  1. It's that time of year again: I don't know how many of you are familiar with the Child's Play charity: http://www.childsplaycharity.org/ It was started by the guys who run www.penny-arcade.com in hope of getting video games to sick kids stuck in the Hospital. Well, they have added Women and Childrens Hospital of Buffalo to the list (I think possibly due in part to an email I sent a while ago [/selfbackpattingoff]). If you go there it will take you to a "wish list" on Amazon.com where you can make a purchase that will be sent directly to the hospital So come on Buffalonian's and Gamers, show 'em what you got and make a sick kid forget about his ailment for 10 minutes with a game of NHL 10....! (Sticky this if possible...)
  2. I know it's meant as a dig at the prez, but that cadet is probably gonna catch holy hell.
  3. Bill Nye is actually a Cornell grad with an engineering degree. While that doesn't mean his opinion on GW is worth a hill of beans, he isn't exactly a dummy either. South Park rules. SNL hasn't been good in years.
  4. The best part about that story is that the tribe that actually lived on Manhattan island weren't the ones who sold it. It was a neighboring bunch of natives that resided elsewhere.
  5. Especially when your tax dollars support the team.
  6. We could be talking about a host of other options. But thanks to our bloated and corrupt government we have one option, not supported by most people, that is being forced down our throats. But that's not what I was trying to point out . Go back and look at the questions asked in those polls posted previously by The Big Cat and BILZFAN4LIFE. They are different and thus easily explain the differences in the results.
  7. You guys realize those polls ask different questions right? Many people support nationalized health care. Most people think the current bill sucks balls.
  8. Which one? (Protip - they are all quite different)
  9. Thanks for the notes!
  10. Because this is a thread discussing why people hate Palin, and you countered with a strawman critique of the current President - which is fine, but in a thread about Palin it made it seem as though you were doing so from the perspective of someone who supported her. While you didn't explicitly state that you liked her, it seemed like an easy inference. My apologies if I lumped you in with the dummies that actually think she would make a good POTUS. Uh - no. Should I?
  11. One was a joke. One was an idiotic rant (seems to be your forte - no wonder you love Palin).
  12. I'm not even sure how to respond to that. Necessary, yes. Good? Really? Even though it was an act that most reasonable people would agree ended up saving countless lives, I hardly would call it 'good'. Then again this is PPP where idiocy is king.
  13. I remember the good ol' days when our elected leaders would vomit on the Japanese...
  14. That seems to be the theme of her new book. I also love how disliking Palin = Librul = Unabashed love of the current POTUS. You people do realize plenty of conservatives resent her as well right? Or did Rush not clue in you dittoheads in on that bit?
  15. I visited a friend who has Direct TV and the NFL package. It was hard to watch other FB teams and see them do the simple things that the Bills can't. It's like we are in another league.
  16. Whenever I hear or read "Bichon" all I can think of is the song by Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, "Underage Bichon".
  17. Wasn't there a professor form RIT who triangulated different angles of the footage and proved the pass did travel forward?
  18. Perfect weather to stay inside and play CoD:Modern Warfare 2.
  19. No surprise there. You seem to have a new puss every day. Two beagles and a bassetthound for me. All rescues.
  20. He probably wants Vick to come to town so he has someone with whom he can place high value dog bets to make up for all the bling he lost. Those stolen bits of jewelry were his retirement plan you know...
  21. I don't think he was bragging. Maybe re-read that.
  22. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/08/12/o...-encouragement/ Just one link, but I've read tons of articles this season detailing the mentor relationship between Owens and Hardy.
  23. I don't think it makes much sense. At least TO can act as a mentor to Hardy and Johnson. I can't comment as to the financial implications of cutting TO vs. Parrish, but considering that both of them are likely to be gone next year, at least TO has something he can offer our younger guys.
