No one will give us a dime for Smith til he shows he's useful for something and for that to happen he needs playing time in the preseason and it doesn't seem like that's going to happen in week 3 with Johnson and Graham coming back. Releasing him is the only way he leaves the Bills.

I'm all for CJ being the starter. I absolutely love him. But it seems that you've forgotten that Fred is the type of back where he gets better and faster as the game goes along. You're not going to get a good assessment with watching him get 5 carries a game...

No need for concern. It's all muscle weight according to what he said. He's stronger, which is a good thing to be when you're the best pass blocking running back on the team.

The question we need to ask ourselves is, do we care if Rogers is cut/put on PS? I personally am satisfied going into the season with the 6 wide receivers you projected to have a roster spot. So to answer the question I asked above, the answer would be no. No I would not care if Rogers was cut/put on PS/picked up by another team. That would be greedy. Now on another note, if the Bills FO for some reason wanted to keep 7 wide receivers, then I would believe that it's a competition between Rogers and Kauffman. Brad Smith would cost too much to have as a backup so I honestly don't know why he's still on the team. All Brad Smith is good for at this point is to give away our gameplan to the Jets because when he gets cut, I believe that's where he'll land... EDIT: Brad Smith is a good player to have on special teams so I guess keeping him would actually be smart...

Preseason or not it's still a game... What's so wrong about going into overtime in a preseason match up? Doesn't it give you more chances to evaluate players? Ok then...

I'm definitely not the one with the answers to players' agents. I'm sure you're right and it IS parker but still. The player can easily tell his agent, ok man, I'm going back to training camp, whether his agent agrees or not... Might as well pick up the playbook and train with your teammates so you don't look out of place when the regular season starts.

Byrd is getting on my nerves at this point. Put that contract bull---t aside and join your team already. He's going to get paid what a tagged player gets paid anyway. How can you sit back and watch your team play as good as they are right now and not want to join them?

I agree with the pass/run balance we'll be having this year but I hope we pass more on 1st down. So far it seems like coaches like to run on 1st down all the time.

One thing I know for sure about us as Bills fans is that majority rules. The crowd boo'd Kolb every time he had a bad play. The noise level in the crowd tells me that they are EJ fans (as am I)...

These comments coming from a guy who scored a touchdown with over 4 minutes remaining to make the score 20-16 Bills and instead of going for an extra point to make the game a 3 point difference, decides to go for 2. I understand you don't want to go to overtime in preseason but come on. He clearly was trying to win. The Bills were trying to win also and we did. Wound licking dudes man. Ok now that we pretty much know Brady seems to be ok and will start week 1, I wonder if we lose to the Patriots, if all these guys who are posting stuff like I wanna beat the Patriots fair and square will be wishing he didn't start. You may not know what Kolb is but I know what he is... He's a QB who was in a competition last year with another QB on a team who neither of them are the starters for going into THIS season...

After watching the interviews on Bills mobile, I noticed a couple things. I first watched EJ's interview and his body language and face looked very disappointed in not starting which should be a good thing. Just shows the kid really really wants to play. Kolb's interview was next and all I heard was wah blah blah words nouns verbs adjectives wah blah blah. I wasn't really paying attention as you can tell and all I can think of was how much he looked like the lizards in the super mario bros. movie... Last I watched Coach's interview and he kind of looked irritated for some reason. Almost like EJ feeling disappointed was still in his thoughts. All I know is I'm liking what I'm seeing from EJ not just on the field but off it...

So I guess winning isn't important to you. Damn man. I see your point but aren't you tired of not making the playoffs? What bigger boost would it be for EJ to start 1-0 in his career? (I'm assuming EJ wins the starting job of course) I hope it's not a serious injury but I DO hope it keeps him from playing against us...
