I know this shouldn't be the nature of my thinking but I got so used to losing that I don't mind saving some cap dollars after we take care of Byrd and Wood to maybe get a nice free agent pickup next year... I'm happy with our squad this year believe it or not... Looks like a completely different Bills team than we're used to that's for sure... We're young, we're fast, we've let go of baggage and kept the good players on the team... Almost everything that us as fans have asked for, the front office has provided... We got rid of the injury prone McGee who was just taking up space, FINALLY got rid of Kelsay, nomore Fitz, nomore Gailey and his spread offense, picked up a QB, got him some young fast weapons at receiver and got some decent free agents in here with Manny Lawson being my favorite... I believe that guy will surprise a lot of folks on here. This year is the 1st year I can say that a head coach of the Buffalo Bills really truly deserves 3 years on the job to determine what he does to this franchise... He doesn't deserve to get his head chopped off if this year ends up being a losing season with all the new players and young guys we've added... If he can turn some of these young guys we drafted into starters and make last year's starters better than they ever were, then this guy is a keeper and it will show in about 2 or 3 years... Getting back to the topic at hand, I say focus using cap space on players we already have and like and leave the rest for next year...

I just think that for the first time, in a very long time, our offense as a whole and especially the O-Line are seeing a decent defensive scheme with pressure coming from all over the field which may be the reason for the O-line having issues picking up blitzes and protecting the QB... I may be wrong but if that IS the case then with every practice that will make the O-line more alert and with every practice they will get more accustomed to tricky defenses and will only make us THAT much better as an offense... Oh and it also could mean that we just may have an outstanding defense for a change...

Every year there are new born again "Billievers"... I was a Billiever last year going into the season then I woke up to reality while I was being Boo'd entering Jets stadium week 1 and being congratulated as I left to beat traffic in the 3rd Quarter... But I do like EJ a lot for what it's worth and HE in my opinion has to earn my trust and so does Coach Marrone, but Coach doesn't seem like he will disappoint... It's a breath of fresh air to have a coach like him honestly who's funny, knows the game and also has a no nonsense attitude about him...

From the sounds of things, Coach Marrone doesn't plan on having him run around like RG3 based on the interview... I don't think Kolb is any good IMO... i say if there's to be a "competition", may the best man win... The fans aren't always wrong... In this case though I put my trust in Marrone like I did Gailey his first year... If he chooses to start Kolb over EJ, then I'm all for it...

Every franchise in the NFL expects their 1st round draft pick to "start" and contribute from day one... EJ will start for sure... We are not the Patriots or Packers or Falcons who are set with their franchise QB... Of course Buddy and Coach Marrone will not just hand EJ the job and will say stuff like, "It's a competition", but we all know the fans want and will pay to see EJ start... At the end of the day it's a business and the best business decision they can make, is to start EJ... Talk done...

I know Searcy is a Bill ONLY because I'm a Bills fan... But let's ask our non Bills fan friends if they've ever heard of D'Norris Searcy... After we hear their answer (which will be a no) we then should ask ourselves, what has Searcy done for US lately? Nothing... If anyone gets cut, it's him...

I LOVE the Manuel pick, I'm VERY satisfied with the Woods pick, didn't know much about the Kiko pick but I'm from Queens, N.Y. and was born in 1978 so growing up we used to use the slang word kiko to refer to each other as friends... Used in an example: Yo wuttup Kiko? Nowadays would be like, Yo wussup dog, or what's good homie... So I like the Kiko pick based on his name only at this point and Goodwin is just a speed demon... Dude is Clark Kent in smallville running faster than the train kind of fast...
