  1. Actually, I saw nothing of the sort. Do you have links to any of those articles? I'm not being argumentative, I just never saw that he was vindicated.
  2. This won't settle people down either. Now they will focus on proving the document is some type of forgery. If the accusation were that Obama was a green blooded alien, and he cut himself on live TV with a knife to show red blood, these people would simply state that the aliens have figured out a way to change the color of their blood. "They is more cleverer than we'd thunk!"
  3. As always, thanks for your thoughts NGU. Any word on what the Bills think of QB Ricky Stanzi from Iowa?
  4. I'm gonna go ahead and guess it some function lower of poverty levels, lower unemployment rates, higher education levels, and culture. But then again, that shouldn't really be considered groundbreaking or earth shattering information.
  5. So any updates as to when the Bills might officially demo the uni's? Draft weekend maybe?
  6. I have to say I was always surprised that when confronted about their rational very little attention was given to the fact that Saddam was a direct material supporter of terrorism (i.e. money to Palestinian suicide bombers families).
  7. I think social media and the states of their economies have far more to do with it than our last or current president.
  8. This report doesn't appear to be true just yet. Think it might be a misrepresentation of some comments made to Ammanpour earlier...
  9. Wait though - doesn't the orbit of the earth vary due to eccentricity? I thought there were small variations over time?
  10. I always mix up Henry Gibson and Henrik Ibsen. Explains why I never saw excerpts from 'Lady Inger of Oestraat' on Laugh In.
  11. I find it funny to see "Illinois" and "Nazi's" in the same thread w/o even having a Blues Brothers reference.
  12. Ah, but the nicer parts of Ontario with the best fishing are in Jefferson. Essex has Placid, Essex and Clinton have Champlain. The river (St. Lawrence) is entirely within St. Lawrence and Jefferson counties. I'd rather we sawed off long Island or just let Jersey have it.
  13. Only if we can also throw in a deal to trade SU for the Huskers. You obviously need a geography lesson, as aside from the finger lakes, everything I mentioned is in one of the six northernmost counties. Nice try though.
  14. Yeah, the Adirondacks, 1000 Islands, Lake Ontario, St. Lawrence, Finger Lakes, etc. are all useless. Great post.
  15. I wish someone would have threatened Alanis Morrisette with violence for making a generation of idiots think that a bug in your wine is ironic.
  16. Maybe we can get a drunken, cigarette smoking, wiry, Irish kicker too.
  17. Maybin, maybin not: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Why-do-so-many-NFL-players-go-bankrupt-?urn=nfl-190555
  18. While I'm not opposed like I used to be (to UHC) it's the hard handed approach and the implementation itself I disagree with. And I've read a few of the supporting arguments in cases where it's been upheld, and the logic is pretty specious. Along the lines of "well it's important and it affects all 50 states, therefore, the Feds get to regulate it".
  19. I realize the Feds abuse the interstate commerce clause for a good many things, some that appear to be valid, others not so much. But I'm having a hard time understanding what part of the 14th supports the health care mandate (the recent decision notwithstanding). Could someone explain, even in vague terms how the commerce clause is being cited to support this?
  20. It wasn't too bad if you were lucky enough to see it on TV. Might have a different opinion had I been at the game though.
  21. Yeah, I'm sure that rather innocuous post just ignited a firestorm at league headquarters. Head to your basement and put on your tinfoil hat CodeMonkey - the NFL Gestapo is coming for you!
  22. Not every day you get to see a Chimp and a Monkey fight.
