Good thing Donahue isn't here anymore. He might have traded Byrd to ourselves and cost us a 2nd round pick. Maybe even a 1st... But seriously, I'm sure when he gets healthy he'll want to show the rest of the league how good he is so we can enjoy his talent for a few games if a trade takes place... Here's to going undefeated until he gets traded...

Oh and if we keep our 3rd down conversions to about 60%, we have a good shot at winning. The longer we have Brady on the sidelines, the more he gets frustrated...

Call Dexter and have him kill Brady will work. Ah whatever. It's week one. Worst case scenario, we lose and we're 0-1 with EJ getting a chance to redeem himself at home against the Panthers. Best case scenario - We Freakin' WIN! Edit - Let's not even say the word injuries please. Let's come out the game healthy and live to fight another day win or lose.

I just woke up to see the good news via text. I will be taking this game with a calm approach (maybe I'm not as excited cuz it's only Wednesday and I have work at 5 tonight), but I do believe that one advantage we have is EJ's athleticism. My only concern is also his athleticism. The kid can run but needs a better slide. Not a Tom Brady slide where he slides 10 yards before getting hit, but at least 3 yards. It's any given Sunday and I'm sure most of you don't think we have a shot at winning, but the truth is we got as much a chance as they do. They're missing Gronk, Welker and Hernandez. I'm sure Brady will have new best friends to throw to but I believe Marrone will have Pettine focusing on the D-line to get after Brady since our secondary is weak. Here's to going into the second half with the lead.

Definitely didn't say nor do I think to "give up" on A. Williams. Just that Leonard coming on the team, with knowledge of Pettine's style of defense, having been in the league for more than a couple of months and actually being a pretty decent safety, people still look for a reason to bash him. THAT to me is what's getting out of hand on TBD. I'm not saying we should all be celebrating like how we did the signing of Mario, but if Leonard signs, how is that a bad thing?

Some of you guys are just bi polar. When we release players and they do good on other teams, you say why did we ever let them walk. But when they come back you say, they better be coming back as a coach. Leonard can still play and how could you not want Leonard over Aaron Williams and Duke Williams and any other safety we have besides Byrd? I swear, some of you Bills fans man...

This dude Byrd needs to take a page out of the Kyle Williams book. My absolutely favorite player on the team is Kyle Williams cuz he REALLY REALLY gets upset if he can't play. If everyone on the team felt the way Kyle did this team would definitely go places. But, everybody is their own person and Byrd's injury is what it is. I think I just hate the business side of the NFL cuz I'm just not used to Bills players making the news about contractual disagreements much... I'm no doctor but I'm sure with all the technology we have these days it would be hard to fake an injury. So on that note I hope he gets better cuz unfortunately, we need him.

My thoughts exactly. If I were GM or head coach which im not, I would have kept Blatnick based on what I've seen in all four preseason games... Maybe they saw something else? Just doesn't make sense with how little depth we have at LB. Plus we don't know if we'll even have Bradham for the first couple of weeks...

Well we all know "wood is good" but limp at times. He's gotten injured every year. The least he owes is negotiating time... Levitre on the other hand should have been tagged or signed to long term... Byrd is on the balance beam. I understand where he's coming from but I also understand where the FO is coming from...

True but compared to everyone else we have besides Gilmore, Leo always covers well. Just can't locate and cover at the same time... This is definitely Marrone's team now... I believe EJ will either be his savior or demise... Everything is on that poor kid's shoulder now. Normally I'd be upset but EJ is or at least seems like the type of guy that likes this type of pressure. I know we suck at CB but if we can somehow get more pressure from the D-Line, I expect we'll have plenty of tip drills for linebackers and safeties to get interceptions... Damn them... Like it's not bad enough they got us eating meat with chemicals and drinking water with high aluminum, they hurt our team...

I wouldn't call it attacking. More like having a little fun from the truth of it... Haha... No one is safe...

How is Robey still on the team? We need to keep an eye on other team's cuts for CB, LB and offensive line help. The Legursky injury put us in a deeper hole than we were in... Haha... So true... Bless me father for I have sinned... 2 minutes in 3 hours... 2 hours and 58 minutes spent on finding the RIGHT scene and camera angle...

I drove to Met Life for the Bills Jets opener last year and after my experience at the parking lot I will NEVER drive there again. The train is the way to go. Stops right in front of the stadium. Jets fans don't seem to understand that tailgate means to set up your food and your beer at the tail of your car, not on two empty parking spots... That's why I like driving to the Ralph better cuz it's more organized and you usually have someone direct you on where to park...

Please don't... I used to be that way also. If I got a little too saucy (intoxicated off alcohol), we wouldn't do good and I would put my beer down for 30 minutes til I sobered up a bit then the team would do good. Until of course they turn the ball over then I start to drink again... No such feelings of superstition anymore... Oh except for that my friend Space isn't EVER allowed to come to my house to watch the Bills game cuz every time he does, we lose... Other than that I'm ok. No really I'm fine...

Well the only pattern that I'm noticing is we talk more about how bad our players are playing than players who are doing something good... THAT is a problem... McKelvin can barely speak understandable English and Byrd is "unhappy"... There's no George Wilson to give the secondary any veteran leadership... We have talented players but unfortunatelt they're either rookies and haven't developed yet or 2nd and 3rd year players who just don't have the it factor and are just solid backups at best... Seems every year we have issues... I just hope this "up tempo" offense doesn't go 3 and out and tire our defense throughout games which seems to be the most concerning to me on offense... I DO believe though that EJ and his legs will get us more 1st downs than Tuel and Kolb, so offense REALLY is in his EJ's hands this year. We all know CJ is going to break big runs and the wide receivers are quick. If the O-Line can give EJ four seconds to scan the field we should be alright on offense... The defense relies on the front 4 getting pressure on the QB consistentlt for this young secondary to even have a shot at being decent without Gilmore... Bills key to success for the first half of the season is basically the O-line needs to give EJ time and the front four on defense needs to get pressure on the QB... Obviously (In my best Marrone voice)

Not me... I'm not gunna travel from Queens to watch Brady destroy us... if EJ starts week 2 then I plan to go to the Carolina game...
