Better Call Saul - final season April 18,2022
coloradobillsfan replied to davefan66's topic in Off the Wall
I am a little frustrated by Mike telling Saul that Lalo "isn't coming back", presumably to keep intact the famous "Lalo didn't send you? No Lalo?" line in BB. Prior to the failed assassination attempt he told him Lalo was going to die, so why wouldn't he tell him when he actually knew Lalo was dead? -
Did Jim Kelly / Bruce Smith save the Bills?
coloradobillsfan replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
IIRC the Bills needed to sell a number of luxury boxes to trigger the new lease -
I got take-out from the EA location a couple weeks ago, and was a little worried because sometimes wing skin gets soggy in the box while you drive home. My fears were unfounded, they were still the best wings I have ever had anywhere. I swear angels look over this place.

come on I was reacting to "Horseradish is a little spicy" not that it compares to habanero in heat. It doesn't even have capsaicin and wouldn't be a valid comparison

A freshly opened jar of horseradish is like smelling salts. If you're not banging the table with your fists with every bite you don't have the right horseradish

this show is in such a unique position, with past and future timelines to resolve. I fully expect chaos to ensue -

The social media post Bob O posted way back in December 21 that showed Howard with blood in his hair made this a bit more anticlimactic for me. I really wish they wouldn't allow leaks like that. EDIT: Following up; Bob posted this a few minutes ago: Mr. Bob Odenkirk 24m @mrbobodenkirk Well the truth can be told. I screwed up. I did not know you could see a little bit of make up that told story… my bad -

Kyle Brandt will announce Bills 3rd round pick

maybe I'm old school, but to me diehards are the ones who have supported the team for years/decades through many tough times -
What is your favorite football related phrase?

"They are who we thought they were" and "Playoffs? Don't talk to me about playoffs. You kiddin' me? Playoffs?" -
Are boneless wings with ranch the best game day dish?
coloradobillsfan replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall
This is the same for the anti-bleu-cheesers who have only tried bleu cheese dressing, and not what it's supposed to be which is bleu cheese dip. -

It looks like this article has since been updated to say that no official decision has been made yet -

I'm tired of hearing it too. What if BPA is a QB? You always have to consider what you need -

you're going to see more dinosaurs than I will at the Jurassic World show! -
My Buffalo fandom actually increased the further I got from WNY. You realize just how special things are in Buffalo when you reflect on it from afar. When I first got to Denver, there was no place to watch the Bills games with volume. So we started a Bills Backers chapter, planted a flag, and the masses of Buffalo fans gravitated to us. When the Sabres were in the playoffs, our bar was jammed with Sabres fans. When Pommers scored that goal we spilled out into the streets of downtown Denver like we just won the cup. Our love for all things Buffalo make us unique out here; it's almost like a family reunion type of atmosphere. It's really quite special, and we're very proud of that

I think the Vegas game, Heritage Classic, down 0-4 in Chicago, and now tonight's RJ game have given us as big a reason as any in the last 10 years to believe the Sabres are ready to contend again

SPOILER ALERT Bassist Guy Pratt told us that during the 94 PF tour rehearsals Gilmour asked the band if there were any old PF songs they wanted to do. Immediately Guy said "The Nile Song!" to which a cringe-faced Gilmour told him he could kindly go find another band! And, as Guy puts it, that's exactly what he did! So Saucerful has done this one - as far as I know that's the only one from More but I have not reviewed every setlist. -

Interesting that you're a Waters-era Floyd fan, but not a fan of his solo material! I haven't listened to Pros&Cons or Radio KAOS in ages, but Amused to Death in my opinion is the best solo PF album of them all and it still finds its way into my rotation. For what it's worth, Rog is on record saying this is his farewell tour. Hit me up if you ever need a place to stay for a Red Rocks show, I'm only 15 minutes away. -

Definitely go see this if you are a Pink Floyd fan! In fact I recommend springing for good seats if you can. Gary Kemp is a wizard - he does a great job emulating PF sounds with whatever box he has attached to his guitar. They perform a lot more obscure material, which is great for diehard fans. I recommend not looking at setlists prior to your show to keep the surprise factor intact. Lots of fun, worth every penny imo. Roger Waters later this summer, Tedeschi Trucks Band x2 at Red Rocks, Umphrey's McGee x 2 Gov't Mule spring tour got postponed after Warren fell on his shoulder and fractured his scapula while on vacation in Costa Rica - ouch. All the summer dates are still intact though. -
I'm not exactly sure if you are talking about reading mock drafts done by media, or mock drafts where you play the GM. But I usually bang out 2 or 3 rounds once or twice per day on these sites just for fun: https://www.pff.com/draft/nfl-mock-draft-simulator https://thedraftnetwork.com/mock-draft-machine Since I don't play fantasy any more, I also have fun tiering the players. Once I get around 30, I know that at least 5 or more will be available at the Bills pick. It helps me to see trends. For example, if there is the expected run on CB's there will almost undoubtedly be a stud WR that falls, and vice versa. And if somehow all these CB's and WR's go, it's because one of those monster OL surprisingly didn't and that could be a huge opportunity for the Bills. I'm no expert for sure, and trades throw monkey wrenches in the whole thing, but I feel I have a better beat on things after doing these for a few weeks.
