Yep! Never a Stones fan. Not into the goofy prancing around on stage. -
Like my father before me, I will work the land Like my brother above me, who took a rebel stand He was just eighteen, proud and brave, but a Yankee laid him in his grave I swear by the mud below my feet You can't raise a Caine back up when he's in defeat [Getting creative with cain theme]

Fourteenth street and the garbage swirls like a cyclone Three o'clock in the afternoon And I am going home F-train is full of high school students So much shouting, so much laughter Last night's underwear In my back pocket Sure sign of the morning after Take me home Take me home and leave me there Think I'm going to cry, I don't know why Think I'm going to sing myself a lullaby Feel free to listen Feel free to stare I live in new york, new york The city that never shuts up In the daylight everything is so gory You can hear snatches of stranger's sorry stories And I moved there from buffalo But that's nothing The trico plant moved to mexico Left my uncle standing out in the cold Said here's your last paycheck Have fun growing old Take me home Take me home and leave me there Think I'm going to cry, I don't know why Think I'm going to sing myself a lullaby Feel free to listen Feel free to stare

My father sits at night with no lights on His cigarette glows in the dark The living room is still I walk by, no remark I tiptoe past the master bedroom where My mother reads her magazines I hear her call sweet dreams But I forgot how to dream But you say it's time we moved in together And raised a family of our own, you and me Well, that's the way I've always heard it should be You want to marry me, we'll marry My friends from college they're all married now They have their houses and their lawns They have their silent noons Tearful nights, angry dawns Their children hate them for the things they're not They hate themselves for what they are And yet they drink, they laugh Close the wound, hide the scar But you say it's time we moved in together And raised a family of our own, you and me Well, that's the way I've always heard it should be You want to marry me, we'll marry You say we can keep our love alive Babe all I know is what I see The couples cling and claw And drown in love's debris You say we'll soar like two birds through the clouds But soon you'll cage me on your shelf I'll never learn to be just me first By myself Well okay, it's time we moved in together And raised a family of our own, you and me Well, that's the way I've always heard it should be You want to marry me, we'll marry We'll marry

Well I see you've got a husband now. Did he leave your pretty fingers lying In the wedding cake? You used to hold him right in your hand. I'll bet he took all he could take. Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking When I hear the silly things that you say. I think somebody better put out the big light, Cause I can't stand to see you this way.

Where is he staying @ "The Y" or is that in the church hall? Anyway... I think I just threw up in my mouth. 5 more good years left. 80s hit people hard. -
Kegs bit heavy! 1/4 keg? Unfortunately the old guy is dead (neighbor across the street where we lived)... I could of swore he said "beerball." Which... Would have been prior to 1973 @ Rockpile. You sure they didn't make them earlier?

No. I knew an old-timer that said... That they would bring a beerball into the Rockpile. You said: "The road to ruin began the day we abandon the concept that individuals are responsible for their own situation; economic, criminal, social, etc." In the post I quoted, you didn't say responsible for themselves, you said own situation. There is a difference between themselves and their situation Yes. One has to live off the land. That's where individuals are truly responsible for their own situation. There is no "road to ruin" being interdependent on others. -

Was that the day we stopped being an agrarian society and moved to a consumer society? Like it or not you can't pick and choose. -

Because they have a God given right under the USC... So they will be selfish. Won't bend. See other POV's because it threatens that right. -

Yeah... And Hamilton duelling Burr knew what was best too... To engage in an idiotic shoot out. Is it fair enough to say the idiocy goes way back. -

Yeah... But it takes you 50 years to die. Not 50 milliseconds. -
I did my best But I guess, my best wasn't good enough 'Cause, here we are back where we were before Seems nothin' ever changes We're back to bein' strangers Wonderin' if, we ought to stay Or head on, out the door Just Once... Can we figure out, what we keep, doin' wrong Why, we never last for very long What are we doin' wrong? Just once... Can we find a way, to finally make it right To make the magic last, for more than just one night If we, could just get to it I know we could, break through it

Back when people were normal and not out of control... One could actually bring a beerball into the Rockpile. Imagine doing that today.
