  1. Marrone said he doesn't lie though...
  2. Mario most DEFINITELY earned his paycheck today... Now pay the man!
  3. I have nothing to add to this topic. I just wanted to type something anywhere just so I can reach my 1000th post... Carry on...
  4. This is Pettine in the making this game. If the defense shows up we gotta good shot at taking this...
  5. I honestly don't care if Lynch succeeds or fails. Now Donte on the other hand. I wish nothing BUT losing seasons for him. But we all see how my wishes are coming along. Same goes for McGayhee. Loved the guy at first, we took a chance on him, healed him up, got him to start and the boy wants to leave cuz of Buffalo not having a night life or whatever. With all that money you can turn your house into a club any night you want. I never understood that about athletes. Why go out and risk drunk driving and getting caught, when you could throw nice parties in your own house. Instead of "poppin bottles" in the club at like 300 bucks each, you can buy 6 bottles of Moet. I don't know.
  6. Much appreciated. Thank you sir.
  7. I just want to call dibbz on this being my avatar...
  8. There's always one handed interceptions. So it's not a zero chance. More like 15%
  9. Being his teammate is not enough, so Marcus Easley has decided to play defense just to be on the field with Kiko.
  10. Or should he not. False, no wait. I meant to say True. True true. I'm going with true on this one.
  11. I think where the real frustration comes in, is how bad the AFC as a whole is this year except for Denver being the favorite. Kansas City is doing big things with changes in only a few player positions and with 1 head coach. The second wild card spot is there for the taking this year and we sit at 2-4 when we could easily had been 5-1 or 4-2... The injuries and everything else suck I get it, but if we were 4-2 now, we wouldn't be posting blame threads all over TBD. In a weird scenario, we can still make a push for that Wild card spot but we would have to win 4 out of the next 6 games for that to even be a conversation. If our record is 6-6 by the time EJ comes back, then maybe we can talk about closing out the season with 4 wins in a row. The last one being against NE. And honestly, if we go 4-2 in the next 6 games, I don't know if Marrone would even put EJ back in. It's a weird situation.
  12. If only we (the organization) knew JJ Watt would be the way he is. Man. The guy is a beast. But we got Dareus and we have to live with it. We all see with Kiko how a good LB can make a defense better in ways. If we had another solid LB, I believe teams wouldn't be able to rush on us and then Dareus' pass rushing ability will come to light then. But until then, we'll never know...
  13. Stephon Gilmore with both hands amputated > Justin Rogers
  14. Kiko has problems getting his girlfriend pregnant. The sperm never make it to the egg. They fight to the death in the uterus.
  15. No, they're finally safe now. Now our targets are Justin Rogers and Colin Brown. Damn Colin Brown just got cut. I say now it's Justin Rogers and Hackett are the primary targets.
  16. I say this out of respect. Can we please stop underestimating our opponents week after week please? There were people saying how the Jets suck this, and Cleveland sucks that and made threads about how we're going to demolish them. I'm not saying let's enter the game with fear, but at least give our opponents the respect they deserve. Especially our divisional opponents since we can't EVER beat them. I don't look at overall records cuz each game is a new game with new players, but the Dolphins literally own us in the overall record. To even the score with them we would need to sweep the regular season series with them for about 10 years straight. Then again, I may be out my mind who knows? I went in to the Jets game and Cleveland game confident that we were going to win and pretty damn worried about the Ravens game and look how those turned out. If that is a sign for prediction, then I'll have you guys know that I'm pretty worried about the Dolphins. D. Marrone doesn't cost us a needed timeout for challenging something that's unchallengable. E. Rogers is inactive F. Thad doesn't get happy feet G. Kiko doesn't have to play all linebacker positions on the same play and actually gets some OLB help.
  17. I'm not going into statistics. I've made that mistake once before. I'd rather look at a more simpler look at things. Here's the simple evaluation. If you take Kyle Williams off this team, the teams' defense gets worse. Plain and simple folks. Kyle Williams is one of the better players we have on this team but I don't need to sell you on that. The guy is a beast and ABSOLUTELY hates to lose. If every guy in the locker room thought like Kyle, we'll be pulling more wins than losses. Trust me on that. This Dareus pick is looking more and more like an unfavorable one. I thought the defensive line was going to be impenetrable once we drafted him but, not the case. I still love the guy for WHO he is but I would rather have another Kyle Williams type to replace him if that adds any sense to the whole "is Kyle the problem" thread.
  18. Haha... Body language my friend. Body language.
  19. I'm fine with Marrone at head coach. What really has my eyes open is the shots we're taking downfield. Marrone said to us that one thing about him is that he's a straight shooter and will tell us the way things really are. He said that with EJ, they had plays called for him where his 1st option was to take a shot down the field, yet, EJ is known for little dunk passes and checkdowns. But Thad on the other hand, is taking shots down the field. Could it be that EJ is the one scared to throw down the field vs. Hackett not calling a play where he CAN throw down the field?
  20. I think Kyle is one of the few players we have in this team that gets in players' faces after dirty plays (which I'm a fan of). CJ likes to talk to players after plays too but I'm not a fan of the way CJ does it. It's more of just trash talk with him and I'm not a fan of that. I wanna be the team that's aggressive with tackling and in a pile full of bodies is where I want us to be the intimidators so the opposing team plays with hesitation instead of confidence.
  21. Good find. I definitely DO remember that game and many others where Byrd (Mr. Ballhawk) just doesn't play well against the run. Maybe it was the fact that it was his first game back. Who knows? Oh and don't get me wrong. When I saw him raise his hands up to try to get the crowd to scream louder on defense, I absolutely felt nothing but love for the guy. I'm definitely not a "trade Byrd now" poster. I want him to stay a Bill. But I also want him to play better against the run.
  22. Hold his own? I agree somewhat. He did have great coverage I'll give you that, but I still have a problem with him playing too far off the receiver at times. I'm not sure if the coach tells players to play receivers with distance so I don't know if McKelvin is to be given any blame honestly. I thought when we blitzed, we were effective at times. When Cincy blitzed, we burned them for two TDs. I'm just upset at the run defense. I thought we did awesome in run D leading up to this game. Funny how when Byrd comes back, the run D problems of last year come back to haunt us.
  23. Not meaningless if you live in Queens. Seeing them lose is GREAT!
  24. Yeah and what's the chances he gets fired? Zero! Which is why Marrone and Hackett will sink together... Honestly I'm getting tired of Marrone starting every press conference with the word "obviously". Show some damn emotion after a loss man. Exit Marrone. Enter Tom Coughlin...
