I have noted before that Losman did relatively quite well when the defense did its job. He certainly went into the season with the impression that the D would "have his back," and when they didn't, he fell victim to the pressure of "ooh, well, I gotta win this game myself now!"

Funny thing is that he won't even be breaking the record when he surpasses Ruth...he'll just be moving into second... Anybody else think that now is a perfect time to suspend him...?

I've watched CI a couple times on whatever cable station is showing it (A&E?), and all I get out of D'Onofrio's performance is a bad Columbo impression....to each his own I guess...

They'll probably have a bunch of pre-recorded street magic segments intertwined with "live updates," (which would include all the inane facts we didn't need to know about his "fish bowl), much like any other show with a "grand finale." Still not watching it.

Well, let's use process of elimination: JP will be gone, because he's a bust. Willis will be gone, because he has a bad attitude. Clements will be gone, because who wants Judas around? Josh Reed will be gone, because he drops 100% of the passes thrown to him. Peters will be gone, because if he gets moved to LT he'll demand to be paid like one. All our draft picks this year will be gone, because they are busts. Spikes will be gone because he'll only be playing at 97% of last year. Peerless will be gone because he didn't show up to the rookie mini-camp. Posey's gone because Crowell is taking over. Tough to tell, but at this point it looks like Mike Williams won't make the Bills roster this year... Am I down to 53 yet?

I don't think people are necessarily building altars in this "defensive attitude," it's more feeling targeted by the media when there are other teams who, by the same standards, "reached" as much if not more than we did...And while it might seem much to me, is Peerless' contract worse than Randel-El (or just about anyone the Skins signed)? Brian Williams? ESPN has decided to bash the Bills' every move, and it isn't necessarily about whether they are "right" or "wrong" as the pointless, deliberate, non-stop bashing...

And despite those numbers, we still had enough holes that we had to bring in a dozen or so free agents....

So you're saying the problem arises because the app is writing them out with the "wrong" permissions (execute on), and you have to manually change the permissions for the image server to serve them up? Harumph. And it doesn't work all the time in the source code, with no apparent pattern to when it does/doesn't fail....? Any chance that it never worked and it's actually just keeping the permissions of files that are being overwritten, the net effect being that generally "new" avatars would "not work" (permission 777) and "replacement" avatars (already at 666) would "work?"

Instead of cursing the darkness, why not try to light a candle every so often.
