Watkins play was saying enough. He didnt believe in EJ and I cant blame him.

I really think we can get 3 wins. MN has a rookie QB who we will have film on, and hopefuly AP is still benched. The Jets are awful and we always seam to beat them on the road. I think Det is the Patsies are winnable games and I think we go 1-1 vrs them teams. We need a huge home crowd for Oct 12.

Sam Bradford Tears ACL - Out for the Season
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bradford has legitimate upside if he can stay healthy. He could be a great backup too if we do draft a stud. Sometimes players need a fresh start - Carson Palmer, Randy Moss, etc. I would much rather have Bradford on the roster next July, rather than EJ -

Now if only NY would allow Billions to flow into the South Tier!! -
I am hoping that Orton's style will get us to run more from under center, and then give us some legit play action opportunities. Running out of the shotgun only has been killing us. Use the FB and pound the ball. Then do some bootlegs and roll outs. Orton should be fine with those plays.

Spiller is not nearly as good as Freddie. Freddie may not be the best player on the team, but he is the best player on the O

Why I think Marrone should be fired...
peterpan replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, the difference is that EJ is most likely done with the Bills, and the NFL, for good. Its refreshing knowing (or maybe I am hoping?) that I wont have to sit through 28 more game of EJ manual football over the rest of this season and next. Its refreshing to have a coach with the Balls to pull a terrible QB when they see it, and not sink the entire team because you are stubborn. Saying they should stick with a terrible QB because they used to think he was good is foolish. He stinks. What you gave up for him is already gone - we cant go back and un-draft him, so just deal with your current predicament and bench him. They did and that is very refreshing. -
Absolutely. Kyle Orton is what Fitz is. They are not great. They are below average, but they are still in the top 32 of QB's in the NFL. You want to replace them because they aren't superstars. Your team moves on from them because they aren't young. But they are still in the league because they are in the top 32 and can come in and give your team a chance to win; which is something EJ hasn't been doing this year.

An average Pats* team is finally showing Tom Bradys true colors - and it aint pretty!!

Why I think Marrone should be fired...
peterpan replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why do people always say this? EJ has terrible footwork, a timid and jerky throwing motion, and horrific accuracy. Are those not 'physical tools'??? Or do you just mean he is big and tall? Well there are lots of big and tall people that are not NFL Quarterbacks. -
Why I think Marrone should be fired...

I dont think 'he' selected him however, the fact that Marrone can admit when a QB stinks, and move one, is SOOOOO REFRESHING. I'm sick and tired of watching Losman Trent Holcomb etc get 2-3 times as many starts as they deserved. The ONLY thing EJ has done to deserve a starting spot is get drafted in the 1st round - and even then I think the Bills are the only team in the NFL stupid enough to take him that early. There is absolutely NO reason to leave EJ in there. None. -
Hey Marrone - Start Bryce Brown!

Im just glad we traded our best WR for a 4th string RB who is inactive on game days. Nice move, Whaley -
Does EJ stink then too?
-
hacketts plays aren't even being executed so how can you possibly blame him? his hands are tied by a terrible QB so he is babying the QB. its obvious.
-
Did it ever occur to you, or anyone for that matter, that EJ was holding back our OC? Thats how I always felt. How can you honestly grade an OC when EJ is so bad?? If you weren't convinced after those 14 games I dont think another 14 was going to help your evaluation
-
Actually, I think Orton gives us the best chance to make the playoffs. Much better than EJ at least. Unfortunttely the idiots at OBD actually thought we were a Sammy Watkins away from the SB and gave away our shot at a QB for next year. Couldnt agree more. EJ was a dud last year. We should have moved on in May by drafting EJs replacement then. Yes I will be. Another horrible mistake by this loser FO.
-
The Bills finally admitted what the rest of the NFL, and most Bills fans, already knew before he was drafted.............. EJ sucks and was never any good!! So the team that trades up for a WR - because they are 'ready to make a run at the SB' benches their QB 4 games into the season.... I feel like the only competent person in our Front Office is Marone. This is obviously what all the bickering with Whaley was about. Marone b*tching about how ****ty a QB Whaley drafted and stuck him with. Woof

I agree completely with the OP, specifically with Watkins. He has looked this way since the Opener and its obvious to me that they KNOW the QB stinks and it IS affecting their play. Remember when it was obvious with TO and Trent? Same thing here. Time to start Orton. The AFC East is completely up for grabs this year. Screw giving EJ more time its obviously a total waste of time. The Bills are the last team in the league that can afford another playoff-less season.

http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/170911-mea-culpa-on-chandler/#entry3254396 It seems there are more Gronks and Graham types out there than some fans would want to believe. -
I volunteer to do Goodells job of randomly assessing fines and suspensions for 1% of Goodell's current salary.

If only we took Ngata and KW in the same draft :-( -
Stats can be misleading however, in this case they are confirming what our eyes are seeing. Ej is holding this team back, he doesn’t seem to be improving, and its not good.

Sammy admitted to taking a play off in the 4th qtr

I saw that play. He obviously short armed it and didnt want to lay out for an inaccurate pass over the middle. Considering how EJ got Goodwin crushed I can't really blame him. -
Is Tom Brady on the Decline - Beginning of the End ?
peterpan replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has been declining for a few years. No one has mentioned it but the Pats have gone to a run heavy O the past few seasons and built their roster that way. They have been going to a Brady-manage-the-game style for some time
