My guess is it would be Brooks. Robey is quick but can't really get close enough to the QB... Brooks is just as fast and stronger... I doubt coach dials up a blitz for Byrd at all... Gilmore may see some action in blitzes also but my guess is Brooks and Robey will have the most opportunities...

I'm one who doesn't believe in curses and things of that nature. You're right about missing pieces to the puzzle though. If we have a good DC, our OC sucks. If both of them suck, we have a good ST coach. Gilmore out Rogers in. Gilmore back, EJ out... It's just unfortunate. Training has to be key. And if there ARE any who believe in curses and things of that nature, then the problem is in the sidelines. That midget guy we have on the sideline would need to be realeased cuz he is a troll...

He definitely sucked. But the real problem isn't the punter, it's that we're always Punting. I'm also going to finally say, cut Rogers. Not like I was a fan or anything. I saw how he got burned for weeks in a row. But last night, right before Hoyer got hurt, I swear I could see Hoyer trying to locate where Rogers was and when he found him, did a quick playaction slant pass and burned Rogers. I was one of the ones saying to cut Robey after his preseason performances and Marrone made me look like a fool on that one cuz Robey is playing pretty damn good right now. Therefore I held on judging Rogers, thinking Marrone sees somethiong that I don't in practice. But Rogers just flat out can't play in the NFL. Maybe he'll look good on a ghreat team, kind of how Whitner looks in SF with a good cast around him but he's not going to cut it when HE'S the one we need making plays...

I now see what every coach and the people in the "business" say about EJ and his persona just being infectious... You can't help but love the guy and root for him. But, damn he still got a ways to go. It always seems to take him 2 quarters of a football game to start getting in to rhythm. In this case, unfortunately, right when things were looking up, he got hurt...

I definitely was not a fan of the pink flags... It's bad enough we have to wear pink 5 games this year. How much more pink do they want to add? We get it. We all feel that Breast Cancer Awareness is a positive way to assure women that they aren't alone in the fight, but a simple pink ribbon on the helmets, jerseys and sidelines can also show support.

They had 8 or 9 players on the box but they were blitzing them on almost every down. Screen passes work great on a blitz if the screen is thrown to the side of the blitz...

I'm sure there's a decent soccer player out there that can be taught how to kick an American football... Preferably a goalie. They kick a round soccer ball from one goal to the other which is about 80 yards I believe. I'm sure he can kick a football at least 60 yards with major hang time...

When I saw McKelvin back there about to return a punt, I was like wow, McKelvin told Marrone to put him in and I swore he would take it to the house... My sixth sense was off today. I was more confused than Tuel was today. I looked at Stevie in pain, yet didn't see how he got hurt. I saw our coach get flagged (for throwing a flag) and I had a "HUH?" moment. I saw our QB get hurt and was worried but then saw him jogging on the sidelines and riding the stationary bike and said to myself, ok Tuel will finish this drive and then we'll get EJ back on the field. Yet I saw EJ walking to the locker room and I saw Aaron Williams get beat on two long passing plays and instead of being upset at the WR catching the ball, I was upset at AW being used as CB...

I've often heard players say, I went to the locker room, got a "shot" and went back out there... What is that injection that players get and in EJ's case, would it have helped?

Yeah I'm sorry but that two hurt RB's comment is wrong... Were they dinged up? Sure... Did it stop Freddy from breaking a couple tackles? Did it slow CJ down on the 54 yard run? No... The WR not being on the field was obviously the reason why the passing game got thrown off a bit and the crucial one was EJ going down and Tuel not being ready. Weeden didn't even take a practice rep in 2 weeks according to the analysts after the game and was throwing the ball pretty decent once he shook the rust off... Tuel on the other hand has been taking practice reps since minicamp and looked like Mark Sanchez on a bad day...

And he has 1 catch last week against the Ravens for -1 yards and doesn't complain like the diva some people make him out to be and is happy to just come out that game with a W. Guy's horrendous.

"Pettine's way" looks good on 3rd and shorts but gets converted on, on 3rd and longs... What does that really say about the D? That being said, it's BECAUSE of the defense that we even won 2 games... I'm so disappointed with this even being a close game. Offense is killing us...

Eh. You're just trying to make me like him again. I'm going to stay stubborn on this one and HATE him... To me he's Tyrd til he proves otherwise. He will need to have success on the field (as a Buffalo Bill of course) and have 31 believable postgame/pregame/during the week interviews (in a row) for me to like him again...

September was Hispanic Heritage Month where they do the whole Fútbol Americano thing and I'm sorry, I know it's supposed to sound funny when the soccer announcer who yells Goooooooool says Touchdooooowwwwwn but, it sounds corny to me. And I'm all for the NFL showing support to Breast Cancer in October but wearing all that pink is something I'm not a big fan of grown men wearing. This year it will be 5 games played in pink. That's too much pink I'm sorry...
