Roughing the passer on Hughes - weak call and would not have been flagged if it was Orton IMO. Offsides on Wynn - He wasn't off sides and it negated a fumble recovered by the Bills inside the 20 yard line. Easily a 10-14 point swing. The Bills lost by 15. And how many OBVIOUS holding calls did NOT get called on NE? They hold more than any team I have ever seen and they are never flagged for it. Any time the Bills get a long run, its called back due to holding. I dont think I have ever noticed that happen to the Pats.

Maybe I post as multiple posters.... And I dont just mean on this board...

Seriuosly, Why Can't Coaches Challenge Penalty Calls?
peterpan replied to patfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
College football doesn't have the bad officiating the NFL does. Quite frankly, I do believe its deliberate. -
Can we start the Rex Ryan watch?
peterpan replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The pats shut our run game down whereas the Jets had freight train sized holes and a running back who actually ran through them. There D is always great. -
I cant exactly tell from the photo you posted, but if the ball is under the 2nd and goal, then the pass would not have gone past the line of scrimmage and should have been Int. Grounding. PS it is funny to see this board finally realizing this stuff. I have been saying it for 10 years. No one ever agreed with me until this year.

that is more reason for it to be challengable. -
Bills Working Out Kouandjio at Guard

"PFF ranks rookie left guard Cyril Richardson fourth from the bottom and right guard Erik Pears dead last." I knew Richardson was playing better than Pears!! Incongnito and Urbik would fix this line in two weeks -
Bradford will be cut. No team will pay his contract, not even the Rams, especially if this Austin Dvis charactor keeps playing as well as he is. I would really like to take a flyer on him, not at his current contract, but on a new one, absolutely.

Not Cleveland related but is there any chance the Skins look to move RG3?? Its possible. I also see Bradford available.

Anybody see the Offensive PI call in the Rams game?
peterpan replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does the NFL ever fire refs?? Because they certainly need to. -
The Rams O was great last night. I went to bed in the 1st half but it was awesome. The running plays. the play action, the bootlegs. The Bills need to copy that game plan because it would work well with our team. Schetnheimer was the OC. He has been doing some good work with an unknown QB. I was impressed. I cant speak for the 2nd half because I went to bed, but the Refs totally screwed the Rams at the end of the half, basically directly causing a 10 or maybe even 14 point swing in the final 2 minutes. A BS offensive PI call negated a long third down conversion, which put the Rams in FG territory, and instead forced a punt, which lead to the 9ers scoring a TD with 14 seconds left in the half.

Give him flags for us to pull and signal him down then.

Time to shake things up on offense.

Put Spiller out at WR. Then motion chandler out wide[r] to that same side, leaving Spiller in the slot. Then depending on how they the D lined up, we could throw a bubble screen to spiller with Chandler blocking a much smaller DB. OR we could throw a jump ball to Chandler and let him use his size against a smaller and shorter defender. Watkins could also be out there instead of spiller. We could also line M Williams up tight to the tackles, more like a TE would line up, and hope to get him a mismatch on a slower linebacker. Or we could steal the Rams exact plays from last nights 1st half and run all of those. Just some ideas for Hacket. -
Stevan Ridley, Jerod Mayo out for year for Pats

Karma for the reffing? -
When are people, NFL coaches included, going to nptice that the Pats do this all day eevery day. I was sitting next to a pats fan at teh game. When they fumbled, he said "well, I guess they will just heave it to the end zone for a jump ball" I looked at him like he had three eyes. He slearly didnt even watch him own team! I said "Dude seriously? The are going to run one of your little white dudes on a 5 yard out and one of the CBs will give him a huge cushion and they will complete an easy pass to get in FG range" Then that is exactly what happened. The Pats have been doing this to every team in the NFL for over a decade. 3rd and 3, they do it. End of the half, they do it. And D coordinators have like, no idea its coming. I just dont get it.

Which is also why we should have drafted him over Troup -
Interesting whispers around the league

Well according to many, the Bills roster is quite good, and young. While not perfect, I do think our talent will draw interest from some good coaches. Think of KC a few years back when Reid took over. -
Whaley is really being a D*** here. He traded away a #1 WR for a 4th string running back who hasn't been active all year. So he can go suck on a D***
-
O yea because Torrell Troup has filled such a nessecary hole in our front 4. Please do this. I have been lobbying for someone to start doing this. We need to draw attention to this. Its gone way too far.
-
Please, if you can, put these clips together in a you tube video. Point out the players in the replays and show the double standard. We as fans need to make this an issue. The public outrage surrounding Ray Rice's suspension of two games led to him being suspended indefinitely. If we can draw attention to this then maybe there will be change. PS: the replacement refs were better, because they were at least equally bad

Aaron Williams gets us a lot closer yesterday.
peterpan replied to qblax16's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its a trade off. Our run D wouldn't be nearly as good as it is without Torrell Troupe out there clogging running lanes. -
Harbaugh was my first choice before he went to San Fran.

I am calling BS. Not that there wasn't a flag, but the fact that it was so hush-hush after such a huge play, that could have won the game for the Bills, is a bit fishy. It makes me think there wasn't any infraction, the zebras just knew they had to do something to ensure a Pats* win, sop they did.
-
Yes, the same thing did happen last week. No flag mentioned on the TV. No shot of the ref calling the penalty. Just silence and a first down for the other team....
-
No, different play. What was the penalty? I didn't see any flags on the field and the ref sure didn't announce it over the PA system, like they do for every other penalty ever called.
