Hell ya. All Jacky used to do is laugh that stupid laugh in the background when someone else was funny. Maybe the guy was a good writer for the show but offered no entertainment value at all as far as a on air personality. Arty is 10 times as funny.

Well all entertainment is geared to sell **** so whats the difference? Howard is on for 5 hours so he's bound to be pushing something. Hell, watch any NFL game and they beat you over the head with commercials until its pretty much unwatchable. At least Howards "infomercials" are entertaining.

Was nice to see the Sabres own the Flyers. I cant stand Clarke. The Ottawa/Sabres game will make for a nice first double header game for me on Saturday. Hope Buffalo kicks Ottawa's a$$

Eckman was a steel from the Rangers. Sharks gave up Chad Weisman to get him. When watching the games that guys sticks out all the time. I guy on the Sabres I think is similar in that regard is Afeniganov. I know the spelling isnt correct. As far as the goaltending goes I think your fairly close to the mark. Nabokov is has been exceptionally solid the last couple seasons but this year his has been inconsistent. Thankfully, the Sharks have Toskla who has been very good. Its too bad SJ is in a bad a$$ division because they may not make the playoffs. All the teams they are chasing keep winning and the Sharks absolutely suck in shootouts. 1-6 with another shootout loss last night vs Minnesota.

ah c'mon. We knew we were sinking fast with Bledsoe. If we didnt take a chance and go with Losman we would suck even more. Id rather go down swinging than acccept certain death with The Statue. I still support the decision to go with JP and anyhow the jury is still out on him. He may pull it together next season we just dont know yet.

Sharks have one of the most NA player content in the league. Also, next to Ottawa, they have the most Shark drafted players starting. Not too many FA's. Thats nice. Very good management in SJ. This is in stark contrast to the Leafs. Problem with the Leafs is they dont HAVE to have a good team to survive. Place is full regardless. They get the huge local TV contracts regardless. Sharks, and the Sabres management for that matter, have to work thier asses off to get fans in the seats. Highly motivated management

I have been teh last couple years but not anymore. We just switched to 4X10 hour days and Monday is our day off.

You know, I have to admit, this phenomenon is happening to me. I am a Leaf fan since a kid but since moving to the Bay Area I find myself becoming more of a San Jose Shark fan. It helps that the Sharks are a much better team but i dont think that has anything to do with it. Soon Im sure I will be a full blown Shark fan. In fact, last season(before the lockout) the Leafs made a rare appearence at the HP Pavillion and I wore my Nolan Leaf jersey. That game I was kinda feeling torn. Its developed further now though. I find myself looking forward much more to Shark games.

Harry Neale and Joe Bowen are among the best announcers in the NHL. Bowen could easily be the HNIC play by play guy nationally.

Well its hard to blame Pitt for us being bad. I mean, they did play thier second stringers and still owned us. They did thier part for the Bills to win. I did go to a Bills-Steelers pre season game once and we were stuck with a family of Steeler fans including thier two mouthy, screaming kids that never shut up. No amount of beers could dull the shrill of those rotten lil sons of bitches either! Ever since then I have disliked the Steelers. Seattle is a very nice city and the Seahawks have never been so I would like to see them win. Seattle and the hawks are very non offensive.

Willis shouldnt be renegotiating anything. He's lucky he's getting what he is. Nothing special about him as a running back as far as im concerned. If I were the Bills I would be investing as much cash and time as I can afford into the lines on both sides of the ball.

I agree with you LA all things being equal. But there not. If the Bills didnt have a long and consistent history of going cheap on coaching and making bad management decisions, I would listen to what you are saying and keep my mouth shut. Exactly what ive been saying. It all starts at the top and the choice for gm was a red flag for me. Not that Marv is a bad guy he just isnt a long term, solid choice that I would have liked. Also, hiring a 80 plus rookie gm just doesnt right to me. Marv's hire was a desperate decision by a aging, incapable owner.

What could ever possess Miami to hire him? The Dolphins, as much as I hate to admit it, are on the upswing. Why would they want to bring in failure to occupy such a important position on the staff? Maybe thats why the Dolphins havent won anything in over 30 years.

But you cant ignore the championship history of the English. Their imperialistic gameplan owned the league for centuries. Surely that proud pedigree could be very usefull in the NFL. Yes, after the road loss to the Americans the English have never been able to win the division but the potential is certainly there.

I think in this day and age, considering the pressure to win and the money involved, color is no object. Myself, as a owner, having a competitive team would far outweigh any personal predijuces I may have. Hell, if it bothered an employer that much he wouldnt have black players either. Im sure it has happened before sure. But now, any time a black coach isnt hired, racism is the assumed to be the primary reason.
