  1. Not only did this give me hundreds of hours of gaming fun, it lead to my career in IT.
  2. Bills likely wanted McDuffie but the Chiefs leapfrogged us to grab him. Elam was the booby prize, and the hope was McD could transfer his skill set to fit the Bills D. So far that has met with somewhat.. limited success shall we say
  3. There is, as of now, absolutely zero corroboration to this story. The first 3 words of AB's post even demonstrate he doesn't know either. I hope the little girl benefits from the money regardless, but if this was cooked up to get donations that's pretty low.
  4. Bears radio is an absolute riot right now https://player.amperwave.net/3614 * one of the announcers is calling for the coach to be put in prison LOL
  5. has anyone actually ever been fired on Thanksgiving before? It really makes me wonder if it was done on purpose. I mean that's exactly how egregious that was
  6. don't they have a signal to snap immediately? what was he doing out there calling signals while time ticked away?
  7. Tennis used to be so much fun to watch. After the matches we would play right out in the street and have arguments about who would be McEnroe, Connors, Lendl, etc. Indoor soccer was huge too - the Stallions were every bit as popular as the Sabres at our school
  8. I'll add one that no one will know; it doesn't look, sound, or feel like a Disney movie but it was distributed by them in 1983. It's called Never Cry Wolf, and it helped inspire me to move out West (not the Arctic though, Buffalo was cold enough).
  9. "Major antipast' first. Then soup, meatballs and scharol then the baked manigott', then the bird."
  10. lol table jumping 'pros' on social media are saying it's actually more dangerous to pre-break the tables since they absorb most of the impact (and not the ground)
  11. this thread deserves a bump I thought Oliver pushed the pocket all day long today and I loved it
  12. "Looked good to me!" -Pinto Kenny Super Bowl XXV
  13. Josh Allen Josh Allen Josh All in
  14. okay I'll forgive him! Longest FG in Bills history to squish the fish - got to give him his redemption hope this finally gives him his mojo back!!
  15. Just getting back from 3 consecutive David Gilmour shows at the Hollywood Bowl. Had chilly weather (by LA standards) but the music kept us warm every night. Despite identical setlists each show was special. David's voice is holding up nicely for being 78 but his guitar playing is still simply incredible. Floyd classics shine, as does much of Luck and Strange. "Scattered" might be the best post PF song he's ever written. There are still the MSG shows remaining so if you're on the fence I couldn't recommend making the effort enough, especially considering the likelihood this abbreviated tour could be his last. If so, it's a heck of a way to go out.
  16. Truly a very special person. Jerry will be happy to see his old friend again.
  17. The miracle would be Uncle Terry finding someone better than McD. Do you really have faith he can?
  18. I've been doing this for over 10 years now. My favorite is when I invite new friends over but don't tell them.. they are like 10 15 minutes into enjoying the game before someone finally says "hey what a minute!" I have to increase the overall volume to hear the crowd noise well (the curses come in nice and clear) but if I forget to mute the commercials some of their sounds BOOM while others are silent. So it's not a perfect solution but overall it's been a revelation
  19. If your audio setup includes a center channel, try muting just that speaker. It should eliminate the announcer voices, leaving the sounds of the game intact. It's not a perfect solution (I also turn down my subwoofer to mute the low end of their voices) but it's well worth a shot.
  20. Many of us here prefer our horseradish strong enough to strip paint off the wall, so yeah
  21. Thought you were going the Haiku route there for a minute
