  1. Wow... I didn't know that. But NY is cheating sharing two teams, two stadiums! There is a game there every week!
  2. Do it all myself! Sometimes the wife even helps. Sometimes I seek professional help when it's really hard. That doesn't happen too much, I am getting older so things really aren't that hard anymore... I learned a lot during my years. ?
  3. Just as with an expensive camera... You can take it outside, like right now in the cold (8°F)... But just put it in a bag... Plastic, or fleece insulated, etc... Before you bring it back in. Then slowly let the bag warm up.
  4. Coffee is gratuitious, does it have any nutritional value? That said... I have drank about 2 drops in my 50 years. I can live without out. Won't break me. Is this a controversial opinion? ? Word is, it is neither good nor bad: https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/expert-answers/coffee-and-health/faq-20058339
  5. They just had a College Bowl at Wrigley there a few years ago. Player safety is compromised now. One endzone too tight. For the bowl game, offense only went in one direction, towards one endzone. I assume Wrigley after the Bears left was configured more baseball only.
  6. Cool. But the Bears didn't play at Soldier Field in 1924. The Bears played at Wrigley Field and to this day have played more games @ Wrigley than anywhere else. In believe Cardinals mostly played at Comiskey & few @ Soldier. Nobody played @ (really) Old Soldier, except for a few games here and there. Bears started at Soldier around 1970. They should have shown than progression, but that's (Soldier Field progression) is a video in itself!
  7. YET, we send 18 year olds off to war. What's with the hoarding and endowment situtation with schools too?
  8. Maybe it was a long sleeved garment that zipped off to a vest?
  9. Maybe. But it's still up to you. But, the self-infliction came when you decided to accept the relocation. You could have stayed put and found another job. "Good or bad, babyYou can change it anyway you wantYou can rearrange itEnlightenment, don't know what it isChop that wood and carry waterWhat's the sound of one hand clappingEnlightenment, don't you know what it is..."
  10. People forget the history of prohibition in Canada... It was first before the US prohibition of alchohol. It was a huge failure. Same thing will happen with the Mary Jane. Canada is the jump start: https://cdnhistorybits.wordpress.com/2017/05/09/prohibition-in-canada/
  11. Asian carp are NOT a threat... Either are other migrants. LoL...
  12. Keep on spreading the myth: https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/legal-pot/even-little-marijuana-may-change-teen-brain-study-finds-n958536 "A recent study found that teen brains are more vulnerable to the effects of marijuana than alcohol. And in June, University of Pennsylvania scientists discovered that young people who used marijuana frequently were more likely than nonusers to have slightly lower scores on tests of memory, learning new information, and higher-level problem solving and information processing."
  13. Yep! Waterskiing in Fort Erie. Didn't get on land. I guess that's worse. LoL...
  14. Yeah... But you don't want to have to dig a phone out while working or playing. I can see why a smartwatch linked to your phone would be handy. Better yet, just surgically implant the phone in my eyes and ears... And keyboard can be pressing fingers in the air, gestures for control.
  15. Exactly... What can't you do at your desk that you can't do on the couch at home? Sounds like a light duty type job.
  16. Yes. Open border, more like relaxed. Like how it used to be: Customs Agent: "Citizenship?" Me: "US" CA: "Purpose for coming to Canada?" Me: "Bingo and Chinese food." CA: "Have a nice time!"
  17. Say you're out skiing, shoveling snow, mowing the lawn (not code), etc... You don't want to whip it out (not code again) your phone. A handy cheap watch under the gauntlet of your glove really is practical! Skiing I always clip my phone to a paracord (survial, chain knotted to enable extra length) neck lariat... This way you don't drop your phone off lift. There is just no way in hell a cellphone is more practical than a basic wristwatch.
  18. Timex Expedition w/Indiglo 50m water resistant Meijer $29.99 Sport band, black with velcro.
