  1. No they don't. When we wear our throwbacks the helmets are with the standing buffalo instead of the charging buffalo. Where did you hear this from?
  2. The Tebow one was hilarious but the budweiser one was very boring and didn't have ANYTHING to do with beer. I miss the Bud WEIIIS errrr frogs.
  3. I really like the Pepper signing for two reasons. 1. I'll take New England left overs anyday of the week. Will bring insight to what they do and I just love seeing the hoody upset. 2. I like to use pepper on my food.
  4. Are you saying Kellyto83 isn't a millionaire with the best of doctors and his knee isn't as important to people?
  5. I thought the same as I saw how he struggled against the run. If he does bulk up as you suggested I would think he'd make a great OLB.
  6. It can be a better defense or it may not be. We will never know til we see the product on the field. Right now on paper, Shwartz is known to have his guys stop the run (with Haynesworth) and not so successful without him. He aquires a great D-Line with us IMO so I hope Schwartz lives up to his resume and have a great run defense with us. The position coaches leaving, doesn't affect me much cuz honestly, I didn't even know their names til they apparently left. With that in mind, I'm still hopeful for a great defense but that all lies on Schwartz' philosophy and way of teaching both his coaches and players. This will be Schwartz year 1 and Marrone year 2. If we can have a top 10 defense like we did this past year and a better offense, then we shouldn't have anything to be worried about. I'm more interested in picking up more talented players rather than focusing on position coaches at this point. I know the coaches play a huge part. Marrone is the one bringing them in I believe. Does anyone know if Marrone has full control of choosing the coaches that come in? Or does Whaley pick and choose also?
  7. HankBulloughMellencamp's post on page 1. Nevermind. I just saw his disclaimer message.
  8. From what other posters are saying, the Steelers coach finished in the bottom 3 in his position of coaching. I'm just trusting their judgment and calling him a non factor. If they're (the other posters) are wrong about his stats, then I will be wrong for not looking into him myself. I'm not calling Shwartz a non factor though to be clear. It was towards the Steelers coach coming for an interview. Plus we still don't know what we have in Schwartz.
  9. It's shaping up to be a pretty awful offseason so far. Contributors leaving, non factors coming in (possibly). Whaley isn't looking too good for this upcoming year.
  10. This is true, but all this says to me is that Marrone is not respected by his peers. Marrone brought Pettine and now Pettine is bringing or at least WANTS to bring the WHOLE defensive staff with him. The most exciting part and most successful part of our team is being tampered with. Leaves us with no expectations for next year. I really hope Schwartz knows what he's doing cuz if not, bye bye Marrone. Maybe it's for the better if it plays out that way who knows. But that also means 2015 we're cleaning house again. Smh.
  11. This one is kind of surprising. It's clear that he has a better liking to Pettine over Marrone. It's not like he left the Bills as a D-Line coach to become a DC in Cleveland. He left to become the same position coach somewhere else. I say good riddins. If you don't want to be here then I don't want you here. I'm also starting to dislike Pettine more and more.
  12. Then you have my vote for Linebackers coach if O'Neil leaves. Point being, since Schwartz is better than Wanny and Edwards, I look forward to seeing exciting football on the defensive side of the ball. I'm just glad Marrone didn't bring in some unknown the way he did with Hackett. Never been to a prom (HS drop out), but I have a gorgeous girl who happens to not be my cousin. You were half right.
  13. To me it's a good hire based on two things. (1) His past experience and stats as a DC (2) He is an upgrade over George Edwards and Wanny. I'm excited to see how he changes the run defense around. As a DC, he's had a top 5 run D which I'm VERY excited about. I can't remember the last time the Bills had a top 5 run defense.
  14. I vote for Bruce Smith or Talley to be our DC.
  15. Not me. I got things to do. I got that thing with that girl from over there. I would if I could though.
  16. I wish Pettine well (health) but I hope he sucks as a head coach. I love the jersey, not the man. Especially not one who was only with us for a year. Screw the Browns. He'd make an excellent cheerleader.
  17. I thought the minimum was 2 dollars. Then that means he used us like a crackhead ho...
  18. I believe Henderson fixed that problem for us which is the reason why he has my vote as the Bills new DC but only under one condition. That Henderson himself is to pick who the next secondary coach will be.
  19. I'm not as knowledgeable as some as to WHO to trade with, but, trading down is the best option for us. If we can have a late 1st with an extra 2nd and possibly an extra 3rd or 4th round pick, the better it will be for us. Marrone still has a good feel for college players and based on last years draft , the more picks we have, the better for us. You can sign me up as a "I'm for that kind of draft".
