  1. Because the ocean is salty and that costs a lot of money for desalination... Rich don't get rich by spending money...😉😜 Anyway....They'd have to pump it up a ~1,000' to reach Lake Mead's elevation. You'd think that there would be a way to recapture spent hydro water. I suppose the energy balance to pump it back into pumped storage would be to great... ??
  2. Sure sounds like it's equipment. The original design of Hard Rock didn't have that equipment. It was added 30 years later... Just like adding heated benches. They added the roof and only one team, the home team benefits from it. It's not structural. It can be taken off.
  3. Without the invention of mechanical AC, WHICH coincidentally was invented in Upstate/BFLo, New York... The Sunbelt would be uninhabitable... Probably wouldn't have 3/4 of it's population. Go figure...
  4. Yet... Like the Jets, Mets, Nets (coincidence they sound the same) do not have a majority of their teams fans in any county in the US. Not one county has a majority of their fans! It's always another team: Giants, Yankees, Knicks...
  5. The Dolphins know they are gaming the equity rule with their new roof. The League should force them to at very least switch sides at halftime if the team can't provide equal shade. No different than turning benches on. Here's the dig, the rub... They know what they are doing: Check out this dig from McDaniel: "You don't really prepare for it besides mentally deciding whether it's going to matter to you, or not," McDaniel said. "To me, you just decide whether you're going to let it factor in or not, and then you adjust as best you can. There's certain things that become harder when there's moisture or it hits a certain level of frigidness. But the good news is that there's not different atmospheres on both sidelines. We will be playing the game in the same elements." THERE were literally different atmospheres in Miami between the sidelines back in late September!
  6. Again... How can Miami use the stadium roof for shade and the visitors aren't afforded the same thing? Aren't they using something the other team isn't? And portable tents don't count. Both teams should have the same equipment. The stadium roof in Miami is no different as equipment when compared to heated benches.
  7. Isn't that how they scored in September vs. Poyer-less Bills in Miami. Vertical middle...
  8. I think Devin Singletary has the potential in a snow game. Blocking not great... But the conditions might get him through to more daylight with conditions not being conducive for good blocking really needed. He just needs to find daylight...
  9. Amazing... Just imagine if States pulled that crap with signs like that today! People would lose whatever minds they have left... Especially if they applied it to ClimateChange refugees, citizen or not... I mean... It's over-populated... What's gonna happen to SW if Lake Mead gets to dead pool? Do they have a power plan?
  10. Just think how welcoming States like California and Arizona were in the 1930s, even our own citizens: Now I guess with places like Lake Mead drying up, they gotta walk back?
  11. I didn't know! RIP @The Senator and Mike Leach...🙏
  12. All danger zones shouldn't be as heavily populated as they are. Unsustainable. At the very least, tie funding to these specific populations. People walked out of the Dust Bowls to these places... The coasts, mountains, deserts... They can walk back. OR....Impose an income tax in these places if they don't want to be controlled by the Fed purse strings. Gotta start making it a disincentive to live in the unsustainable places. They have been cooking the books with water sustainability in the SW since the start... It's finally catching up with then. Too much growth, unsustainable resources.
  13. How hard is it to run a rollup sun shade in tracks around this hole? If that home team has shade, shouldn't the visiting team under the equity rule... OR just swap sides at halftime. This roof is no different than one team having heated benches and the other that doesn't. I believe SoFi has a shade roof?
  14. My brother was at a Jax game in September... Fans were dropping like sacks of wet cement... 😆 That might be the game!
  15. Shaving soap, foam gets the hair to stand up. Have you tried an old-school shaving brush and soap mug? If you don't get the hair to stand up, straight out, it runs the risk of becoming ingrown. That's what causes the razor bumps. Old school shave cream foam primary objective, I believe, is to do that. Same with working it in with a shaving brush.
  16. And the biggest cooling device that the Dolphins are using is their stadium roof which is not afforded to the visitor... If they are using it, why can't the visitors. Only solution right now: Change sides at halftime. You'd think the roof falls under same equity rule as fans and misters...?
  17. "We come on the sloop John B My grandfather and me Around Nassau town we did roam Drinking all night Got into a fight Well I feel so broke up I want to go home..."
  18. Yeah... Because old school foam is getting the hair to stand up. It's most likely hair getting ingrown. It's cut, then grows back under the skin. You want the hair as straight as possible out before it's cut.
  19. There's a hole in roof... Why not a retractable "SunSetter" type thing/shade... In 1987... It was more equal. It's the new roof that creates the safety hazard. They protect the fans, HomeTeam, but not the visiting team...
  20. We come from the land of the ice & snow From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow The hammer of the gods will DRIVE our ships to new lands...
