  1. +1. My son born 1998 had chickenpox under the age of 1. Already had a bought of shingles prior to 15! Scars on back to prove it! I was floored when doctor said it was shingles. Daughter born 2002, had the varicella vax, mandatory I believe. He's rich. Can keep his children isolated.
  2. And this is why we can't have nice things in our family.
  3. It might by blood type! Imagine that. O blood type people have a 38% chance of beating it. B type worse. Almost 40% worse. Not saying it is true. But if it was, could people handle the truth? O Blood type privilege? B Types Matter? https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/coronavirus-blood-types-disease-severe/#app People are already struggling how they were born! Victimhood is a badge of honor now!
  4. I am very VERY skeptical of his crowd. We need an answer @LeviF91 Stat!
  5. And that friend is part of the equation because of the disease, not the governor. Yes... Same here. If it goes off.
  6. Cull the herd? Usually the weak and sick are culled. Committing suicide is just that, part of the herd's infirm. A lot more older and stronger died from the disease that shouldn't have.
  7. It's like Gug said. It's not the governor's fault. I get it, every life is a tragedy. Yet, he's thinking of many more. Pretty shameless finding blame on others, then finding honor in it. It is quite ridiculous. Sorry. I normally don't put caveats on my apologies. Doesn't mean I agree with you OR what your friend did. Just sorry for your loss.
  8. Boo hoo. Take one for the team Comrade. You're friend is a true hero. I mentioned here that in the 1930s my grandfather had a good paying job on the railroad. FDR cut his pay from $36 a week in GOLD to $18 in paper and eliminated the ability to strike. My grandfather hated "that crippled basstard" till the day he died...BUT my grandfather voted for him 4 times. My grandfather still had a job and knew it was best for the country. ...Even after the Federal Government scared people to trade in their gold for paper. My Grandfather died penniless. Unless... Your friend was physically killed by Prince Andy, he'll get over it (no matter where he is) knowing he helped others, just like my grandfather.
  9. I have Nightshift (Twilight) on. Does that affect it? It sure does. /smh Stooopid.
  10. Dude... What happens in the ShitDitch stays in the ShitDitch!
  11. 6 words, 7 if you don't count contractions: "You're the Ying to my Yang."
  12. No it's not. Boy I got got dependency fighting tooth and nail in this thread. Just eat some food. Better to be fat than have a high BAC. It's okay. Just don't spread COVID-19.
  13. It's not necessarily that. Drink all you want. Just distance. People suffer varying levels of DDTs if they don't get it. The State is just trying to curb the social aspect. People make bad judgement when drinking. This is same thing as driving drunk. You are affecting others. Then you bring it home.
  14. "...Oh very young, what will you leave us this time You're only dancin' on this earth for a short while And though your dreams may toss and turn you now They will vanish away like your dads best jeans Denim blue, faded up to the sky And though you want them to last forever You know they never will You know they never will And the patches make the goodbye harder still..."
  15. Apples ? & Oranges ?. People drink intoxicating libations and social distancing breaks down. Yes, it is about alcohol. It's that simple. And... If you drink ? alone, that's another red flag.
  16. But some people definitely need a drink every day. I'd still call them alcoholics.
  17. I don't know. It depends on what you need and how often.
  18. God... So glad my Dad isn't living thru this. He'd have a 1,000 infected. They'd have a field day with his contact tracing. His personal space was 2 inches. In his drinking days, half that. /smh
  19. Yes. There are many functional alcoholics. And, the second part. Don't you think that's how it's being spread and the behavior they are trying to alter, curb... Without the spoiled 2 year olds throwing a fit.
