  1. LOL - Says the guy who references Sisyphus in his screen name. Seriously though, it's gonna be awful. Probably similar to the 57-10 routing on Sunday night against the Pats** back in '07 or '08.
  2. I feel dirty for clicking the link.
  3. Meatloaf made well is delicious !
  4. You'd think with a haircut that bad he'd be a little less smug.
  5. Happy birthday old man. Go Bills! Also, for the record, mine is today too
  6. My observations; On the first one called back, the defender started at/near the waist and sort of slid down as the QB reeled backward which in real time could give the appearance of having gone at or below the knees. I can sorta forgive the mistake, but it was ultimately a bad call nonetheless. On the second call, I'm stumped. Looked fine in real time and from all angles on the replay. edit: if it were a real game I'd be livid.
  7. Thanks! I see now they're doing a few global streams. Looking forward to it!
  8. Fantastic write up! Thank you!
  9. i ended up just doing a VPN. Took 30 seconds and appears to work on the CBC.tv site.
  10. Fantastic write up, as usual Astro. Saves me a drive out to SJF. Thanks!
  11. Agree wholeheartedly. And I don't mind the slogan itself, but rather their need to clobber me over the head with it every 30 seconds.
  12. The horn doesn't annoy me that much, but they don't seem to overuse it. Then again I'm usually to buzzed to care.
  13. Was anyone else annoyed by the constant barrage of the apparent 2016 season motto during last night's broadcast? "BILLS RUN DEEP!" and "RUN DEEP" splash screens were shown after every 2nd or 3rd play. I don't feel like I'm exaggerating when I say it popped up every minute. If we'd have done shots for every occurrence, there would be 3 bodies on ice at ECMC.
  14. It most certainly IS blocked, thanks for the heads up. Do you recommend VPN or some other DNS proxy?
  15. Cable yes, FIOS no (-1 FIOS). Looks like I will be streaming, which isn't a huge issue, since I have 75/75 internet (+1 FIOS). Between my firestick and a hardwire connection from my PC<->Router I should be ok with those two options. Maybe I'll get lucky and some station on FIOS would carry it. Larkin party sounds fun, but my in-ground pool, outdoor 16'x9' projection screen, tiki bar and kegerator sounds better.
  16. Does anyone know if you can pick up CBC/Canadian Television Stations in OP with an antenna? I’m having a party for the last Tragically Hip show, and would prefer to have a more reliable solution (or at least a back up) to streaming. Some OTA maps seem to indicate I wouldn’t be able to receive a signal, but I have trouble believing that OP can’t get a CBC station.
  17. Not sure, but you might be better off getting a service.
  18. Not many "hotels" near the stadium (which in 5 miles). Mostly motels. As far as Uber goes, no love there either.
  19. "Obama pledges support". I'm sure that's comforting to the Germans.
  20. Are you by any chance the same "Buffalo Joe" who is also a douchebag local concert promoter with a history of ripping off bands? If you were, I wouldn't be at all surprised.
  21. When he was in power there were plenty of suicide bombers. It's just that he was smart enough to pay them to do it somewhere else: http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=129914
  22. I'm not a fan of the medium thickness crust or the Cisco truck sauce that is on 90% of the pies in town. A few really good places, but a whole lot of mediocre.
  23. DiTondo's is legit. Weird operating hours but excellent food. My thoughts on pizza in WNY: it mostly sucks. Mostly.
