Aikman and Buck are insufferable
coloradobillsfan replied to pennstate10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If your audio setup includes a center channel, turn it OFF. It will silence the announcers while keeping the rest of the game sounds intact. You're welcome. -
Anyone Else Having Trouble Dealing with this Success?
coloradobillsfan replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought this thread was going to be about our success during the pandemic. Every game I've watched so far has been alone. I still cheer loud and proud, which my neighbors can surely attest to, but not with my fellow Bills backers or friends due to covid. I set up a zoom call during the Rams game thinking that with the game being on national TV we could all enjoy it at the same time. Nope the broadcasts were always ahead or behind for someone, making it an unenjoyable experience that we had to abandon. I'll take Bills success any way we can get it, but for sure this year is surreal and different and in some ways a little uncomfortable. -

Week 2 Bills @ Dolphins PreGame Thread
coloradobillsfan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it's been a while since I read it, but I do remember seeing a study that showed there was no correlation between stretching and injury rates. It was not specific to football or any particular sport though. -
Milano and Edmunds OUT against Miami
coloradobillsfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what frustrates me the most about this is that we lost Milano when the defense had to come back onto the field after Allen's second fumble just before halftime, when we were up 21-0 and deep in jets territory. -
Gameday Thread Bills vs. Jets 1st Half
coloradobillsfan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know, getting that first down without the expected cheer from the crowd felt strange -
slow afternoon at work... I found a number of reputable sources on google (popular science and webmd for example) that state this is an urban myth, and bacteria is present even in people who do not suffer from UTI also did some 'research' on whether or not it's a good idea even in a survival situation, and it would seem that the general scientific consensus is No but mainly because of the high sodium content (all due respect to Mike Ehrmantraut)

72 NFL Players Were Diagnosed with COVID
coloradobillsfan replied to cd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no parade down delaware no hugs and high fives with strangers and forever tainted with the asterisk of covid I guess the question now is if I even want this to be the season the Bills finally win a superbowl -

Want some New Era turf?
coloradobillsfan replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
me too, been carrying it around for over 25 years now (!) it's real easy to know if your keys are in your pocket or not -
Quite a few times. Full list here: http://www.buffalobill.org/pdfs/buffalo_bill_visits.pdf I certainly didn't growing up, but I do now especially since I can see the flag flying over his grave from my back deck here in Golden. I am certainly the only person who wears Bills gear during our Buffalo Bill Days festival though! He was the most famous American in the world for quite a long time, even more recognizable than presidents. I have heard it said this was true all the way up until Elvis.

Plenz Can't Get Enough Canned Tuna
coloradobillsfan replied to Gugny's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I keep my cans of tuna/albacore in the fridge. Makes for a nice cold sandwich, just the way I like it. Have you ever crunched down on a glass-like substance in your tuna? I freaked but it turns out it's a completely natural substance called struvite that can form during the canning process. Still turned me off tuna for quite some time. -

Biggest concert “miss”, biggest concert “letdown”?
coloradobillsfan replied to 4_kidd_4's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I second this. At our Pepsi Center show in Denver, "Diamond Dave" forgot so many lyrics so he spent most of the time holding his microphone to the crowd. Their sound guy must have just turned every knob up to maximum and called it a day - it was earsplittingly loud. Basically spent about 100 bucks to hear one decent EVH solo. Pissed me off so much that to this day I will tune to a different radio station whenever VH comes on.
