If your tv audio has a center channel, try turning it off. When I do this, the announcers get muted while the sounds of the stadium remain - so it is kinda like being there. You may have to turn down the subwoofer a bit too.

I agree completely. In WNY there is no reason to call them Buffalo wings, but outside the area it is very appropriate and helps guarantee you will get bone-in wings and Buffalo style hot sauce (but not always blue cheese, too many default to ranch out here).
