  1. In that case we should just play backyard football and in the huddle, EJ should say, ok guys just get open. ..
  2. Play 13 gotta go... it has everybody stopping and turning at the same yard and distance. I know it's not accurate but if it is, then Hackett gotta go for even drawing up a simple play like that.
  3. Yea but maybe he's like the Asian kids I went to school with. The teacher would be checking attendance and call out Shum Lee Wing Jong and the kid would say, present, but call me Peter.
  4. Picking up my ps4 Thursday at midnight. Can't wait...
  5. I got a couple good ones I remember. Yo momma so stupid, she went to a football game and thought a quarterback was a refund. Unfortunately all the QBs the Bills have had recently ARE just that!
  6. I don't believe in curses... We expect elite performance from mediocre players. We need elite players. Out of 53 players on the team, the ones among the elite I would say are, 1. Mario Williams 2. Kyle Williams 3. Stephon Gilmore (don't let his last game think he isn't) 4. Kiko Alonso (so far) 5. Fred Jackson 6. Cordy Glenn 7. Eric Wood Above average are 1. Manny Lawson 2. Marcell Dareus (Because of Pettine) 3. Aaron Williams (at safety and also because of Pettine) 4. McKelvin (because of Pettine) 5. C.J. Spiller 6. Robert Woods 7. Stevie Johnson Let's say each "above average" player counts as half of an elite player. That would make the above average players total in elite status at 3.5 elite players. Plus the 7 I've counted, that's 10.5 elite players. If we can get that number to 15, I think then we may have a shot at being a great football team. By the way, my definition of elite is not like a Drew Brees or a Brady or Peyton. Those to me are Hall of Famers. I count my elite players as someone who I would never want to get rid of. I think to get the other 4.5 elite players we will need one at LB, one at DE, one at CB, one at TE an above average lineman and an above average QB.
  7. Sounds like Chris Brown the Bills reporter is practicing his South African language he picked up from Rosetta Stone.
  8. David Nelson being let go upset me a great deal when I found out. The guy was pretty damn good for us and brought a certain type of energy to the offense. The kissing his GF in Dallas while getting our butts kicked was childish but other than that, the guy played his ass off and we could have used him this year. It wouldn't hurt if he was on an NFC as much as it does seeing him in a Jets jersey. One thing I admire about Rex and his staff is they know how to bring in unwanted talented players. (Minus Tebow)
  9. I mean I'm fine with YAC. Every QB needs his WR to make a move or two to help both of their stats. What I see from EJ is just him not throwing down the field at all and when he does, it's nowhere near the receiver. I'm all for him not throwing interceptions but when you got one on one situations, you gotta throw the ball. Maybe the receivers aren't getting separation, maybe EJ is rushing his footwork. Who knows. But the obvious is that Tuel and Thad threw down field in the same playbook.
  10. Yea and what's sad is you can count exactly on one hand how many of those he's had in 6 games. I'm not a EJ hater. He's our QB and I want the kid to succeed for all our sakes. But I ddon't look at an orange and try to prove that it's an apple. It's not a "coincidence" or "Hackett holding EJ back" when Tuel and Thad play, the ball is flying downfield (underthrow, overthrow, doesn't matter) but when EJ plays, he checks it down.
  11. I use his speed in Madden so I hope he stays on the team. At least the rest of this year.
  12. Kiko only allows a reception when he wants to tackle.
  13. LOL Who is that in your avatar?
  14. I can't speak for anyone else but myself. My personal thoughts on Marrone are these: 1. Love that he's young and eager to prove himself. 2. Hate the decision of bringing Hackett and hiring our ST coach. 3. I'm getting annoyed with him starting off every press conference with "obviously" and overusing it throughout the presser. 4. Don't like the fact that he has no emotion on the sidelines. The only smirk I saw from him was week one against the Pats. Things are horrible, he has the same look. Things are going great, same look. Maybe that's just me but I like coaches who are more animated. 5. I can tell he's uncomfortable during press conferences but I love his honesty. 6. I feel comfortable with our O-line being above average with him here, with him being an x-offensive lineman and coach. 7. I was all for him throwing the red flag on every challenge except for one. (The unchallengeable challenge) And I think that's about it. Of course we all know "winning" changes many things. So things that MAY be annoying to me now, I might wholeheartedly accept, if we could just win.
  15. Check out his press conference from yesterday. He says, "we need more, what's the word I'm looking for?" and a reporter says "urgency" and Marrone says, "no that's not the word I'm looking for, ummmm just give me a second and I'll come up with the word (thinking, thinking, thinking and about 6 awkward seconds pass by and he says) oh I got it, URGENCY". Right there I was like this guy's a Marrone. Total Marrone...
  16. EJ will have better stats cuz he throws with fear and will not release the ball unless the receiver is wide open. I would say it's hard to throw interceptions while you check it down, but EJ had more than one almost intercepted...
  18. We also play the Falcons after they play a Thursday night game which is kind of like a bye for them and the week right after that we play the Jags who play the Thursday night game the week after the Falcons.
  19. (Raises hand) Yes defensewinzchampionshipz? Yea ummm, can I use the bathroom?
  20. Gotta stay loyal. Have I questioned not watching football anymore? Sure. But come every Sunday, I'm glued to the TV. I'm stuck. The worst part of it all is my first year becoming a fan was the year we got Bledsoe. I don't know what it's like to watch my team in the playoffs. I deserve credit for that and I know it. Most of you guys enjoyed the glory days and have good memories of the Bills. The highlight of my years of being a fan was when we started the season 4-0, then he got hurt and we lost like 8 games straight that season. Ugh!
  21. Couldn't have said it any better... Unfortunately you're wrong on one thing. Tuel had ONE 300 yard game this year. Ugh!
  22. I used to think it was Hackett's play calling until I saw Tuel and Thad play. Those two took shots down field. EJ is holding himself back is what I've came to realize. Captain checkdown 2.0! If he doesn't take risks, he's not the answer.
  23. This. We're not ready to play offensive football. Not with the way our QBs throw, make decisions and hold on to the ball. Not with the way OC has called some games. Hackett has called 2 good games IMO... The 2 being the Miami game and Kansas City game. Defense is playing great at times but it seems that we're missing something still cuz we let tackles slip and continue to have trouble stopping the run. The rest of this year is just to gain experience for the youngsters we got.
  24. Obviously Marrone's dog is not getting any love tonight.
