Please no, thurman just replie on twitter to Schefter and I couldn't agree more. What happened to kolb and Flynn? Weren't they suppose to be studs after leaving? They left the system that suited them best and their success went away. I don't want Daniel because he's coming to the bills. I just don't want another Flynn or kolb and yet again another setback for the team. GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust

I really wouldn't mind seeing him being brought it for competition and a chance to earn a roster spot. Get 'er done buddy

Unexpected Free Agent Signing Predictions

CB Greg toler from Arizona could be interesting. Ramses Barden, the WR from the giants could probably be had for cheap. Wouldn't mind looking at Connor barwin the DE/OLB from the texans. Won't touch him before the fifth. That being said, in today's NFL hell probably be taken in the fourth a round early.

From what I've seen he's fine and going to be throwing a whole route tree at his pro day and personal workout.

I've been following the draft process so far this year. I watched some of the combine and NFL network's coverage afterwards. In all of this I managed to see a few interviews with Matt Barkley. To be honest, I really don't like QB's from USC. But after seeing this kid, and hearing him...I can say that I really do like him. I think he would fit well on our team. The kid is a leader and he has been a starter for his team since freshman year in high school. That is impressive for a kid going to USC! In one interview his football knowledge seemed to be very good and he was questioned about how his time at USC was. His response was that he liked holding the team together and helping lead them through a time of turmoil during the NCAA sanctions. This guy really seems like a team player and the natural born leader I want on our team. Now, some might knock him for his average senior year...but went to look back at his junior year tape and I was impressed with it. I think that if this kid is put in the right offense hell blossom into a great NFL starter. I think we have the right coaches and a fairly young nucleus to build this team around Matt Barkley. So, all I have to say is get it done buddy! I look forward to what everyone here thinks about Barkley! GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust

I had an eye on him going into the combine and he really impressed me. I thought if him as a sixth round pick but I don't know. Kid could jump up into the fourth in my opinion. Same thing happened last year with a similar WR named Devon Wylie and he was drafted in the fourth by the chiefs I believe. IMO Vernon is even better.

Where I would take players in this draft
SRivRoc replied to SRivRoc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't touch mike Glennon. I see him as the riser we've seen the last couple of drafts. Gabbert, he's the guy who Glennon reminds me of and I don't want him on this team. Wilson is also interesting. Not that I don't like him, I just don't think we're going to take him. I actually like him as a player, just don't see him here. I think he'll be an early second rounder or trader back into the first for. -
We obviously need alot of help in this draft, but we can't be over reaching for players. So, here is my best take at where we should take players, and the players I would like to see. At QB- Geno Smith, West Virginia in round 1 Ryan Nassib, Syracuse in round 2 EJ Manuel, Florida State in round 2 Matt Barkley, USC in round 3 Zach Dysert, Miami (OH) in round 4 Tyler Bray, Tennessee in round 5 Sean Renefee, Duke in round 6 At RB- Kenjon Barner, Oregon in round 3 Le'Veon Bell, Michigan State in round 6 At TE- Tyler Eifert, Notre Dame in round 2 Zach Ertz, Stanford in round 2 Gavin Escobar, San Diego state in round 3 Joseph Fauria, UCLA in round 3 Travis Kelce, Cincinnati in round 4 Levine Toilolo, Stanford in round 5 Michael Williams, Alabama in round 6 At WR- Cordarrelle Patterson, Tennessee in round 1 Quinton Patton, La. Tech in round 2 Robert Woods, USC in round 3 Da'rick Rogers, Tenn. Tech in round 4 Connor Vernon, Duke in round 4 Marquess Wilson, Wash. State in round 6 Tavon Austin, West Virginia in round 2 Marcus Sales, Syracuse in round 6 At O-Line- Luke Joeckel, Texas A&M in round 1 Chance Warmack, Alabama in round 1 Barrett Jones, Alabama in round 3 Braxston Cave, Notre Dame in round 5 Larry Warford, Kentucky in round 2 Earl Watford, James Madison in round 4 This is my offensive board, I'll be coming out with the defensive side in a few days. Hopefully this is helpful. Keep in mind, I just placed players where I believe they should be taken. I placed players who I thought may fit well for the bills and make a difference. GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust

Liked what I saw from cordarrelle Patterson and tavon Austin...really starting to like geno smith if he falls to us. If not then Ryan Nassib in the second. I liked bray, but he's a 4/5 round pick. Also liked WR's quinton Patton and Connor Vernon out of duke.
-
Early in the draft I like cordarrelle Patterson(Tenn.) and quinton Patton(La. Tech)...if you move to the later rounds two big recievers I like are marquess Wilson(Washington State) and Emory Blake(Auburn)...if we're looking at UDFA though I really like marcus sales from Syracuse, kid looks like he could do things in this league.

Mario Williams? -
I'm just waitin for the text to come up that says jairus or Andy has been signed
-
Just got my text from the bills saying they resigned OL Colin brown...I think he's good depth
-
1-dee milliner cb Alabama (this will give us a very dynamic, young secondary) 2-Tyler Wilson QB Arkansas (buddy nix is going to fall in love with this guy, just have a feeling) 3-quinton Patton WR Louisiana tech (like the ceiling on this guy, but he's a project) 4-nick Johnson ILB Alabama (hell fall because of the huge talent pool on the defensive side this year and should be a steal in the fourth)

Donte Whitner 'drafted into the wrong system' and 'a bad s
SRivRoc replied to Meathead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whitner is going to be replaced on that defense sooner or later, I've watched many of his games on the 49ers and he is constantly caught biting and then getting caught out of place, and to the point of everyone here, he's on one of the best defenses in the NFL so his mistakes are hidden. -
I would really like to see us take Michael Williams from Alabama saw him play a few times and liked what I saw GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust I would really like to see us take Michael Williams from Alabama saw him play a few times and liked what I saw GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust

The players I would like to see us pick at 8 would be Jarvis jones, star loutouiloui, bjorn Werner, demotee moore, Luke jockel, dee milliner, Alec ogletree, barkevious mingo or ezikiel ansah...that being said I think jones, jockel, mingo, Moore and Werner will probably be gone GO BILLS!!! Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
SRivRoc replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a new feeling after the senior bowl that buddy nix drafting style of grabbing guys from down south (sec, acc) will prevail. We will draft Tyler Wilson at 8 or ej Manuel in the second...if Nassib lasts to the second well get him, but I think espn has pumped him up too much for that. We see it every year, espn jumps on a QB prospect and he shoots up boards to be over drafted. This year it will be Nassib. -
What is your "perfect" draft scenario?
SRivRoc replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with your statement about a middle linebacker that high, but I do believe brown can play outside with his speed in this league. I also believe that he'll fall to us in the second because he has remained very quiet around league talk. -

SRivRoc replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we flat out need lb's and brown is up there with ogletree as one of the best in this draft IMO, I think he may fall to the second round as well
