  1. No, I think he means the cross-dressing former-QB freak...ya know, the one who wore fur coats on the sidelines?
  2. Well, if it was about maintaining QB ratings, perhaps they would have had him throwing in the red zone instead of running the ball. 5 TD's passing vs. 1 TD passing, 4 running is about a 30 point difference in QB rating.
  3. Apparently ESPN is claiming it was a Teleprompter malfunction. I couldn't believe it myself when I heard it. Anybody else get annoyed by her attempts to "masculinize" her voice with that "faux gravel?"
  4. I believe that's what Mularkey served up as the drink to go along with the cheeseburgers.... I'm sure the switchboard is lit up at the FCC...or did she wait until after 10:00 to say that?
  5. Well, to do that they'd have to beat the Bills which would ruin our chances anyway, regardless of Cinci's record. 9-7 will not make the playoffs...
  6. As far as Weiler goes, wonder no more: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=121&p=2&c=324039 You have to admit, he's consistent...
  7. I think there should be a group trip to Tahou's for the remaining home games. If a cheeseburger can do that for a team, imagine what a plate will do.
  8. As I posted in another thread, 6 McGahee starts=5 sacks (including the whiff by Henry in the St. Louis game). 5 Henry starts=22 sacks. I will say that the interior of the line has been particularly impressive. The interior penetration has decreased significantly.
  9. It wasn't too long into the game that I realized we were being outcoached and outplayed in every phase of the game. No matter who was at RB or QB. And it was the only time this year it has happened.
  10. Oh, you're right. So scratch my above sack stats and make it: Henry Starts: 4.4 sacks/game (1 every 7.6 drop backs), 0 100 yard running games McGahee Starts: 0.8 sacks/game (1 every 32 drop backs), 5 100 yard running games That's interesting....moving the Bal game from McGahee to Henry improved both of their stats. And yes, that includes the whiff by Henry in the St. Louis game as a sack during a McGahee start!
  11. The three drives I'm talking about were 71(TD), 51(TD), and 63(FG) yards.
  12. I still don't get why ICE is watching the games in a bar in Tulsa when he can be watching them at home using his satellite dish with the free Buffalo feed...?
  13. What about last week v. St Louis? Do you think it would have been a different game had we not passed our way to 17 points to even things up at the half, after the D had given up 17? And I still don't get how McGahee bailed Bledsoe out...the defense I could potentially understand, though the drive starts for the Seahawks weren't exactly generous, even when handed to them by Bledsoe. Forcing 3 and out when the intercepting team gets the ball in the red zone is "bailing out," not allowing a score after an interception touchback is a defense doing its job. Though they did get the 3rd int (coming on a "free drive") back.
  14. Actually, you will not only find a lot of continuity in the coaching staffs, but in the players on the line. Take a look at most of the consistent offenses and you will see at most one player in his first year starting in that position for that team. That actually makes the Chargers' performance even more amazing, as they are playing with a completely revamped line (though I guess they needed it!).
  15. Read the words: ICE guarantees that Bledsoe will not lead the team to a Super Bowl victory. If that is your recipe for a Lombardi Trophy, then the ICE-man will be right. That's the beauty of his words. Remember, yesterday we won by "putting the ball in McGahee's hands, not Bledsoe's." So Bledsoe would have to have a 57/57, 600 yard, 8 TD performance in the Super Bowl for ICE to consider him the "leader."
  16. I call games like that the "Toilet Bowl." Yes, unfortunately, the Bills have played in a few in recent years as well, including the first Miami game this year...
  17. Hey, Mike, nice to see you again show yourself as not "just another Pats troll." Appreciate you giving credit where credit is due...
  18. Another way to put it coach is that Willis has great field vision. If the play's not working, he'll look for something opening up and take the chance. Doesn't always work, but when it does... Henry would have just kept trying to move the pile.
  19. When they lose it's the players. When they win, it's the coaching: http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20041129/1025283.asp Looking around to see what his e-Son, Mark ""Humpty" Weiler had to say...
  20. Add to that: Henry Starts: 4.5 sacks/game (1 every 7 drop backs), 0 100 yard running games McGahee Starts: 1.3 sacks/game (1 every 20.7 drop backs), 5 100 yard running games The line combination has been found and has gelled, but the key to beating the constant blitzes that teams have been throwing at us the last two years is to beat those blitzes, and that involves good help in the backfield...
  21. Once again I find myself rueing that we weren't moved to the AFC North.... I would not cry about having to face defensive powerhouses Cleveland and Cincinnati (what happened to D genius Marvin Lewis?) twice/year....
  22. You could offer the first olive branch by changing your avatar....
  23. For the first time I think we all agree that Moorman was a lazy slacker today and does not deserve a game ball...1 friggin' punt...how much do we pay this guy?
  24. You just dodged a bullet, CentralVaBills...
  25. oh, and they "almost" scored some touchdowns, and we "almost" didn't score most of ours, so they net is that the Bills "almost" lost.
