In the market for a new truck need help
ExiledInIllinois replied to mrags's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It's why the made the new Ford Ranger Different for the N.American market. https://jalopnik.com/the-2019-ford-ranger-isnt-the-ranger-you-remember-but-1831147912 Here are some excerpts from the write up on the new Ford Ranger: "Now every pickup is enormous and bloated and expensive because people have convinced themselves that these things need to be great daily drivers and pull a boat or bring home half the inventory at your neighborhood Home Depot and because @BringBackFergy is over-compensating for his lack of manliness. Manliness that Tacoma & Jeep drivers exude even in their sleep." "But this truck is really designed around daily driving and occasional hauling." -
Dude... Don't go Snowflake on me. It's an Arab conspiracy theory. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/absent-without-leave-2/

Private Contractors vs Somali Pirates
ExiledInIllinois replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Did you hear them say: "Give them warning shots..." I am not sure they wanted to kill them, but if they did, no sweat off their balls. Just spray them with rounds chase them off to send the news back. But dead pirates floating around also sends a message. Anyway... Did you see how fast the ship was going? They were making wake. The pirate skiff lands on starboard side and is aft in no time flat. The ship was hauling azz... Probably 20 knots. I assume it ain't easy trying to hit a moving target coming perpendicular to you while you are going 20/knots and your target at least double that. -

Nice... I finished, turned 18 a "Life" Scout. My son made Eagle in 2016. Barely aging out before his 18th birthday. I simply don't get bent about the flag. But, if you are going to do it, do it right. You would think a Marine would know. -
Holy Moly... Dude... It was joke Snowflake.

Little known fact II: It's like when the Twin Towers were taken down. All the Jews took leave that day. You wanna talk Jewish conspiracy... Well you gotta get up pretty early in the atrium to catch @Deranged Rhino (my source for Deep Roman State Info) napping. ?

It's groupthink. Lemmings. Anybody disagreeing with them gets shamed with guilt. Question Israel, Jewish behavior, etc... and immediately one is treated like they want to send people to the gas chamber. It's a power play. Other groups use the same tactics. Gee... Nice addition to the discussion. Idiot. Jews were the money changes selling tickets outside the Colosseum. They hired Greek slaves to drive the chariots. Pffft... Shows how much you know!

Boy Scout? It's folded into a triangle with only stars showing so when you clip it and raise it, it unfurls with out touching ground... And is not raised upside down. Can be tucked under arm during color guard present the colors. And... Supposed to be folded by two people. -

Sure is! Nice! -
Wait a second. I know an insult when I seen one. I don't really talk football. Now, if I did talk football, I suppose my views would be equally baffling!

Why Is Our Government Putting People In Cages?
ExiledInIllinois replied to Tiberius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yeah... I would throw in Lost Generation too. My parents. Didn't fall for the counter culture trap because they were already raising a family... Yet, sympathized with the era. Of course it's instilled in me, I am their kid... I am liberal too. Yet, I could support Bernie, but would be very cautious. Another con man like Trump? I guess that's how my parents viewed the hippies, counter culture. Same with my 80 something inlaws. They are glued to CNN, MSNBC, etc... /smh... The Lost Generation is dying off though... Very few hold any power. Anyway... Interesting topic. Ideologies are blurring as much as they are polarizing. As a Bernie supporter, my son has a very conservative streak in him that frightens me. I probably shouldn't have sent him to Catholic school. The worst kind of liberal. The Purple on the electoral map is expanding! But... We'll never vote Red. Blue Dogs all the way. ? -
Then on top of it, supposed to take the advice of more idiots like yourself on message board. ? Thanks for the advice, I don't need any advice.

I am an Xer... My son all Bernie because of the free education thing. I am not Bernie or Karl. I have more conservative in me. Granted... Socialism great idea, but in pure sense... Will always get spoiled. Seeing my what my father is going through with the VA system... I am even rethinking why a total socialized health system would be bad. Not that a socialized isn't working great for my father the last 50+ years, it is. I can just imagine how everybody would wreck it. This is why we can't have nice things in this country... Why pure socialism wouldn't work. -
Yeah... Don't compare means compare. Please don't compare. LoL...

Police Standards Are A Problem

You are making a correlation between two totally different situations. The two situations you described have nothing to do with each other. You don't come back stateside and think the two situations even compute. Thank you for your service. The situation there had absolutely no bearing on how we instill order here.
