  1. Yes he was. Early on in the game he upended a blitzing DB and planted him on his a$$ allowing TT to make a play. Was one of my favorite plays of the game!!
  2. My only real worry about this is that I will have some streaming problems that have nothing to do with my internet connection, i.e. freezing, bad picture/sound quality, etc. I've streamed a lot of live concerts and once in awhile, a stream just has issues. I think in some of those cases, too many people login and it crashes servers. I am hoping that the NFL/Yahoo is ready for everyone in the world to tune in but I just have this feeling they will have issues. If it's a choppy connection, I'm going to be pissed.
  3. But, but, Rex said they are the present and the future!!!! Which of these issues is more correctable? TT doesn’t see open receivers and can’t/won’t step up into the pocket. EJ appears to see the open receivers more often but then he often throws low or behind them. As a result of these shortcomings, they both leave all sorts of plays/yards on the field, regardless of what the stats say. In theory, as TT gains experience, he should start to see the whole field better and be more comfortable in the pocket. Is there anything that EJ can do to improve his accuracy so he doesn’t get his receivers killed? If he hasn’t figured that out yet, I doubt he ever will.
  4. "How come no one will put their finger in my bum??" I didn't know Jeff Ross was a Bills fan.
  5. The note said: Tell the camera man to get those videos to Ernie ASAP. They changed their hand signals so we don’t know what they are going to do.
  6. Based on the thread with like 300 pages, surprised no love for Da'Rick Rogers.
  7. I disagree. One of our all time greats suiting up for the division rival is about as painful as it gets.
  8. TT did make some plays, moved the chains and was exciting but he needs to be able to throw the ball much better if he wants to be a starting NFL QB. Having more carries than completions against a backup defense is not a good sign imo. Good defenses will figure him out and cut down those running lanes. Plus the possibility of injury is much higher with his style. I am looking forward to see what he can do with and against the ones next week. AKA overthrew 2 deep balls. Hopefully next week he drops those right in the bread basket.
  9. My question, did they have those seats and then start dressing in costume or did they get those seats because they were dressing in costume? Whatever helps get the fans riled up and the Ralph rocking is all good by me. If dressing up helps you and those around you get fired up, go for it.
  10. 1. Bills 2. Mets 3. Sabres 4. Brockport Doggies Rugby 5. Duke
  11. These are in no particular order and I only included players I’ve actually seen play either in person or on TV. I didn’t want to include any players from before my time that I’ve only seen highlight reels on…and by my time, I mean from about 1985 (when I was 7). Andre Bennett Fred Jackson Thurman Moulds Moorman Kelly Tasker Dareus Sam Cowart Honorable mentions to Lee Evans and Tekeo Spikes.
  12. Seems to be a somewhat talented player but had some demons to battle and never reached his max potential. Now that he is sober and motivated to resume his career, is he worth adding into the mix? I say why not, you can never have too much competition. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000497531/article/report-exbroncos-guard-john-moffitt-to-return-to-nfl
  13. McCoy plays in less than half of the games due to injury.
  14. You're taking me back. I had both of those on my wall growing up.
  15. Lawson skipped because he just had a baby, so at least he had a really good excuse. I don't think it's a big deal for anyone to miss the voluntary workouts but if I were in their shoes, I’d be there competing and getting to know the staff. Especially if I were one of these 2 bubble players. There is probably more to it than we’re aware of. I don’t think the report of Lawson skipping to be with his baby came out until he showed up.
  16. Coy Wire. Thought he was an up and coming player after a solid rookie year and 2nd preseason. We signed Lawyer Milloy less than a week later.
  17. Not exactly. He was injured early on and as a result was never able to work his way back up the depth chart after that. So there was at least a reason he was so far down the depth chart. Same with Mike Williams. By all accounts he was lazy and didn’t put in the work required. If true, he has no one but himself to blame for not being on a roster right now. Urbik was a head scratcher, no idea why he wasn’t playing sooner. Goodwin is a heck of an athlete but in my opinion, Hogan is a better all around football player. I think which one makes the final cut, if either of them do, it will depend more so on what we keep at other positions. If we need to keep another of the core special teams guys, Hogan would make it over Goodwin. If we have enough other guys for that, then Goodwin makes it because you can’t teach speed.
  18. Regarding the 1st bolded point, I think this is the main point of contention between the 2 sides of this whole discussion. Some (the ones now being labeled ***Patriot*** lovers) defend the stance of it was a minor infraction and they really gained no advantage so not that big of a deal. I completely disagree because #1, breaking the rules to gain an advantage, no matter how small an advantage is still cheating & #2, while I do agree that it didn’t alter the outcome of the Colts game, you can’t convince me that was the 1st time they had ever messed with the pressure in a game ball and it likely did help alter the outcome of a previous game at some point in time. If it didn’t help them, they wouldn’t risk doing it. Regarding the 2nd bold point, this is why I don’t think either of them deserves to be considered the greatest of all time. Lombardi, Knoll, Montana, Bradshaw never got caught or were accused of cheating. Billy & Tommy have been caught twice now. I believe that will be a stain on both of their reputations forever.
  19. I disagree with just about everything you said in that last paragraph but I don’t want to hijack the thread so I’m not going to say anything more than why would they cheat if it didn’t help them? Being caught twice will stick with and tarnish them forever.
  20. Aren't these the same ones from a thread earlier this year??
  21. Yes, they play the Panthers again. Little disappointed it's in Buffalo so I won't be able to go but it'll be shown live on local TV here in the Charlotte region so that's good for me. Also, I see the Browns game will be on ESPN so that’s another one that I’ll be able to watch live. It’s not nearly as nice as last season when I got to go to the 1st 2 preseason games but I’ll take what I can get. It’s better than having to wait 4 days for the NFL network to rebroadcast.
  22. It’s got to be. The NFLPA won’t even allow teams to practice in pads in May yet they’d allow an exhibition game?? Highly doubtful. Had they said the game was in early August or something, then I could believe it.
  23. Set of 4 tires for less than $100!!! What a deal. But then AM/FM receiver for $229. That was a fortune back then.
  24. Guy has been on 4 teams in 2 years so I hope we're not counting on him being the #2 just yet. Granted he's got some athletic ability. I didn't realize he was a qb & wr in college so he is rather new to the position. I like pulling for the underdog and hope he can be a diamond in the rough but I hope we're not planning on throwing him into the fire without more options.
  25. Long term it's Kiko. Short term it's Shady. I voted long term. Shady is a superstar rb but how many years does he have left? He'll be starting his decline in 2 years if he hasn't started already.
