Bills Focus Video: Rookies Making Major Contributions
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on what? I'm not trying to be a smart A**, but I dont think Ive seen him make more than 1 or 2 special teams tackles all year. And when he did, I went "who the F is Duke WIlliams?!?!?!" Then I looked it up and remember we drafted him lol. -
If you were GM for a week, what would you do?

How about not trade Stevie and just draft a stud TE with our first rounder instead. My scenario is better than yours! -
Bills Sign OL JJ Unga to the 53 Man Roster
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I find it strange that a guy who could only start half of his games in college(10), at the D2 level, can make it to the NFL at all. Impressive, but weird. Judging by that alone (D2 player) I would imagine he would be playing inside at G. -
For once the ref gods favored us over Patriots
peterpan replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The ball was no where near Gronk, so much so that he didnt even make an attempt to go back towards it. I also thought that the contact was late and had no affect on the play whatsoever. The 'rules expert' guy that the broadcast had in to comment on the play also thought that a no call was the right call. However in todays over-officiated NFL that does usually draw a flag I would say. Also, that happened with 3 seconds left on the clock. Why not call the OBVIOUS intentional grounding on Brady on the first 3rd down of the drive? That should have kept the clock running I believe. Exo-facto time already expired. -
The offense may be in trouble - remainder of 2013 and 2014
peterpan replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing personal. but when he throws a fade pass at the goal line, it goes ten yards out of bounds and hits the camera man in the face. Fade passes on other parts of the field are caught by the ball boys. And when its a short pass he looks like a dart thrower or a shot putter. From what I saw of Thad I think he is the more promising project -
Colts Elevate Da'Rick Rogers to the Active Roster
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not when we cut him before even trying to use him. If we used him and he didn't produce maybe, but we didnt use him period. We need help at WR. If he helps a better team at WR then the Bills messed up again. -
All I know is, the ONLY thing Graham has showed me personally, is that he needs to be replaced. Goodwin should replace him immediately IMO. I also think Easly deserves a shot, because he earned it by playing lights out on special teams. Then he dropped an easy pass v the Chiefs. Ugh. I'll give him a break due to nerves. But I hope he proves himself the next few weeks. PS, we never should have let DaRick Rodgers go. I can just tell he is going to explode in Indy

With our 2013 1st round pick, we got the Rookie of the Year
peterpan replied to alias's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most likely, we also got a three year death sentence in the form of a bad QB who won't pan out and will likely take the coaching staff down with him. -

Whatever makes you feel better I guess. -
I wonder if we were one of the teams that inquired last off season?

This. Goodwin is a real deep threat and EJ needs to improve that deep ball. Woods has the goods underneath but Goodwin should really up our passing game IMO

I think he is pointing out that the no-brainer picks for the Bills at those times in those drafts where Orakpo, Gronkowski, and Wilson. Thats who I was hoping for at draft time and I know a lot of others on the board were too, specifically with Orakpo and Gronk. With Wilson, some posters want Kaepernake, some Dalton, but once those guys were taken in the 2nd, lots of those people wanted Wilson in the 3rd.

Robey is quickly becoming my favorite player on the D. How this guy went undrafted is mind blowing. He has been playing great!!!! Another strong pick up. I'd really like to see Branch extended ASAP. And that Charles guy who made two big plays last week was also impressive in very limited action. We finally have what is looking like a great D line!!!

I think Stefan Charles is the next Wake..
peterpan replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was wondering who Charles was. He had two very nice tackles, on only 5 plays? Seems like a keeper. -
Did you buy EA Sports Madden between 2003 and 2012?
peterpan replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I agree with you here. I don't see why the NFL can grant exclusive rights to Nike to sell Jerseys but not EA Sports to sell video games. When did you guys get checks? I did buy a few of these games between those yeras, and I filled out the paper work. I haven't gotten anything. -
It seems that our FO did one hell of a job adding quality veteran talent this off season. Alan Branch has done very well on the DL for us. Manny Lawson has been great at LB. The trade for Hughes seems to be turning out great. The trade for Thad Lewis was another great addition. Legurskey has been very strong since being inserted, and Jim Leonard provided some quality play at a moments notice with Byrd out. I cannot imagine our team performing very well without those guys. None of which are big names but are the type of players we need to keep adding. Is this a sign of Whaley putting his mark on the team? I think so. Coupled with our draft, we have about 6-8 new starters from last years team. That is a big turn around and IMO it was desperately needed.

What to do with TJ Graham?
peterpan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Goodwin is way better in every way. I see no reason for TJ to play unless Goodwin is hurt or tired or they would both be on the field at the same time. What is DaRick Rodgers doing? He was good in college and worked in our system. IMO we need some height and size at WR. I don't think Easly is it, and with our injuries we could use another body. -
Which is exactly why the coach should take away the option for that to happen.

[closed]I think you have to pin this loss on Stevie
peterpan replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sorry if this comes off mean, but you are stupid. Very stupid. How do you know that the DB who made the play didn't have the flat? Maybe a S or LB was supposed to get the middle of the field? I was in the stands and didn't see a replay but it looked to me like the DB purposely passed Stevie to someone else before sitting on the short pass. Are you really faulting our best WR for getting W I D E O P E N ? Tuel made the wrong read. It's Tuel's fault. I'd also blame the coach for not knowing his players and the situation better, but to blame a guy for doing exactly what he is supposed to do in as good a way as you can is epically moronic. Sorry to rant but of all the stupid stuff I save read on this board, this is definitely the dumbest thing ever. -
I blame the coaching staff for not realizing Graham is in over his head and that Goodwin is heads and shoulders better in very single facet of football, and therefore should be taking 80% of Grahams snaps. If Graham not on field then Graham not fumble, or not drop deep pass, etc etc etc Honstly Legurskey has been good. I no longer notice a glaring hole at LG and our running game is really picking up. We need depth a lot of places, esp G, but I like our starter in Legurskey

Tuel's throwing motion, and lack of coaching
peterpan replied to rcatty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He reminded me of the backup QB on my HS football team. He threw the same way with about the same arm strength lol -
Yea, that forth down call was awful. We ran it down the field all dang day, just keep it going when you have your 4th string QB in. I think that the next drive was the only KC drive where they scored points, and it wasn't off of a turnover.
