  1. This whole Jill Kelly/TG thing on twitter is a bit odd.
  2. I live 2.5 miles from the Ralph and probably drive by twice a week at a minimum. Understanding that I know bupkis about large construction projects, it doesn't look like it's a little over one week away from primetime. The store appeared to be half finished and there seemed to be a decent amount of work left to be done around the gates. Overall as of 8PM EDT today, it looked a long way from being done. Again, not being a construction guy, it's possible I'm overreacting, but the place didn't give me the vibe of a venue that was about to host 40,000 people in 10 days.
  3. You criticize posts Yet yours are without prose friend Those in glass houses.... Haiku!
  4. Well I guess we can just close the thread then...
  5. You mean the 35 million dollar bait store that was gonna singlehandedly save Buffalo?
  6. Some reports claim that I may have up to eight testicles, but other sources report that number might be closer to two.
  7. I was sharing similar concerns with many other posters regarding EJ so I went back and watched him more closely this morning. I must say I'm a little less concerned than I was last night. One thing that stood out was that only on one play did he lock onto a receiver, which was the final play on 3rd and 11. On every other play he made pretty quick decisions and throws. The first two batted passes were more the fault of the o-line, in particular the first as the Giants defender blew past the LT and would have probably sacked EJ. The 3rd one was definitely on him as he locked on to Watkins. Granted he was coming open and if that pass gets through its most likely going in for the score. I'm not saying it doesn't fall upon the QB, but reasonably speaking he wasn't nearly as bad as a lot of people are making it seem.
  8. I'm hoping for good weather. I have a 16'x9' screen w/full 1080p in my backyard next to my heated pool. Rain means I'll be indoors watching on a regular TV like a pauper.
  9. It also be that they might not want to try and match bids. Think about it this way; Those guys clearly want an NFL team. They know it's unlikely they will get this one, so why get into an unwinnable biffing war that will only drive up the sale price of the next available team? Doing so is against their own best interests.
  10. Don't forget the cost of operating a football team with drastically reduced sponsorship, merch and ticket sales. Wild-ass speculation; The loss in revenue might be enough to cause them to lose money for 6 years depending on what their financing is like (since they presumably aren't paying cash).
  11. Interesting. I didn't think Trump was going in for more than 850-900 million.
  12. If only they had some common interest like tennis...
  13. It's a shame our governor is such an honest, upstanding citizen. Otherwise, we could probably hope for him to take some unethical actions to ensure the trust selects the bidder he most prefers.
  14. Thanks for the recap Astro!
  15. I gotta get the papers get the papers...
  16. Thanks Mike - I've been waiting all morning!
  17. Think of all the soda and crab legs Jameis Winston could steal at Wegmans if we only had that 1st rounder next year!
  18. I'm confused mostly because of what little info it does provide, seems to be in conflict with nearly every other observation from today.
  19. Sounds like the O is having a better day (assuming this is 11v11)....
  20. I wish this thread was back to mostly tweets and not about one singular topic...
  21. Empire used to carry the scrimmages with the Browns. Granted, that was years ago, but I'm not sure the NFL would charge an arm and a leg to have a local station carry it.
  22. Nice job guys, especially mrags.
  23. Aside from the altitude being a bit off (depending on which missile we're talking about) what's inaccurate? Nevermind; Eyes saw "3,000" but pre-caffeine brain interpreted that as "Mach 3". Regardless, you are still a miserable prick as noted previously.
  24. Of course he's a nice dude. Wealthy and had Britney in her prime. I'd be the nicest guy on earth too if I'd hit the lottery twice before I was 35.
