Aint that the truth. Honestly, we were going to lose that game yesterday until the fumble on Miami's final drive. A marginal fumble btw. We were very lucky because the Dolphins were starting to move the ball on us easily as the game wore on. I was sure it was going to be another loss the way the defence was giving up yardage.

Every single one of you guys know squat
Dante replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly what I had them at. Hopefullly it turns out that well with Losman improving learning from taking his lumps. What really concerns me is the play of the defence and it's apparent lack of toughness up front. No matter how much the offence comes around this defence, in its current state, is going to be the bigger problem. -
Chargers? Pats? Chiefs? Im a optimist by nature and technically, yes of course they can make a run. But I dont see any charachteristic within the Bills that they actually can. I would be behind you totally if the D was performing as anticipated but they look average at best. Sorry man. I hope im wrong. Time to let Losman play and pay his dues. Next season he may be ready. Im hoping for a Carson Palmer type deal.

It's possible that I was expecting too much. This movie is getting alot of positive press and I guess I was hoping for the next Alien or Thing. And I cant really say that there has been a better sci fi movie made in the last few years. I think the only one I could say was clearly more entertaining from a story point of few was the last Star Wars one. Id say that was better. But what the hell, too each his own.

Problems with Bills-Saints Sunday ticket
Dante replied to Mr Info's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The way they played last week it may well be a blessing in disguise. Im kidding. Sort of. If they were to look just as bad against the Saints, I'll be convinced that we are at least 3 years away from contending. -
Just because we have problems elsewhere doesnt hide the fact that Drew was also a problem. He was and still is merely average at best.

Guys, I gotta say. I went to see it tonight and I was underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, it did'nt suck, but it was'nt anything special. As far as I was concerned it was pretty formulatic. Nothing really inovative and at times the acting seemed amateurish. Not trying to be the devils advocate I went inot the movie pretty psyched looking for the next great thing in sci-fi. Fella's, this isnt it. Maybe if you are a fan of the series it means something different dont know.

Did'nt really care for "The Longest Yard" . Football movies, generally speaking, are usually pretty predictable and heavely cliche'd. That said I was pleasantly surprised at "Friday Night Lights" My wife dragged me into the family room to watch it all the time me whining how lame football movies are. This one was very good though with Billy Bob Thorton.

Count me as one of the pro Napoleon. And the others are right. When I first saw the movie I didnt know what to think of it. I didnt really want to watch it the second time but had a few beers and got talked into it. I laughed my ass off. I think Ive watched it maybe three times since.

And you know thats coming sooner rather than later. Vick is a perfect example of marketing a "star".

Im a big horror/sci-fi movie fan. I settled down to watch Ju-on on DTV a few months ago and I honestly couldnt get through it. Not because it was bad but because it was giving me the jitters. Too creepy for me. At least it was that day. Maybe I was just too sensitive that day or something but I was by myself just laying in bed watching in during the day. No reason to get too creeped out but that is a eerie flick. The last time I can remember being that freaked out over a horror flick was "Blair Witch Project". I was visiting my mother who, by coincidence, lives out in the woods(nice house btw) outside of Huntsville, Ont. A couple hundred miles north of Toronto. Point is, in the middle of no where in the woods, totally black outside about 12 midnight watching this thing. Again by myself.

Bills fans, more than most others, should know how much a offensive line means and how overated a qbs importance is. Two pretty average qbs beat us in Hostetler and the other guy Rypien in Super Bowls. I would venture to say that Kelly was better than both those guys? Rypien was the MVP in his. How in the hell did that happen?

The key to building a winner is, and always will be, having a good line on both sides of the ball. It's that simple.

Im with you marconi. Those were LOL funny. I am a long time true Bills fan who wants nothing more but see them win, but you cant take this **** too serious. Come on people lighten up.

Well, Im one to always see a silver lining. I hope that through all this turmoil and hastle that you come out ahead on your house. Maybe in the insurance settlement you can actually upgrade things. Fridge, stove, ummmm 70" HD Plasma screen!!

I love the bit on Demi Moore and Ashton Kutchner below it as well.

I think I agree. Bills should stick with JP and trust the scouts that drafted him. Even if we had Peyton Manning at qb were still not winning the SB or even making the playoffs.
-
Hey let him go. It's nice to see a little cultural input on the board.

Why is it I ask if the O Line is so BAD....
Dante replied to 40+ Year Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not that the Pats havent got BS calls before in abundance, especially against the Bills. That is'nt the reason here though. They're qb is awsome and I really think the play callilng is far more intelligent than the Bills. In yesterdays game vs the Steelers they went down the field to get the winning fg like it was nothing. The pass'es to Faulk and Pass that got then into fg position was so typical. Fooled everyone and they make it look so easy. That can only be play calling (and a good personal to execute of course) and its something the Bills still havent mastered. -
If the Bills drafted him everyone could blame Bush for us being crappy!
-
Sure it does. Isnt it better if they are 1-2 rather than 3-0? Even if we are 1-2?
-
Were you referring to this? "Vanek looks great, 30 goals as a rookie would not be a shock, but it is against subpar competition thus far." I was thinking the same thing while I was reading. Leave it to a jaded Bills fan to find a negative in something like this.

Man that hi res pic wasnt worth the download. I want my 8 seconds back!

I do follow the Sabres somewhat though. Have a soft spot for them because I used to go to a lot of games at the Aud when I was younger during the French Connection days. That must count for something, no?

We print those things all the time. Not the Ron Mexico print but other stuff. Last week week we printed "Ryde It" for a bike event on thongs.
