  1. I was at the game when Everett went down. That was the worst I ever witnessed. Hate seeing injuries is right, especially after witnessing what I did. Let's also not forget to show Merriman respect for recruiting...
  2. Sometimes I don't understand jokes or posts on twobillsdrive with this one being one of them so I will just say that and never click on this post again. (Unless accidentally my finger touches it trying to open a post above or beneath it).
  3. Exactly. The Bills' commentators also are very fair... They never use words like "our" or "we" when describing the Bills' plays/players. But to your point, a game that was played at 8:00 on Friday night can easily be filled into your network sceduling anywhere between 12:00-6:00am (when they're not showing NFL Total Access) and if not at those times then anytime throughout Saturday... I don't know. Maybe I'm being sour. But maybe they're just wrong...
  4. Oh I see... Can't take defeat well I see...
  5. 2 days after the game was actually played is flat out disrespectful. They replay games that were live games once and some twice before they have the Bills game on Sunday.
  6. If instead of high fives in the stands we do Nathaniel Hackett chest bumps, then we'll be hip and cool...
  7. Our consensus (multiple personality) is to not have a consensus with this post idea...
  8. Our special teams on kickoffs and punts should be one kicker and 10 wide receivers... They'll be fair catching every single kick...
  9. You're allowed to ask Doug about Kolb's injury once. Once! We were too broke to buy a car... MTA got me where I needed to go... But look at me now mom...
  10. Yeah but why are you not 120% sure?
  11. Not at all dude... IF and ONLY if you're going to tip and you're a millionare celebrity, leave a damn decent tip and you won't make the news like how he did. In Brees's case, I think tipping nothing would have been better than 3 dollars is what I'm saying...
  12. For us, regular folk, tipping on carryout isn't expected and neither is it for celebrities. But, if you ARE a celebrity and decide you DO wanna leave a tip, then 3 dollars does actually seem pathetic. We're not talking about Wesley Snipes or Chris Tucker here who evade income taxes. We're talking a player in the NFL who still makes millions. When I was 15 working in my father's pizza shop, LL Cool J came and ordered a beef patty with cheese and coco bread. I believe the total was $3.25 at the time. He gave me 25 bucks, said thank you and left. I wasnt expecting a tip cuz just seeing him was cool enough but THAT was a decent tip.
  13. All of this excitement talk will be put to rest if Kolb is the starter...
  14. Well in my culture/religion (Turkish/Islam) when you get circumcised, whoever your parents choose to be your god parents to pay for the party is your god parents and your god parents children are now your god brothers and sisters...
  15. I'm 100% with Marrone on this one but the question to be asked is, how come you haven't reached out to the doctors about a very important player on your roster?
  16. As a member of the "started rooting for the Bills after the glory run in the 90's" club, I'd just like to say that the feeling is like,... Hmmm if I can put my emotions in a jar, it'd be like I couldn't move and stayed still like Bledsoe in the pocket mixed with a hint of losing myself in crucial moments like a travis henry, leodis mckelvin and roscoe parrish fumble mixed with a little bit of dying to show some emotion but am just so depressed and numb like a Dick jauron interview and/or on the sidelines mixed with a little bit of, at times thinking we can produce and play good ball or in Mike mularkey's case, think I can act n be the next kevin costner but really all we are is look alikes, mixed with a little bit of, working hard and sweating and bleeding for a better future and instead of investing in a new home (Franchise QB) I just settle living in the projects and paying cheaper rent (Kelly holcolm, Brian Brohm, Trent, Fitz (who actually got paid decent money and yes, I did just put paranthesis inside of paranthesis), Losman), which can lead to poor schooling in the neighborhood and can maybe get our car stolen or our house broken into which really means the investment didnt pay off... I can go on brother but take a nice sip of those emotions I just mentioned but also realize that those are the ONLY emotions you know yourself to have of the Bills (no glory days) and that's what rooting for the Bills after the glory days feels like.
  17. Yeah cuz the way I see it, what good are the WR's if Kolb is the QB... I'm not taking anything away from Kolb. He made it to the NFL for a reason. Im sure he has good qualities but as of now, my interest goes towards EJ. If we're to have another losing season, I'd rather it be with EJ...
  18. Believe me bro I know. I basically had 32 teams to choose from but my god brother is a die hard Bills fan and I remember rooting for tgem with him as a youngster so I chose to follow the Bills the first year we got Bledsoe and got hooked after that. Maybe cuz I love the underdog more than the favorite also. It's just been disappointing season after disappointing season for me. I want to know what it feels like to watch a Bills playoff game "live" and not on NFL replay of tge old days.
  19. This is the first year in my 12 years of being a Bills fan that it's almost August and I haven't purchased any tickets for Bills games at the Ralph. The excitement factor has died down after losing season afterlosing season. Watching and reading about the practices at St. John Fisher, I'm slowly getting excited again. The defense seems to be promising with Carrington starting strong early (as most of us expected) and that's without Mario and Kyle even in the lineup. Manny Lawson (I believe) will be the best outside linebacker we've had in a while and I also believe we upgraded by getting rid of Shep and trading for Hughes. No real news. Just wanted to share my slight excitement that im having and also I will say that I will not purchase any tickets unless EJ is the starter, or, if Kolb wins the starting role and shows that he can win some games... Im not wasting 500-800 hard earned American dollars to travel with my girlfriend to Buffalo (from Queens,N.Y) if we're not contenders anymore. (I'm starting to sound like u old farts who have been fans for 30 plus years). I've become numb to losing.
  20. He should just retire and spend whatever money he got left going to different cities and enjoy their "night life"...
  21. Ok got it... I can't believe the lack of respect for DT Alan Branch who will be wearing jersey number 90 on this board!
  22. I didn't even know there was a Branch on the team... Lawson I know and like very much... I have to look this guy Branch up and see why you guys are so disappointed... Damn this really IS a new team for me cuz usually this time of year I know all the players names and jersey numbers...
  23. I hope he doesn't have TOO much info on the basic playbook to give to whichever team he lands on (hopefully not a team in the AFC East). Thats one thing that becomes playing chess when releasing players. You have to teach them the playbook but not fully just in case they get released. Being a coach sure isnt fun when it comes to that cuz it's a business, not high school football where you know your players are there til the end.
  24. Like Jeremy said, they don't have the pads on yet so everybody looks upbeat and fast during practice... But I will say, I'm also drinking the Kiko Kool aid as of now... Hopefully the kid turns it up when the pads go on and keeps turning it up as training camp and preseason comes along...
