Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu - CB - LSU
peterpan replied to dbflaBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anytime you can get a 1st round talent not in the 1st round you do it IMO. CBS sports had him as a 5th-6th prospect FWIW. Id take him in the 3rd or 4th if there. Id also like to target Lattimore in the 3rd. I had that in my sig but it was too much of a pain to keep updated before all the people declared and our D scheme changed so I deleted it till further notice. -
Zac Dysert - QB - Miami of Ohio
peterpan replied to TheBuffaloBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Id take him or Nassib with our first pick. We aren't going to have a shot at a good QB with our second, just look at the other QB needy teams in front of us. year after year it seems teams are drafting QBs earlier and earlier because, well, they are worth it. This evauluation is from watching the youtube clips (not highlights) of him. -
Jets’ cap number scares off GMs

this is awesome lol. but as they have done a number of times over the last ten years, im sure they will rebuild and make the playoffs before us i wonder if Scott or Pace will be FA targets of ours with our new DC and all -

So Wes Welker is set to become a free agent...

id sign him just so we dont have to cover him anymore. -
Ive never been a big fan on taking CBs high in the draft. I just dont think in the NFL today CBs are as important bc they cant really do anythign but tackle the WR after he catches it. Il;l say though, that Milner was a stud in the championship game. My bet is he is gone before we pick

If you could cherry pick any 2 NFL players.
peterpan replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I remember Marv's comment was that they had three players targeted at the pick and all three were still there, so they took their top one, who was lynch. I was shocked. This draft had Joe Thomas, Peterson, and Willis in it, and Lynch is ranked above those guys? WTF!!!! -

JJ Watt and Aldon Smith. Close considerations to Gronk and Calvin Johsnon, but we dont have a QB to make use of them currnetly! PS: is it sad that most of the players we are listing we passed on in the draft? -
Ditto. I hate the damned Patsies.

We took James Hardy instead. He is even worse! I still wish we traded for AQ that year. -
WGR 550 talking about when to draft a QB
peterpan replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the FO decides QB X is going to be a franchise caliber player, then my bet is they have him graded in the top 10 anyways. "Our guy is there! But people on the internet and ESPN say he is a 2nd rounder, lets take someone else and hope this guy we have as a top ten talent is still there in round 2...." Doubtful. This is a dead issue for me. The Bills clearly know Nassib. If they take him, its because they know him, if they dont, its because they know him. Not too worried about him honestly. Me personally, I be they like him and he ends up a Bill. BUT - they could like someone else more, so who knows. -

What happened to 16-25? PS: I hateto say it but that Dee Millner is damn good, and we STILL need CB help. -
Dareus Yes he is, he can play anywhere Yes we are.

I love this move. I think the bills db coach has sucked for some time BC I haven't seen such poor ball skills by any other college or NFL team. The jets have had great dbs so hopefully its BC of this guy.

Bills hire Mike Pettine for Defensive Coordinator

Does this make guys like Jarvis Jones at olb a draft priority? What about a cb like milliner? He may want a revised type at cab -
Geno Smith Tells the Senior Bowl "No Thanks"
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did you watch him at all? I swear half of his passes were screen passes. Its easy to compete a screen pass. Besides, stats are a terrible indicator of success, ie, Tommy Chang. He has poor pocket pressence too, and he often misses blitzers completely and gets blindsided. I dont like that. He really rocketed up boards after his 700 yard 8td games which caught everyones eye, before that he wasnt a lock to be the #1 QB and I still dont think he is. I just dont think he is the end-all-be-all-#1-QB in this draft. -

Well, I guess you figured it out. Maybe Tommy Chang is available? His stats are even better than that. -

peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you (liek Geno) are assuming he is going to be a top 10 pick, when there is a very good chance he isnt. IMO he has a lot to prove, and a lot to lose. Sitting out hurts him more than helps IMO because teams probabaly have lots of doubts about him and wont want to 'risk' it. -

An example of Marrone play-calling with Syracuse last year.
peterpan replied to Martimus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The play at 4:24 - Does anyone else rememebr that EXACT same thing happening to Sam Gash? I think vrs the Jets? hahahahahahahahahaha cause I do. -
There are lots of names not on your list, one is WR Denario Alexander from SD, others are at LB and DE. Gonzo is also saying he may retire. Id like to see a two year deal to Urlacher. Leader, winner, stud player. He ha more value as a change-of-culture guy than anythign else IMO. Id also like to see Michael Johnson (DE Cincy) and Matt Moore as a veteran QB to compete for the starting Job with the rookie.

Jets Personal Seat Licenses LMAO
peterpan replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im cool with the Ralph. its used 9 times a year - why the F does it need to be perfect? Just put some damned shelves in the bathrooms so I can set my beer down while I try to find mini-peter through 8 layers of pants. i also wish they could fix the traffic problem but thats more of an area layout issue than stadium issue. -
Was it fimed and distributed by the Pats*? Seriously though - I loved how the SU D throttled the WVU offense in teh Pinstripe bowl. They came after Geno and kept them off balence. Multiple sacks and safeties. It was awesome. The SU O was even more impressive, sticking with the run the entire game and just kept pounding it because it just kept working. None of that stupid out thinking yourself only to trick yourself playcalling that we have seen in Buffalo for ten years.

The new coordinators - newcomers or ex-HCs who will bolt?
peterpan replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally think a recently fired HC is more likely to stick around than a hot DC like Horton. Either one I would love, but I think a guy like Lovie or Wisenhunt would be here longer than a Horton.
