Instead of Hughes I think you meant Lawson. Personally, I agree with our D-Line's philosophy. When one person gets a sack, they all feel they got a sack. No matter who gets the credit, I want to see sacks, QB hits and QB hurries from the D-Line.

At least you guys live close to a bunch of Bills fans. I'm here in Queens, N.Y. and wear my jersey on Sundays no matter the outcome. There's nobody to share my pain with just walking to the grocery store or heading to the pizza shop. I'm one of the few lone soldiers carrying the Bills flag to war against Jets and Giants fans. There are many Bills fans who make it to McFaddens but I'm more of a stay at home and watch the game in the comfort of my own space kind a guy...

Crossman gotta go... On a side note, Hackett is growing on me. Not cuz of last week against the Jets, but more so that I realized EJ's bad games and short passing wasn't Hackett's fault. I also hhave said a while ago that Hackett should get his butt down to the sidelines instead of calling the game from a cozy box. That will only help EJ. But yeah, special teams sucks more than a person trying to get taste through the straw of a McDonald's milkshake.

It's small ideas like that, that make people millionaires. I'd look more into producing a show like that, shoot a sample video and show it to networks. You may be onto something.

I love Spiller don't get me wrong. He's in my top 5 favorites on the Bills squad. But if we can get a speedier version of Fred Jackson, we'd be DANGEROUS in the run game. I really like these short and buff running backs in today's NFL. Everybody else is so big and tall, that they can't locate the running back... Don't stress yourself out. There will always be people who look at things in a more negative approach. Last week when we played the Jets and we had a 3 touchdown lead, my god brother got REALLY upset at a holding penalty we had on a punt return. I'm talking furious. I was like, calm down bro. I'm mad too. But check the scoreboard real quick please.

If I were GM for a week, I would make all my "required" appearances, say all the things Bills fans want to hear, give them hope, take my check and spend 20% of it on myself, take a mini vacation and leave. Isn't that what Bills GMs do?

That may be the case but you know how momentum goes... It may take him that one game against a bad CB to give him confidence going into the next game. I don't feel the home field advantage obviously so I hope the D comes through...

The way I see it and probably most of you would agree, the LG position is definitely open for competition. I most certainly wouldn't mind seeing Unga get some playing time this season. I don't know if LG is the reason why we're not doing so well running the ball this season but it definitely wouldn't hurt having a big guy like him blocking for Spiller. Freddy I'm not concerned about cuz Freddy does what Freddy dies and that's gain yards no matter what. Spiller needs more help from the linemen.

And who do you think he learned that from? I live my life blaming everything that goes wrong on Brady. It's easier that way.

I agree with most of what you're saying but you're way off on saying he changed the D with pretty much the same players from last year. Let's not forget the new additions in Kiko, Lawson and Hughes. Especially Kiko and Lawson playing HUGE roles in this defense. That's 2 out of 11 players on the field. Then you also have to look at Robey and many new rotational players lkke Charles. I expect good things from Charles in the future. Stephon is still young and him coming into his own is definitely also part of the process. I most certainly will not take credit away from Pettine though. The way he elevated McKelvin and Aaron Williams' game is just damn near perfect. I wouldn't want to see any player in either of their positions as starters the way that they are playing which means it only helps us in focusing on fixing other areas of need. Come draft time, I believe our 1st two picks can go either way. Whether it's offense or defense. But I believe if we aren't active in free agency as far as picking up offensive players, then I believe the majority of the draft will be offensive players. That's all credit to Pettine making our below average to average players play at a very high level. I really hope he stays. In the Jets, I'm sure he got love from the fans, but I doubt it's as much as it is here in Buffalo. In the Jets, Rex Ryan usually got the credit. Over here there's no question as to who the credit goes to.

The stadium was damn near full... They did their job by showing up. N when the game was clearly ours, they left. The hidden message behind that is, we'll be here for you when you need us, but we're still disappointed so we're outta here... I really DO hope so. They made a good point in saying young QBs need that face to face attention. You're not helping EJ by sitting cozy in the booth.
