  1. I would not mind the losses if they looked like they were improving. I think there were some positive things in this game. Our special teams worked well on our returns. They sucked covering though. Moorman punted well. I thought Fletcher played very inspired and very well. I think we do have the makings of a good defense. However our offence is sick both in terms of coaching and the qb position. Bledsoe is just plain bad guys. He can not react quickly enough to blitzes and pressure. Brady is a perfect example of a qb that is in control and cool under pressure. He can adjust on the fly and thats something that Bledsoe is not capable of. The play that ended it when Bledsoe fumbled was a example of poor coaching. Why in the hell would they let a slow witted and even slower footed qb drop back when you know the Pats would be bringing it hard? Why not a quick slant or a quick out pass to the TE just to get the first? But even with the bad play calling it was pretty typical for Drew to cough it up at that critical time. He is a expert at losing. Doing the wrong things at exactly the right time.
  2. Well we still may not hang. Brady is starting to read the blitz. If we cant get a rush without blitzing it could be a bad half. Hoping that doesnt happen.
  3. Well I dont know you so I hate to be the first to say it but yes. Your CRAZY We have a better team than the Patswho have won two Super Bowls?? The same team that lost to the Raiders and the Jags at home? I admire your loyalty but ...cmon
  4. Well,Madden2005 has been eeriely accurate so far in my season. Including losing to the Jags at home 18-17 on the last play of the game. Then, the offence was miserable in a 27-7 loss to the Faiders. However I did manage to play over my head and beat the Pats 13-10 at home in a close defensive battle. Dont get to enthused about that though because I lost the next week to the Jets 35-10 and Martin ran wild on me :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  5. They played out here a couple of weeks ago with Tears For Fears. Couldnt see it but it would have been cool. Really like Moriessey and the Smiths but its definitely not for all tastes. Pretty refined lyrics and music. I think most on this board are into classic rock so your post will be lost on alot of peeps here
  6. I tell you I watched most of the Arz/Atl game only because of fantasy football interests. Vick stunk. That guy is so overated its unbelievable. He has no pocket awareness. He has no concept of the qb position. His first instinct is to run as he gives his primary recievers a courtesy look then starts searching for a outlet to run. This was against the Cardinals!!! Im not a big Peerless guy either but I would tend to side with him on this one. Bad grammar or not.
  7. Man bring back Art Wander. Was that his name? He was so bad he was actually very entertaining. I used to enjoy him when I lived in the area. A little unique charachter. Definitely not your cookie cutter espn radio type clone taking head.
  8. I dont think its that hard to get guys. I just saw it out here at Fry's bundled with another movie("The Transporter" another good flick imho) for $19.99. I was actually going to get it because I heard how good it was but I ended up getting the Clerks X: Tenth aniverseray edition instead.
  9. Wager perhaps?
  10. Forgot Repo Man. How could I!!! Man its my favorite special edition dvd. http://www.videoranch.com/Merchant2/mercha...&Store_Code=VRS Just had to get it. Comes with the Repo Man sound track cd(which is fantastic btw if your iinto LA punk.) Hell Suicidal Tendencies " Institutionalized" and "When the stevestojan hits the fan" by The Circle Jerks is worth it alone. Also comes with a Repo Man Comic Book type thing as well. Nice set.
  11. Exactly what I was thinking when I was watching Manning today. Green Bay tried to blitz him over and over again and Peyton handled it. He burned the blitz. Now it could be the Bills dont have decent recievers. Ones that read that a blitz is coming and make adjustments to thier routes so Drew can dump it off quickly. This is what happened to Brees today in his game with the Broncos. They blitzed him alot as well but it appeared that he wasnt getting any help from his wide outs.
  12. Cool. Sorry I cant help you with the hotel thing. I used to live in Burlington, Ont(only a hour away from Rich) so I never had to stay overnight in Buffalo.
  13. Damn thats the movie I wanted to see yesterday but wifey wanted to see "The Forgotten" so thats what we saw. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: grrrrr
  14. Sounds interesting. Something other than the usual Hollywood movies for the masses is always cool.
  15. Whats your favorite non Hollywood independent movie. Here's three of my favs. Clerks(obvious) Dead Pet American Movie
  16. Ah I mean is wasnt a total bomb. Just solidly mediocre. It was like a 90 min X-Files episode only not as good and Julianne Moore isnt as cute as Gillian Anderson.
  17. Damn rent a mohome and stay at the stadium parking lot. Have fun bro. Going to a Bills game and tailgating is a fantastic NFL experience. Its the only thing I miss about living back east. Where in California are you?
  18. She's spectacular.
  19. This movie was flatter than my first girlie friends chest. Totally predictable and not terribly well acted, despite Julie Moore. IMHO this movie is well titled because I think I'll forget it by tommorow morning.
  20. Wow. Could'nt have said that any better. Well done.
  21. Agree with you in part. The tiny rinks have nothing to do with it though. If the NHL enforced interference, holding and general clutch and grab the game would be great again. Get rid of the center ice line and all will be good. Also, Bettman must go. His focus on securing the holy grail that is a lucrative national US tv contract is putting the cart before the horse. He has totally ingnored the game itself in the pursuit of marketing. First the NHL must get its game watchable again and shore up regional ratings. Then try selling it nationally. To do that they have to let the skilled players play and forget the europeon trap clutch and grab style of play. JMHO Sam
  22. I dont understand the why people reach the conclusion that this is going to kill the NHL. Its not like they havent striked before. I think there is a chance that some teams may go under because of this but to me thats a upside. There are too many teams as it is in cities that have no business having one. If 4 or 5 teams go down so be it. It will improve the quality and depth of the other teams.
  23. I truly am. But being loyal doesnt mean to blindly ignore the obvious and support a team that should be doing better. Whats so dis heartening about the Bills as a organization is they continue to make the same mistakes. Two conistent flaws persistently plague this team. Firstly, their refusal to build top notch offensive and defensive lines. Even after getting literally pushed around by superior fronts on both sides of the ball in all four Super Bowls, we dont learn. Our O line especially contiunes to be awful. Hasnt been a good one since. Secondly, why do the Bills always go cheap on head coaches?? From the Jim Ringos and Hank Bulloucks(forgot his name go figure), Kay Stephensons to Greg Williams. Not sure if Levy was cheap or not be its not like he was that great anyway.
  24. yea, yea "What if, what if" If I won $50million I could do this and do that but that isnt going to happen. Bills have zero chance of beating the Pats. They cant beat two sub par teams like the Jags and Faiders no way they are going to beat a two time Super Bowl winner. Only chance is that the Pats come out so overconfident that they feel they dont have to try at all. Face it. Bills suck ass. And im as loyal fan as there is.
