  1. R.I.P... What's the "real L.A. sound?" 1963: The Mamas & the Papas 1967: The Doors...
  2. Same with semis or big trucks. Last thing I need is a stone on the windshield!
  3. And if it can't be self-sustaining, then we as tax payers should be forced to make it self-sustaining. The PO is the cornerstone of free society. Like somethings... πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰... It's inherently governmental. You can't get rid of it and let the other two non-governmental companies be the only show in town. I think you missed my post above about NOT becoming a society to the elites. The USPS serves a public check to the other big two. All a fruitless effort... It ain't going anywhere being it's the cornerstone of society.
  4. The PO is funded only by price of stamps. NOT your tax dollars. A first class letter to my neighbor OR Point Barrow, Alaska cost the same. Of course it's gonna lose money. Should a letter to Alaska from the Lower 48 cost $40? Once again... You have roads because of the Post Office.
  5. No. It's constitutionally mandate. The roads you drive on are basically free because of the P.O. It's the first thing we do when we nation build. Build a P.O. Unless you want to live in an elitist world... Libraries and Post Office aren't going anywhere. They are the top 2 institutions in a free society.
  6. Great "WaterPark" in Montpelier too! I hear the flume is a heck of a ride! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜œ Too soon???
  7. I don't think it's the leaders... It's the failure of meritocracy and the fraud that it is. The well off familyies are doing okay through the generations. They always have The leisure class aren't leaving at younger ages like they left generations ago... They are staying on and getting their kids set up. FWIW... Another name for Millennial is "Echo Boomer" because they are echoing their Boomer parents
  8. Lactose intolerance?
  9. That's Mensa land! Whatya you a goose?
  10. Very smoothly... lol They got nobody else to blame for disparaging themselves BUT themselves. They wanted to leave the Union and carry on with their evil ways. Just imagine a "Balkanized United States" going forward from the 1860s on. πŸ˜•
  11. Not really. NYS changed quickly, even before the international slave trade was abolished. The Northwest Ordinance as one of the first acts of Congress, reaffirmed from The Articles, 1787... Made the Northwest forever free in 1789. Maybe you are thinking about the Army of Virginia capturing African Americans at Gettysburg and sending them into slavery in The South? Pennsylvania was always free.
  12. Vermonters, FWIW, are in the top (#12) that drive the most in the United States, you'd think they'd be good at it! https://stacker.com/business-economy/states-where-people-drive-most New York State #50. NYS residents drive the least. More than 1/2 the population lives in NYC. I am calling BS on knowing rules, you must be getting them confused with an Upstater from Buffalo or Rochester... They actually drive there. 😏
  13. Outta business in 1762. We weren't even a country πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ for another 14-19 years! It took Georgia what? Another 100 years and they had to be forced...
  14. The guy is accused of homicide, kidnapping, burglary, and setting his inlaw's vehicle on fireπŸ”₯... How can you be rooting for him??? He ain't Clyde of "Bonnie & Clyde" fame busting into a bank and burning your mortgage papers! LoL... 😳
  15. Then there is my older sister... Vrrooom, I guess she's doing it right at the merge point... But it's the edge of entitlement that grinds my gears: "They'll let me in, I'm a woman!" πŸ˜†πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ /wallbash
  16. Because you're suppose to merge at the merge point. Zipper it up. Take your turn, use all lanes available! Some areas actually use a sign and arrow: MERGE HERE...
  17. Sometimes a battery box, especially the lithium ones struggle with a very dead battery. AND gotta be careful with them... Overheating... Not on Amazon... BUT these will crank anything from a good battery: Solid copper: https://store.polarwire.com/jumper-booster-cable-1-0-ga-25-ft-commercial-heavy-duty-all-copper/ Solid Cu Amazon sells: https://www.amazon.com/Forney-52878-Battery-Jumper-25-Feet/dp/B003X3U8BC/ref=mp_s_a_1_31?keywords=solid+copper+jumper+cables&qid=1689284399&s=automotive&sr=1-31 Check out the prices! OUCH! 😒😭
  18. Anything is better than ButtWiper! Doesn't Bud use rice?
  19. Where's my royalty check? https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/248194-kids-in-their-20s-and-early-30-worse-then-the-panhandlers-on-the-street/page/2/ πŸ˜‰
  20. @Wacka Yeah, that's the thing on why using all available lanes up to merge/zipper point is the best... Prevents gridlock. There was road construction in Iowa City. Everyone merging early, one giant single file line. Very quaint and civil in Iowa... But it caused gridlock between 3 lights stretched over a few miles! I zipped ahead and used the open lane to the merge/zipper point... I know they saw the Illinois plates and thought: "Look at that FIP (***** -in' IllAnnoy Person)!" πŸ˜†... BUT I was preventing gridlock. Great they were overly nice and civil, BUT nobody was moving between the lights and the cross-light traffic was getting pissed. /smdh...
