I didn't think Oakland would hold the tiebreaker on us. I was thinking the Steelers and Browns since we lost to both of them. After this week, things will definitely look clearer as far as who we need to lose what game, but we can only worry about that if we beat the Falcons. I honestly didn't want to talk about us and playoff chances after we lost to the Steelers, but ever since then, things have been going our way as far as teams we are chasing, are losing and making us catch up again.

I thought the way you did also. I said to myself, if we can get to 6-7 then the games will be meaningful again. But After this past Sunday, it's not the case. The Jets AND the Dolphins lost which made the chase for the last wild card spot tighter. I believe we're only 1.5 games behind the last wild card slot. After this week, if we win and teams like the Chargers and Titans lose, it will look that much more possible. Plus Ravens and Steelers play each other, one of them have to lose.

If the Panthers can win 7 straight, then we can win 5. But you're right. We need to start with a 2 win streak and take it from there. What will be more exciting if we beat the Falcons is, we'll be playing a meaningful game in December.

I think we're forgetting that we play the Falcons in Toronto and then a Tampa Bay team on the road that seems to be doing good things in recent weeks. Atlanta is the game of the season for us. If we get a win in Toronto, I will accept any playoff discussions there are to be made. I'm more concerned about playing Atlanta at "home" than I am the Bucs in Tampa. One game at a time folks, one game at a time...

Those guys from Holland make a pretty damn good lager... That's good to hear. I did the same at the Ravens game with no issues also. I just figured maybe they were enforcing the rule heavy since then. The only difference I saw at the Ravens game from previous seasons was, you can't just stand around the gate with a beer in your hand.

To me the best part was Rex crying after a game. I respect his confidence and emotions that he has during, before and after a game, but you can't be a head coach in the NFL or a head coach of the NY Jets at that and guarantee a super bowl man... I dislike that attitude even more cuz they're division rivals but I really believe he got and will get what's coming to him (being fired as a head coach and going back to DC) because of his arrogance. It's definitely fun to have the buttfumble 1st year anniversary come a few days after buttwhipping the Jets on Sunday though I must admit... Beating the Jets this past Sunday was like my own personal Super Bowl win. I live in Queens so a lot of people I know and come across are Jets fans, so this game was the only one that mattered to me sitting at a 3-7 record. I still want to continue winning obviously but I don't think I'll be super sad if we lose to the Falcons cuz the hope of making it to the playoffs kind of diminished after losing to the Steelers. If we somehow get our record up to 6-7 on the other hand, I believe any loss after that will crush me again since I'll be back in a , will we make the playoffs mode... Lol that's a classic also... What's really sad is, the Jets IMO have a diamond in the rough QB in Simms sitting on the bench. That guy looks good. I hope they stick with the Geno plan for a few years...

I don't get it... That was one of my favorite parts of going to RWS. The fact that I can park in someone's backyard for a fee, tailgate and around 12:15 start walking toward the stadium with a fresh Heineken while enjoying the scenery walking and drinking. Even having cops direct traffic while I'm taking a sip while waiting at the red light... This sucks...

Well I meant Lawson will have a better chance of having a big game cuz Lawson's a 3 down player while Hughes is situational.
