Could be lots of things. First make sure its plugged in correctly. Is it a USB mouse? If so and you are using the USB port try another port OR you can use the ps2 adapter that came with it and use the ps2 port instead. If its cordless its possible the batteries are going on you. Make sure correct drivers are installed for the mouse. If they are old you can always go to the manufacturers site and get new, updated ones. It's also possible, if its the old style ball type mouse, that it is dirty and needs cleaning.

Is this just within the web browser? Does it do weird stuff iin other apps?

Seriously. Not since the dark days of Howard Cosell have I been motivated to turn the tv sound down and find a radio broadcast of the game. Both the espn and abc crews(except for Al Micheals) are beyond annoying. I would like to see either a tivo/dss option that lets you turn mouthpieces off and just have the ambient stadium sounds audible. In addition you would have to have more stats viewable to keep up to date with the game but they would just be visible between plays. I remember way back that one of the networks tried doing this with a NHL game once (on a saturday and the game was between the Bruins and Flyers I think) and it really was pretty cool. The sound was enhanced and I didnt miss the announcers at all. Now I think, as far as the NHL goes, I would miss the Hockey Night In Canada crew because they are some of the best play by play guys around. But as far as the NFL goes nothing would be missed. Anyway, just thought I would throw this idea out there.

I agree with you on the old stuff. Pretty lame stuff. Horrible voices certainly cant be said about todays country though. Some of the women singers have beautiful voices(among other things). I'll take them over the annoying high pitched squaking Christina Agulara(sp) or that other french chick from Quebec.

The big improvment and bang for the buck comes from the fact that the memory controller is built into the cpu as apposed to being on the mobo. Yes your right, no real 64 bit apps out there but the performance increase from the onboard memory controller is huge.

Sorry about the typo Frez. Here is a great review of all the top mobos for amd 64 (Socket 939). http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2128&p=1 Im not sure if you are aware but there are two basic flavors of 64 bit cpu's. The older version Socket 754 and the newer standard, Socket 939. Both require their own mobo. So you have to put a Socket 939 in a Socket 939 mobo. Right now the 939's are a bit more expensive. The thing is the Socket 754's are being phased out. They are only going to be upgradable up to 3800 I believe while the Socket 939s will go higher. So if you are the type to want to throw in a stronger chip later this may matter to you. If it doesnt than the 754s will do nicely. Anyway. Sorry for the rambling. I tend to do that when talking about this stuff. In the end you almost never go wrong with a Asus board. They have a reputation for being one of, if not the most stable board around and I think it gets a close second out of nine in that reiview that I posted Also, in regards to your second question, I have a eVGA Nvidia 6800GT video card. Not that at all. Goodenow is a old school union guy. Very stuborn and will never give a inch. Thats why this particular disbute is armageddon as he will could never accept a cap system. I really hope (in a way)that the season gets canned and some of the weak sisters are weeded out. It will improve the overall quality and stability of the league. I guess it will mean no sports for me this winter though. I can't watch the NBA without wanting to scratch my eyes out. Oh well.
