Ok, now Robbie Goo is doing a cover of this song with local.musicians and fans. I was kinda neutral on this whole thing to start, but honestly it's getting a little cringey at this point. Plus, I'm still convinced the Goo Goo Dolls killed the vibe in the Sabres arena with their simpy, ***** ass rip off of "Life in a Northern Town" that they were shoving down our throats in the years after the Drury/Briere debacle. Such a woe-is-me, loser vibe. So for God's sake stay the hell away from the Bills.

1/19/25 Division Round Playoff Post Game Thread Bills vs. Ravens
yall replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I got to say, McDermott getting semi-emotional over the losers comment was great. He legit got emotional and kind of pissed off and called us a town of winners. That was nice. -
1/19/25 Division Round Playoff GAMEDAY THREAD Bills vs. Ravens

Literally the reason I'm not going today. The cold? No biggie. Watching us getting our poop pushed in while drinking $16 frozen beer? I'll pass. -
She is such an annoying *****. "I'm going to say something untrue and then move on so that can't respond..."

Any Ray Davis injury (concussion) updates?
yall replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah means he's in step 4 I believe. -
Yes I have bet against the bills before. My thought being if someone asked me "Would You gladly spend $100 to have the bills win today?" My answer would usually be a resounding yes. And if they lose and I end up with a couple extra dollars in my pocket, so be it.

I truly hope you're right.

Little Help: Post-game Traffic Logistics Question
yall replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall
Edit/correction: Evidently for the last few games they have been blocking people from turning right, effectively allowing no westbound traffic between the field house and Abbott. We've had no problem in the past but perhaps that's because we tend to linger. Apologies for any confusion. -
I'm not looking past Denver, but Baltimore is hot, and if we have to face them, they're our biggest hurdle to the Superbowl. KC just doesn't scare me.

I must say (in my best Ed Grimley voice ) that I'm genuinely surprised by the price of tickets on Ticketmaster and the apparent lack of demand for a home playoff game. I've spoken with a number of people who said they we're saving their money and time for the division round, which I can understand but at the same time it's the playoffs and nothing is guaranteed. Are we that spoiled now with a 5-5 record in the playoffs over the last few years, that a wild card game at home during what is relatively mild weather (by WNY in January standards anyway) just isn't that big of a draw?

While the outcomes of any draft are obviously not guaranteed, there is a certain value associated with each pick. I can't say the OP is accurate in that Bass intentionally missed, but I would say that generally speaking, it's of more value for an organization to have the #1 overall versus #4. Knowing that, depriving a division opponent of the #1 at zero cost to your own organization only makes sense.

Masterclass by McD - drops the Pats from #1 overall to #4
yall replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
All kidding aside, one has to wonder why the Pats could have allowed or even remotely wanted that outcome. -
They did in fact explicitly state that "this is not a terrorist event" in the beginning. Plenty of links if you look for the statement by FBI special agent Alethea Duncan. They would have been better off just saying "under investigation" or something other than making a proclamation without the benefit of having more information.

Soft on crime Democrats - the system is the problem?

Expedient trial followed by a public hanging for these types of heinous acts.
