They can be disrespectful towards the Bills all they want cuz trust me, I can't hate that team any more than I already do. What I took from that game last night is exactly what I thought was the case when they played us. Amendola won that game for them. Without Amendola they scored 13 points. I don't remember the last time the Patriots scored 13 points on offense. This was the Jets' opportunity to take advantage of that but, Geno sucks. I'm so glad we took EJ over this guy. EJ's ypg numbers may not be great but he's definitely a much better decision maker...

Well it depends who you go with. If I go with my girlfriend I would be expecting a couple of, babe I'm hungries, babe I have to pees (at least 4 piss breaks) and when I've gone with her I've made it to Orchard Park from Queens in 7 hours. Since I'm going with another male chromosome, I'm expecting nomore than 2 bathroom breaks so as long as there's no unexpected accidents (car crash, diarrhea, speeding ticket etc.) 6 and a half hours at a average of 70-75 mph is very accurate. Damn... that would be an average of 85-95 mph the whole way. Coming back to Queens usually takes 7 hours cuz of stadium traffic going home and being very close to rush hour. Two things. I'm absolutely afraid of flying (I almost threw up on that small swing ride that goes round and round at amusement parks so imagine how I'll feel on a plane) and two, flying may be cheaper but then I gotta pay for a cab from the airport to the stadium and a cab back to the airport and also another cab fee going to laguardia back and forth from my house. Plus the scenery is great. It feels good to see something else besides apartment buildings. Going to Long island is the closest thing I feel to getting away from the city. Haha... The H3's lease was up 3 years ago. Now I'm in a Jeep Grand Cherokee (which is not that much greater on gas). Haha. Nah this guy is definitely nowhere near that type of attitude. I didn't meet him recently. I met him about 3 or 4 years ago and we shoot texts to each other during games every week like oh my God Spiller's a BEAST or oh my God good old Sh-tzpatrick back at it again and stuff like that but we never actually sat down together and watched a game together. He lives in Yonkers and me in Queens plus he's a family man like myself. Can't really go out every weekend and leave the kids behind you know? But you're right about the NYC state of mind where people who just meet do crazy stuff like go on trips and that kind of stuff. Me personally, I have enough "friends" and as you can tell I use that word lightly cuz it's hard to sustain friendships for more than 10 years out here for some reason. This is not really a situation like yo this guy is going to be my best friend, but more of a, he's never been to a game ever and I wanted him to experience that. I have friends that are Giants fans that would have easily made the trip with me but I wanted to go with a fellow brother who I know for SURE is going to lose his voice like I am... In their defense, I think they come across like A-holes cuz they were raised to not trust anybody. I have no excuses for this new generation because NYC is one of the safest places to live now a days. But growing up in the 80's here (I was born in 78), I couldn't even go trick or treating past 7 o'clock cuz the crime was so bad. I've seen people get stabbed, shot, countless fights (with weapons) and overall you just had to have tough skin. Students nowadays going from NYC to syracuse and acting like A-holes have no excuse to act that way. Gotta put the blame on their parents for that one.

I've been flying low on people's radar cuz I don't know if you've heard but, we've kind of sucked for a while. But whenever the Bills-Jets game gets closer is when people want to roll their windows down at a red light and (let's just call it chit chat)...

I just saved a bunch a money ordering tickets on StubHub. The good news is that I'm on a 3 game winning streak when I go to the Ralph to watch a game. I think it's ever since I bought a custom made Go Bills jersey with the number 1 on it. I will do laundry on Friday and make sure I go with the fresh smell before ketchup and beer becomes the new aroma. I'm going with a Bills fan here in Queens. We're driving up there and driving right back the same day so 13 hours of driving BETTER result in a win at least. Side note: The way I met this guy was another story. My car (H3 at the time) was decked out in Bills accesories (Mud flaps, decal, and logo stuck with velcro on front dash. So this dude approaches me and asks me if I'm a Bills fan (stupid question I know) but there's not much of us here in Queens so I cut the guy some slack and I say yeah blahzey blah and we been keeping in touch and sending texts to each other during games every week but we've never actually hung out and watched a game together. Now I'm about to spend 13 hours in a car with this dude. He's been a fan longer than me and has never been to a game. I had the extra ticket so I asked him if he wants to go as long as he chips in for gas and tolls and here we are. I hope to see you guys there man. I'm hyped to go to the game and even more excited that I can give this dude a memory of going to Buffalo. Lets Go Bills!

So I'm guessing after reading that, Spiller will be held to a non existent game again huh? I guess we gotta roll wit Freddy this week. After week one it's easy to say that we're worried about Carolina's D after the way they held Marshawn to 43 yards but I will agree with you and put the focus on their offense. If we can stop their offense and start from good field position, that to me is key.

That final drive with over 5 minutes that everyone is talking about needed to be executed like this: Offer to get Fitz back on the team for a 5th round pick, have Fitz manage the huddle, break the huddle, have EJ line up next to him in the shotgun as a tailback, Fitz brings the snap clock down to 0.1 seconds every play, tosses the ball backwards to EJ and EJ plays quarterback THAT way... It's simple man... DAMN! Well the only problem I see in there is the highlighted part... Over 5 minutes left starting beyond the 20 is not that much time for a regular drive in the NFL. A team who was running the ball good could have easily ran for 6 yards, then another 6, then another 5, then another 4, then break one for 11. All of that happening while the clock is moving. Also throw in a couple of 0 yard gains that will also milk the clock. There wouldn't have been enough time on the clock left if we were succesful in the run game, which we weren't. It's sad to say but Gailey's slant route, screen plays would have worked best in that drive with all the 2 yard passes that Gailey would call...

Why not 0-0?

The pain is sinking in now. The loss didn't hurt that much after the game but I still gotta say I feel good about this team's future with EJ. Gotta put it behind us and focus on Carolina (which is not a gimme game at all). By Wednesday the pain should go away...

I'll start with negatives just to not end on an end note. Negatives: 1. Fred was moving the chains yet not given the chance to play the last series. 2. Stevie dropping that 2 yard pass which would have got us a 1st down and killed time. 3. Speaking of killing time, hurrying up the offense when Marrone should go in to clock management mode. 4. Spiller not looking comfortable and looked jittery and nervous. 5. Not enough disguise in blitzes in the 2nd half which seemed to work in the 1st half, 6. Penalties. I mean damn. 7. I just want to put clock management on this list one more time Positives: 1. Defense looked pretty damn good. One of the more hard hitting Bills defenses I've seen in a while 2. EJ looked very comfortable and mature. Very confident 3. Freddy looks like he's back and healthy. 4. Robey actually surprised me and looked decent out there. 5. Kudos to Alonso and Brooks. Played a heck of a game 6. Won the turnover battle and got pressure on Brady. All in all I believe we have a lot to be happy about and look forward to. The only set back is that this week was the week to beat New England while they are still rough. As the season goes along his young receivers will learn the Brady way and they will be a tougher team to play down the road. We're 0-1 and last place in the AFC East but New England plays the Jets on Thursday so one of those teams will lose and Miami may go down also. With a win next week we can move up to 3rd place and so on.

Jets won by a miracle... Bills officially 4th place in AFC East... Miami won also... Next week is our time to turn this thing around...

This thread keeps popping up. I totally agree that it may be offensive and all that good stuff, but week one is approaching. This thread should be buried somewhere until the Bills pick up a native American player via trade, free agency or draft...
