://www.profootballweekly.com/2012/04/06/pfws-exclusive-draft-value-chart-7 To be fair #34fan was spot on also!!! http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/142967-for-the-russell-wilson-fans/page__st__20?do=findComment&comment=2421421

The Helmet That Can Save Football
peterpan replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FWIW Motorcycle helmets are a one time use instrument. Once you slam it on the pavement - and in some cases drop it from the handlebars - it is supposed t be replaced as its usefullness as been expended. Is the NFL going to have players get a new helmet any time there is head-to-head contact? I guess they could, obviously HS and most college teams couldnt afford it, but I doubt it ever comes to that in the NFL. Meanwhile I do think Urlacher was right in saying that a lot of these newer, supposedly better air bladder helmets, are in fact worse than the old school riddells.
