Listen to Bills games via internet radio?
coloradobillsfan replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I haven't tried it out during a game yet, but the Google Play store app "NFL Football Radio LIVE" has 12 stations listed for the Bills, and has mostly positive reviews. Lately (for the preseason games) I've just been bringing up one of the Reddit video streams but they drop out frequently, eat up data quickly, and make my phone about as hot as a nuclear fuel rod *also, oddly when I get home and bring up the WGR550 web site player on my desktop computer, I can hear the game just fine. But on my phone, nada -
Gumbel and Green were horrible last night

maybe this is a good time to remind those with center channels on their tv audio, you can mute this and it silences the announcers while keeping the sounds of the game intact. you might have to adjust the subwoofer lower to clear the muffled low tones as well. it makes for a very enjoyable stadium-like viewing experience -

That's crazy. I looked it up and according to the wiki page for that tour the person that they landed on was the one that died, which makes it even more tragic -
I collect rocks and minerals. Both purchased (eBay auctions, mineral shows) and by personally collecting them here on hikes in Colorado. If anyone shares this hobby and wants to trade, send me a PM. I have collected a lot of blue amazonite from the Pikes Peak region, rough purple and green fluorite, rose quartz and black tourmaline (schorl). And I also have a lot of purchased specimens of all kinds that sit piled in cardboard flats that I'd rather see enjoyed instead of gathering dust.

I don't have time to look up sources, but there is considerable evidence that shows that hand writing notes commits the information to memory a lot better than typing

But there are a lot of respected sources who say he never uttered nor wrote the words. https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/fl-xpm-2001-10-28-0110260564-story.html -

I'm still curious where this quote originated. I don't believe it was Yamamoto, and it wasn't even mentioned in At Dawn We Slept -
Nope not this time. The National Earthquake Information Center is in my town.

this produced the largest earthquake in continental US history in 1812. bigger than any known in California, and reportedly felt 1200 miles away in Washington DC by President Madison and first lady Dolly Madison. it also shifted the course of the Mississippi, which resulted in gigantic geyser-like water columns.

I grew tired of the coconut milk based stuff, plus the saturated fat content is totally off the charts. Now Mr Kook's Chicken Curry sauce has become my favorite. It's in a jar so it's ready as fast as I can bake the chicken, and I've become addicted to its nice strong onion and ginger flavor. Served over Uncle Ben's 90-second microwave basmati rice, now that's a quick easy tasty weekday meal

Tasker HOF inductee in 2020?
coloradobillsfan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sal doesn't think he's eligible @SalSports The HOF might select 10 senior members in 2020 as part of their special Centennial Class. I've always felt that may be Steve Tasker's best chance to make it, via Senior route. Eligibility is having been retired 25 years. In 2020, Tasker will have been retired 24 years -
I still have not read a convincing argument that demonstrates how a football stadium that will sit idle for 300++ days per year will revitalize anything. Baseball stadium sure, Coors Field here turned what used to be skid-row into the hottest and most active part of downtown Denver. NO ONE considers the area around Invesco Field/Mile High a destination by any stretch of the imagination

Wonder why it says "near SSD performance" on the specs page then. Sounds like it smokes it.

I'm not familiar with Optane, but it sounds like it performs very much like a Solid State Drive (SSD). You really want this performance for Windows to keep things nice and snappy.

It Might Get Loud (2008) explores electric guitar through interviews with Jimmy Page, the Edge, and Jack White Genghis Blues (1999) is more obscure but is a fascinating journey to the remote country of Tuva with blind bluesman Paul Pena -

I'm guessing they will keep it under wraps, but let me know if anyone finds out how much the band forked over to Antique Archaeology for the van -
How frequently do you go to beaches?
coloradobillsfan replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not many beaches out here, at least for the last 66 million years or so
