  1. Well it's a good thing they did'nt cut em before his third year because he had 27 td passes with only 7 picks to go with a qb rating of 104.
  2. He should be a politician or a lawyer with that kind of spin action
  3. In a way I feel sorry for her. This may have been posted before but its the first time I have seen it. She really can't be this stupid can she? She just seems so pathetic it's sad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB84A3zcmVo
  4. I didnt start this thread as a comparison to the Bills. Just a comment on Brees. I never said anything about Losman, you did. I honestly dont know what to think of JP. What I see isnt good. Is it the line? Coaching, or him? I dont know enough to say really. Im not a coach or a NFL gm. All I know and all I said was that Brees looked good. It took him 3 years. So what. Hopefully JP looks so good after his 3rd year here.
  5. So Brees is average and their oline is why they scored 31 points on the road? Not saying thier oline isnt decent just saying that Brees is a very good qb thats all.
  6. ..much as I am? Im not up on the cap room thing but would he have been signable by the Bills? He is starting to look like one of those qb's that has "it". I mean they type that has that little bit of magic to pull out wins. Get things done when it means the most. In the 4th quarter of the Steeler game yesterday with the Saints down by 14 he brought them back to score a td. When all recievers were covered he scrambled around until someone got open and found him. Saints stop Pittsburgh, get the ball back and Brees starts bring the Saints up the field again. It was really looking like he was going to pull it off but two beautiful passses were dropped that would have put New Orleans inside the 20 with a time out left. One drop by Copper and the other by Colston. He also ended up 31/47 for 398 yds. Hell thats 3 games worth of passing for our outfit.
  7. I guess the only guy that is reallly good in his roll is the A-Train. Pretty good second back but beyond that? Parrish may be valuable some day. Pretty slim pickens
  8. Yes because he was "Simply the best athlete available"
  9. Just a thought. How much of this is related too ultra conservative play calling? I admit I didnt see the game but did listen to about 3/4s of it on Sirius( I was working) . On the Bills first drive they got down to the Colt 12 yard line and ran 3 times. The big play to get down there was a pass to Evans. Even our announcers on the radio(cant remember who it is but is the color guy) had the attitude to kind of "Don't make a mistake" so we could at least get a field goal. But im thinking "wtf is that?" With the Bills anemic offense should we be trying to maximize our scoring chances? Im mean, going against teh Colts you know they are going to get their points. I thought they were going to score much more than they did but that proves my point even more. If the Bills would have punched that in for a td they may have won the game. Also, the other D;s know when were going to run on first down and probably second down. When its 3rd and long JP has to throw putting our already shakey OLIne and an even bigger disadvantage.
  10. I don't have much support on this one millbank but I respect your opinion on hockey more than any other on this board. Quality not quantity I guess. I disagree that these hits were legal. The Williams and Michalek hits were way late and the players were very vulnerable because of it. They werent expecting to get nailed. Torres elbowed Iginla on his hit even if it wasnt a charge or late. Anyway, Torres will get his and I hope it's a "clean hit" just like he likes to deliver. In fact, I hope its a carreer ending one. This is a good quote from probably the god of hockey Orr. "I don't want to see hitting taken out of the game, I love hitting in hockey," Orr told TSN, "but if someone puts his shoulder into a player's face, if he puts anything -- an arm, an elbow, a glove -- I think that player should get a penalty. Definitely, it should be a penalty. We are having players getting knocked unconscious before they even hit the ice and carried off on stretchers. How can that be legal? When did hitting someone in the head with your shoulder or any part of your body become part of the rules? Anything above the neck, it's wrong.
  11. I really am getting old. I don't know who Tenacious D is.
  12. Well if "pussificatin" means you don't like elbows to the head then call me a kitty. Iginla hit was clearly a elbow.
  13. You know, as creepy as the concept of the song is, the guys voice isnt too bad for a bank exec.
  14. He took a pretty long run at Iginla for it to be clean. His elbow seemed to be up as well. With this guy its pretty hard to give the benifit of the doubt. The video quality is poor on that one though.
  15. Man I hope this guy gets his soon. He's at it again. This prick tries to injure. Pure !@#$. He'll get his. Too bad Domi retired. He used to like to f guys like this up. Michalek Iginla Finally last night vs Detroit and Williams God damn he's a c**k**ker. Love the biased announcer on the Williams hit. "BTW that was a clean hit" Oh yeah dipsh--? A tad fuggin late don't you think?
  16. I like the Santa Clara option. It's nice down there. Weather would be better too. Candlestick is a pain to get at. I hate having to go over there. My wife has a spinster aunt that we have to go see sometimes and the SF airport is there as well. Both can be a nightmare to get to crossing the Bay bridge.
  17. "Honey, Im not getting Sunday Ticket next year. I'll just get used to watching the Niners l" Said by me at 12.09 PDT after watching Losman getting sacked yet again. The resulting fumble setting up Peyton for yet another TD pass to Wayne and a relaxing 31-6 3rd quarter Colt lead.
  18. MXC=Best Show Ever!
  19. Britney was hot before they decided to market her as a slut. I remember seeing a music show of some kind showing behind the scenes at one of her rehersals in Toronto. No, or very little make up wearing a ash t-shirt and tightish jeans. Totally natural and totally hot.
  20. WTF is up with that show period!!! Shame on you for watching it.
  21. Sorry, I thought the guy was a UFA. Didnt know he would cost that much. No, I wouldnt give up 2 #1s for him. On a side note. I think I would rather have him than Vick from the Falcons.
  22. Never said to give up on Losman. But it couldnt hurt to have a competent qb in camp could it? I mean, Losman was given the job unconditionally last season so why not give the guy some competition for once? Just because he was a #1 pick doesnt mean we have to be married to the guy for more than a couple seasons. And niether Holcomb or Nall can be considered decent starting qb candidates imho.
  23. If Buffalo can go into Miami and own the Dolphins than most certainly the Bears should shut out Miami in Chicago and beat them by at least 3 tds. Really your probably right. Denver should handle the Faiders, but in todays watered down equalized NFL absolutely nothing is for sure. The only game that I see which is close to a sure thing is the Bills/Colts one.
  24. From that list I think I like Shaub. Really, when given the chance, he's done pretty well. This is from the Falcons web site. 2005 Season (Falcons) Saw action in all 16 games with one start and completed 33 of 64 passes for 495 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Also rushed nine times for 76 yards (8.4 avg.). Played in fourth quarter for an injured Vick at Seattle (9/18) and converted a two-point conversion to TE Alge Crumpler. Entered the contest vs. Minnesota (10/2) with eight minutes remaining in the second quarter because of an injury to Vick (knee) and completed 5 of 14 passes for 39 yards. Also rushed four times for 56 yards. Made second career start vs. New England (10/9) in place of Vick (knee) and completed 18 of 34 passes for 298 yards with three touchdowns. Posted career-highs in completions, yards and touchdown passses and finished the game with a 112.1 passer rating. Led fourth quarter comeback from 15-point defecit to tie the game at 28-28 with four minutes remaining. Saw action in the fourth quarter vs. New Orleans (12/12) and completed 1 of 2 passes with the only completion being a 48-yard pass to Crumpler, which set up a K Todd Peterson field goal. Played in the second half vs. Carolina (1/1) and completed 9 of 13 passes for 110 yards with one touchdown. Also converted second two-point conversion of the season as he connected with WR Brian Finneran.
