  1. 1) Yes, Patel is kind of an idiot. 2/3/4) No, I don't think little idiosyncratic details are all that odd when it comes to insane, politically motivated killers.
  2. You whackos believe boys are girls, but will question actual photographic evidence if it runs contrary to your beliefs or lets you blame a different ideology. Nuts.
  3. Spoiler alert - they are: Recent Montana drug task force operations Helena and Butte (2024): In an operation involving the DEA and other agencies, coordinated raids were conducted at residences in Helena and Butte as part of a large-scale methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking investigation. Law enforcement seized approximately 7 pounds of meth and 68 grams of fentanyl from the Helena residence. From the Butte residence, officers seized about 6 pounds of meth, 208 grams of fentanyl, $15,000 in cash, and seven firearms. The case led to the sentencing of California brothers involved in the trafficking ring. Eastern Washington and Montana (2025): The DEA and other agencies were part of an investigation targeting a drug trafficking organization that distributed methamphetamine and fentanyl throughout Eastern Washington and into Montana's tribal lands. The case resulted in the conviction of a Mexican national, Luis Esquivel-Bolanos, who was connected to the trafficking ring. Crow and Northern Cheyenne Reservations (2025): In early 2025, a DEA-led task force operation arrested ten people on allegations of trafficking methamphetamine on tribal reservations and in nearby counties. Bozeman area (2025): In February 2025, ICE and Homeland Security Investigations arrested six alleged members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua in Bozeman and Belgrade. These types of operations, while not led by the DEA, are often part of the same multi-agency efforts to combat drug trafficking organizations.
  4. "Jimmy Kimmel and ABC defeat Future Hitler." News at 11.
  5. I'll take that as another "no" then. I think your reluctance to post something specific, is that I'll be able to easily find something that refutes it or at least provides a contrary, peer reviewed opinion, thus demonstrating that it's far from being settled in the scientific sense as you seem to somewhat acknowledge. Maybe more importantly, I don't so much care why someone may have gender dysphoria, because I would treat them like anyone else. I'm happy to use people's preferred pronouns and treat them equally. It doesn't mean I have to pretend a biological male can get pregnant, or want one competing against women in the Olympics, but beyond that they are free to live their lives as they choose and should be able to do so without harassment.
  6. So no, you won't cite your sources, gotcha. I'm not googling using your specific search criteria. Put up some peer reviewed research or be done with it As far as being MAGA or a dullard, I'm neither. And frankly most adults (or at least the ones I know) didn't give a whit if someone was transgender until the women's sports thing became an issue (even if it is an edge case).
  7. Can you cite these studies? Because most scientific sources I've seen tend to mention things like chromosomes, the ability to produce OVA, etc. Gender dysphoria is classified as a mental illness. So I'm not sure that really is a sound basis for the definition of a woman.
  8. Why does everything need a happy ending? I didn't care for a lot of his religious takes either, but on most topics I found myself more or less aligned. Sounds like you should be proud that she was able to listen, and come away with her own informed opinion.
  9. Coach seems to agree with me...
  10. AJE and Groot should be on the same pay scale. $16.50 at McDonald's sounds about right to me.
  11. If they truly don't exist, then it should be a non-issue to have a terrorist designation. No different than adding the Gramercy Riffs, The Baseball Furries, and the Lizzie's to the list.
  12. Positive thoughts your way, Yolo.
  13. The knife isn't meant to represent violence, it's the instrument they use to butcher the kids
  14. Many moons ago, but have a lot of friends still there. A year or two ago almost jumped back in and bought a place, but my golden handcuffs and common sense got the better of me.
  15. Since you seem to indicate a bent towards latin cuisine, supposedly La Puertas has a 7 course Spanish-themed degustation menu. Haven't been but have dying to try.
  16. Not with my walking boot on. Also, it's not so much a knee-jerk defense of the city as much as it is being a bit of a food guy and getting a little fed up with the notion the the only thing of culinary significance around here is spicy chicken and a beef sandwich. There are so many incredible options that rival some in bigger markets, you just have to know where to go. Another factor is the often fleeting nature of restaurants. Even great ones come and go in a competitive industry with razor thin margins.
  17. Balvenie Double Barrel at Hammer's Lot it is then.
  18. Now I no you're full of it, because most Buffalo pizza is trash. 😂 I've traveled everywhere (and still do) including overseas and most major metro areas. Unique culinary experiences can be found everywhere. To fixate on awards tells me all I need to know.
  19. Yeah but it's a BBQ place. He'll be fine as most of the conservatives out there are vegan these days. Probably ends up retaining about 95% of his customer base.
  20. Nearly everything you've described (save for perhaps a few of the niche asian cuisines) can be found here. No ***** LA has more options? Thanks Captain obvious. Hard to believe a metro area of 13-14 million has more choices than one of roughly 1 million. You clearly haven't been back long enough or explored enough to give the local fare a fair shake in the last 10 years, but hey, defer to your awards and magazines. But but.... the awards!
  21. There have been several recent James Beard finalists in Buffalo. There are also plenty of incredible food options ranging from regional to ethnic cuisine that don't rival NYC in number of options, but are close in terms of quality and authenticity. It's not like an Ethiopian guy in Buffalo is somehow less real than his cousin in the Bronx. Bad take.
  22. Change the title to "womanhunt" I guess. Wouldn't want to put anyone here at an increased risk of violence by accidentally misgendering some extremist lunatic.
  23. Pearl is an excellent place to go, I just don't rate their wings in the top two tiers. Definitely mid-tier, although not bad. Just a few better options in the city.
  24. Try Adolfs as well (or maybe instead). Best wings you can get downtown as far as I'm concerned.
  25. McDermott's Merkins?
