  1. SUPPOSEDLY the US Navy picked up the acoustics right after the sub went missing. Wow... That's scary. How does the Navy hear that? Betcha Kim Kardashian is freaking out that they can hear her fart! 😆
  2. Report is... The kid was terrified, but went to bond with his father. A billion dolla inheritance will definitely make people do screwy things! He rolled the bones and came up craps!
  3. Good thing we keep our national secret ***** secret! 😏
  4. Can't be that bad. Why fight it... Try to sleep as much as you can to conserve oxygen... Hopefully you don't wake up. Gotta be better than instantly turned into this:
  5. Good point! BUT I argue that fire is more natural. NASA determined in the 1950s (1958 to be exact) ....THAT the human body can survive from about 4°C to 35°C (39°F to 95°F)... Basically unprotected. https://www.nib.com.au/the-checkup/what's-the-hottest-temperature-the-human-body-can-cope-with I don't need a furnace really to keep my house 40°F... Even when it's really cold.
  6. So that means I can't go to Arizona? 😏 To answer the question, probably space, I'd want my intact body at least floating around some place.
  7. Agree... If you read about the USS Thresher... First nuclear submarine of ours to be lost... They were picking up weird sounds... But ruled it.
  8. Yeah. The integrity (of hull) has to be maintained. Gotta just accept, it's a death trap. This one is going 13,000 feet. Military submarines go only like 1,500 feet... Not sure where I heard that. Update: They supposedly are picking up noises in the water...
  9. Further east. A stopped vessel in the middle of nowhere. Seems to be the proper angle off of St.John's NF/LAB: https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-49.8/centery:41.6/zoom:7
  10. Take a look. I betcha it's these cluster of vessels that are working the area: https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-59.0/centery:41.7/zoom:8 Or maybe not... lol Out there somewhere!
  11. It could be buoyant near the surface. They have no way to get out. If you think this a nightmare, how about the 3 sailors alive on the USS West Virginia after Pearl Harbor. They stayed alive for 16 days judging from the calendar they made. They probably heard rescuers all the time. Sorry for the lack of empathy... I can't believe they were so complacent. At least it will be quick for these guys...
  12. Just to be sure. I'd change those plans for somewhere in Europe. 😆 Okay... GPS doesn't work underwater. Why hasn't a locator been built in? Why hasn't a "black box" been installed that could give out pings?
  13. They could be nearer to surface. Reports are that they picked up banging sounds in intervals of 30 minutes... Sheesh...
  14. Ordered to pay: $140,000 to employees. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/restaurant-must-pay-workers-140-155511249.html "...A restaurant in California has been ordered to pay $140,000 in back wages and damages to employees after it hired a priest to extract workers’ confessions, in what federal investigators are calling “the most shameless” acts of corruption an employer has taken against its staff. The US Department of Labor said an employee testified that owner Che Garibaldi, who operates two locations of Taqueria Garibaldi in northern California, hired a fake priest to hear confessions during work hours and “get the sins out,” including asking them if they had been late for work, stolen money from the restaurant or had “bad intentions” toward their employer. ..." 😆🤣😂 Hey @Gugny @BringBackFergy ... I am surprised you guys didn't didn't interview for the job of manager at this joint... 🤔😉😜
  15. 13,000 FEET. NOT meters. I think you're mixing up the distances. 13,000 is ~>4,000m But still... Seems crazy at 4,000m given the crush depths of those other hauls.
  16. They some aren't that rich. They mortgage their houses to take these trips. /smdh...
  17. That's not a graphic. That's AiS. Vessels moving in real time. Totally interactive. Click on any of them. Even the USCG Commander was acknowledging getting input from commercial interests. He knows it's very busy out there... True about the miles and scaling...
  18. Just for reference. What's out there in this remote area of the North Atlantic. You'd think one of these guys would spot it: https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-52.3/centery:46.9/zoom:3
  19. Just imagine 16 days! And they were almost "right there." ...Not like 13,000 feet below the surface of the ocean. They probably heard rescuers: https://www.warhistoryonline.com/featured/pearl-harbor-16-days-to-die.html?andro=1&chrome=1 That's insane... For a $250,000 ticket? And people WERE/are complaining about the price of eggs and Bills PSL! 😏
