  1. I think its a lot more EJ than it is Marrone. Id like to see me some Thadues Lewis!
  2. Let me go see if if I can find my wish list for the last decade: O, here it is: QB TE Big athletic WR A good OL a pass rushing beast. A CB that can cover without getting penalties LB
  3. The Bills need to trade down again. Unless some stud QB makes it to them it has to be the case. Just look at how well it turned out for us this year (Kiko Alonso). Look at Dareus - after he was picked, there were numerous studs still taken after him who played other similar positions of need.. JJ Watt, Nick Fairley, Aldon Smith, Robert Quinn, Cam Jordan, etc etc. I love Dareus but if we traded back twice and got 2-3 more picks and ended up with Cam Jordan and just one other starter we would be a better football team right now. We are not 1 or 2 player away from the playoffs or winning the division. We are 5-6+ players and better QB play away.
  4. Most of those I attribute to EJs inability to identify the blitz or an open 'hot read' receiver. Our OL was clearly not making the correct blocking adjustments, but more of that falls upon the QB than you realize.
  5. Id say trade or sign Cutler but if we cant get him why not just take Josh McCown he is lighting it up in Chicago!!!
  6. Want to know when I knew the Bills were going to lose yesterday? At around 12:45. That is when I got the text update through the Bills mobile app, informing me that Frank Summers was inactive. Not having our FB active meant more of this BS and no lead blocker. The lead blocker and play action ahs worked for us all season, but 2 out of 3 games we don't use it at all.
  7. Here is my take: The NFL's rules are so messed up and everyone knows it, but Belicheat is one of the few coaches actually coaching to win by penalties. I guarantee you he coaches Brady to throw it over the middle into a too tight of a window so that the defense will legally hit the WR (and get an unnecessary roughness call). He tells him to throw it to covered receivers because he knows a covered receiver is one who will get a PI call. They under throw balls on purpose and all the WR has to do is look back for the ball and get 'impeded' by a DB and fall over and POOF! Pass interference!!! He also must pay off the refs so that they never call holding on his OL. Fact 2 Your team cheated its way to 3 super bowls
  8. I think you guys are forgetting two things: 1- HOw much Manzeil has improved this year, where last year he just ran around like crazy and made it work, he is now much more refined, but can still make those crazy plays. 2- How much wider the college field can be. If his hands are big enough I take him.
  9. There are simple too many judgement calls. Rules have to be black and white for officials not to mess it up. I have absolutely watched less of the NFL since all of these new pansy rules. Its not fun anymore when 1/2 of a teams scoring drive is crap penalty yards or the only way to stop the other team is let them get crap penalty. I would much rather see the NFL come out with some new technology where a bright light on the QBs helmet illuminates when a D player two hand touches him - and he is sacked. You can't even fart near a QB without getting a penalty these days - let it be 2 hand touch already. Of just give them flags, I would rather see that then this crap. And don't get me started on replay or defenseless receiver. Why even review a call when they don't even get it right after the review? Why should a D player just let a WR catch a ball in the endzone without hitting him legally in the should with your shoulder (Browns/Pats) And yes - the Refs absolutely gave that game to the Patsies the same way they gave them the Saints game and a hundred other games. Ironically those where two good calls though. Just like America
  10. I'm not much of a Homer when it comes to penalties, the Roby call should have been offensive interference. The Roughing the Passer call on EJ was also a total freaking joke. So much so that the ref made up for it by calling another total freaking joke of a RTP call on Mario on the next series.
  11. They have been doing that a lot actually. I would like to see the stats for where Mario is lined up on his sacks. I feel like all of them come when he is lined up on the left side.
  12. All I know is, if you spy your way to 3 super bowls, and the only punishment is a 500k fine and losing a 1st round pick, AND THE NFL HELPS YOU COVER IT UP BE DESTROYING THE EVIDENCE!!!! - then you are going to be encouraged to do it again, because the reward for cheating outweighs the punishment 10,000:1. Now if Belicheat were given the 'Pete Rose Punishment', and banned from the NFL for life, and the Patsies had to forfeit their tarnished championships, then I guarantee they wouldn't be cheating again. FWIW - I don't believe they ever stopped cheating, and they OBVIOUSLY get help from the refs every single week. Broncos Pats of 9 days ago - ANYONE!?!?!?! The Saints earlier this year???? The McKelvin fumble game anyone!?!?!
  13. Trade Stevie to the pats or broncos or packers and watch him catch 100 balls for 15 TDs and the bills fans who wanted him traded will be screaming that the bills are dumb for trading him. Same thing already happened for lynch. How many stats do u want the guy to have when he has had bulbs AF qb his entire career? He fumbled for the same reason chandler fumble - the bills are cursed loser franchise who will always find a way to lose.
  14. Actually no, we lost before that. When we accepted that penalty, and it was 3rd and 16 instead of 4th and 1 at the goal line, I knew right then and there we lost the game. I knew that the bills would somehow allow a TD on The next play in the most embarrassing fashion possible - and they did. I don't care that it was a bad call, it was laughably predictable that the falcons would score. If Marrone was a bills fan then he would have seen this sad ending before, just like all of us have, and he would have declined that penalty like a smart person would have.
  15. I am already being pushed to more of a casual fan by all of the rule changes, and the perpetual sucking makes me loath the bills more than love them. I would not follow a rolacated team. They would no longer be the bills. I might as well root for the fish or pasties if they moved - and I will do neither of which. I would likely only watch college ball. If I did watch the NFL I would prob just follow my favorite players and let a.teamwin me over that way. Maybe the seahawks because of lynch and r Wilson and theg actually win or whatever team kiko goes to after the bills are too cheap to resign him.
  16. Regarding drafts - I can't help but think that if we only drafted gronk over troup, we would have won yesterday, and v kc and cincy and the browns. That's four games with only one player. There are tons of other players we are missing and those missed picks are still affecting us. Hopefully waley can get 4-5 more kikos in the next draft
  17. Think of it like this, If you are tip-toeing down the right sideline, with the ball in your right hand, the ball is actually out of bounds on a vertical plane. However, the runner is not called down, he is allowed to advance the ball. If the runner then runs into the end zone, it is a TD. Its the same concept. Because Manuel's feet/any other body part were still in the field of play, the ball can still be advanced even though, on a vertical plane, it is out of bounds. This happens with catches all the time (players reaching for balls and tip-toeing the goal line. The only time this is not true is when spotting a punt. The pylon simply marks the goal line.
  18. Maybe that is because they havent made the playoffs since I was in the 5th grade and will have another top ten pick in this years draft. I mean seriously, we have one more win than Jacksonville. Let that sink in for a minute. Ralph is lucky he sells out the season opener with this 14 year track record.
  19. The games where he was injured and didnt play?
  20. All they need to do to do that is win some games. Fire the marketing dept and make the playoffs and ticket sales would increase.
  21. I keep telling people that 1st round running backs are a waste, especially high ones. I think AP is the only RB in the last decade to really warrant his draft status. You could argue Chris Johnson but he hasn't been consistent enough for me. Trent was always over rated. 4th overall? What a joke. Remember when Jim Brown said he wasn't very good and people called him a grumpy old man? I do.
  22. Why does overtime have to be a sudden death scenario? Why not just play out a full quarter? That's how basketball does it and it would be fine for the NFL. If 15 extra minutes is too long, shorten it to 10 or 12, that's what the NHL does. All problems solved. I didn't like the old rules but these new ones sure isn't a 'solution' to the problem.
  23. A friend of mine was on that team, he actually filmed the entire event, and his camera was confiscated by police. They still charged the team anyways, and he never did get his camera back. Outside of that event, I have seen first hand intoxicated women be all about it one night, and then the next day or weekend try to claim they were assaulted. So forgive me if I am a septic here, but two sworn affidavits seem to clear the kids name. If it truly is assault, then it should be made a deal right then and there, not weeks or months later. Besides, right or wrong kids like Winston get chicks throwing themselves at them night and day. I have a hard time believing he has to assault someone for some action.
  24. Jets are way down the list at 28. I thought they were supposed to have a good defense?
